Introduction + Cycle Day 1 and 2.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I’m going to do one of those obligatory introduction type posts and the daily updates for cycle days 1 and 2 will be under the cut. ♥
My name is Jessica and I am 27 years old. My husband, Tyler, and I have been dating since December 21, 2008 and married since June 21, 2013. We had been trying to conceive off and on (mostly not trying, not preventing) since 2009 and we finally got pregnant with our first child in September 2015. Unfortunately I had a missed miscarriage at 14 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I didn’t know that I had lost the baby until I was 17 weeks along. We had our quad panel done at my 15 week appointment and I got called saying that there was a 20% chance she had Trisomy 18 (incompatible with life) and that I needed to have an emergency ultrasound at what should have been 17 weeks to the day. I had a D&C on December 23, 2015 (should have been 17 weeks, 2 days). I healed up quickly and we started trying to conceive a couple months here and there between then and now, but we’re officially ready to try to conceive again and this is officially our second cycle trying!
A few other things you may want to know about me: I have PCOS, I am type 2 diabetic, I have high cholesterol due to high triglycerides, and I am recently diagnosed anemic.
I am trying to manage my diabetes with a low-carb lifestyle and insulin injections and Metformin.
