I love bridgerton's inclusive and diversity cast and characters, but it is sad how even with that inclusion mindset it seems impossible to imagine that a fat woman can be considered desirable and loved

tbh, i don’t even have the energy to rant. because what happened makes no sense for their characters, for the plot. it’s not even about bellarke, but bellamy was just tossed in the garbage.

this is just another rant about the 100

before 7x12 i wrote a post saying that it didn’t make sense that bellamy believed in the bardo bs so quickly because he already saw a lot of weird things...

and then in 7x12 he says that they saw a lot of weird things and that is why he believes it!! it. makes. no. sense. have they seen weird shit? yes. but also all the crazy stuff they have seen that claimed to be “magical” or “the truth” or anything like that, had an explanation behind it. it was all human created and not so good at all!!

also, let’s say that he believed that there will be transcending... why would he trust cadogan? why does he believe in him so much?? because he wrote a book? the thing he saw in the cave could have a lot of explanations... come on.

the anomaly: unless the etherea plot has an explanation, i understand how the anomaly and memory works now. it works however the plot needs it to work. “we need this person to lose memory now” loses memory. “now he has to remember everything” remembers everything. maybe they’ll explain it, but that is the explanation i’m going with now.

the whole “best friend” label clarke is using now, after six seasons of complete limbo to what their relationship was? that is GREAT. it is kind of: now that we don’t need bellarkes to promote things, we’re putting the nails in the coffin. they were ALWAYS best friends! just retcon the whole series why not.

it makes me so mad because this season had to much potential and parts of it makes zero sense.

- why didn’t bellamy lose memories from bardo to etherea or from etherea to bardo? some people said it’s because the planets have similar time, but that sounds very... convenient? also how long were they there?

- why bellamy, someone who saw all the AI, becca and city of light situations would believe in these new beings so quickly? i mean... maybe season 3 bellamy would, but the bellamy from now? i don’t buy it. maybe if he had been there for YEARS, but a couple of months? nope.

- what exactly did he see that made him think it is ok to torture his FRIENDS? i mean, i know we have to torture raven and clarke every season because why not, but even if he was convinced that call me bill was legit, would he blindly trow his old life in the garbage? like he would not try to save and convince his friends that he saw something BEFORE he betrayed them?

- i mean can you imagine if after seven seasons of development murphy simply says that sheidheda can murder everyone as long as he gets to live? that is kind of the feeling i’m having right now with bellamy’s “arc”.

- what is the whole point? i mean, either he is going to come back to his senses (and this whole plot was for nothing) or he is dying like a disciple (which makes his whole evolution during the seasons feel like nothing).. i know that we can’t really answer this now, but i can’t take this from my head..

i think this has been a hit or miss kind of season. we’re nine episodes in, more than half of the season behind and the impression is that nothing has happened? we have seven episodes left to explain and wrap things up. will it be enough?

also, the lack of bellamy and clarke this season is not good. i think clarke had less screen time than echo. i know there were real life events that lead to this but it is still very much disappointing.
