Y'know what it's been almost 6 years and I am STILL mad about the show's ending. Look me in the fcking eyes and tell me the show runners and writers did the best they could! You can't!

Maybe it’s just me and being in the heat of the moment, but…
Lexa screwing over Clarke and the Sky People, being willing to let them die when they were guaranteed to win the war together and could’ve wiped out their lifelong threat, Mount Weather… was pretty fucking dumb in my books.
Lexa had a whole speech before marching about how Mount Weather have controlled them, killed them, turned them into monsters… only to turn around and bow down to them the first chance she gets.
She’s been holding the principles of “sacrifice the few to save the many” and “making calls with your head, not your heart” but she didn’t here. As the Commander she says she is, she should’ve sacrificed the FEW in the mountain, for the future of their people and she should’ve wiped the Mountain Men OUT, building a strong alliance with people who have the technology to do some damage to them (the Sky people).
The grounders are fucking stupid…
I usually don’t like to get too negative on Tumblr - this is for Twitter - but this time I really can’t help it, seeing this kind of BS.
Did I just read that we, the audience, should have been horrified by Clarke and others mocking Bellamy's Disciple clothes? Is this for real? LMAO
Of course they mocked his clothes. as they should. I mocked his clothes too and will continue do do so. And Cadogan’s stupid cult he joined.
What was wrong is that they should've tried to understand what happened to him and tried to save him, instead of judging him, as you do with a friend/family member who has joined a cult. But they owed no respect to Cadogan's damn cult, nor does the audience. The show (the same one that had Bellamy murdered in the most absurd way and acted like he never mattered to the story) may have ended up saying “he was right” - and therefore, that Cadogan’s cult was right - but that’s because the whole storyline was absolute BS.
And this is where I stop trying to talk about this in Watsonian terms - because such absolute nonsensical writing with none of the characters being themselves doesn’t allow it. The only way to really talk about this in Doylist terms.
Yes WE CAN and WILL say that it was JRoth’s vengeance - because that’s exactly what that crap piece of writing was, and you damn well know it, and we WERE outraged all along - by the garbage storyline and character assassination Bellamy got. This was not Bellamy (even when Bob did his best to try to make sense of this new character he was playing). I was absolutely disgusted that JRoth made him literally kneel to Cadogan. This got overshadowed by the subsequent character assassination of Clarke (and other characters), but Bellamy was character-assassinated first.
if your need to hate on Clarke and/pr Octavia and other character is so strong that they are going to pretend that Bellamy being a sheep in Cadogan’s cult was logical characterization, and to defend freaking Cadogan and his cult and the idea that the "right" thing in the story was to let the human race be assimilated into a hive mind, sterirlized and/or killed of by genocidal aliens... Get a grip.
Also, not even one (1) mention of Jasper’s extra-tragic take on humanity in his suicide note to Monty?!? Wasn’t humanity one of the main focuses of the show??
Oh how stupid of me, of course alien gods and CoLLEcTivE CoNsCioUsnEsS are more important
Look. I know The 100 has been over for a while now. But I just finished it, and I desperately want to rant. Specifically, I wanted to rant about Clarke and how she was treated.
Here goes:
DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED The 100 UP TO 7x13 *SPOILERS AHEAD*
If this really is how Bellamy dies, then it truly is the worst death that occurred in the 100.
I read people comparing it to Lexa’s death: I completely disagree. While not well handled, at least her death lead to the biggest plot of the show. Her death meant something and she was mourned season after season.
That’s not what happened with Bellamy who was the lead male character of the show. Lexa was not, even if she was in some people’s hearts.
Same goes for Lincoln’s death: I remember feeling destroyed with Lincoln’s death and bitter about the feud between the actor and the showruner because I loved this character. It was such a hard blow; but his death was also better than Bellamy’s.
Even characters like Jaha had a more decent death than Bellamy... Yes even Marcus Jaha! At least he died with people surrounding him and him giving a speech to Octavia.
I know there are antis who are rejoicing at Bellamy’s shitty death, but those who are know nothing about storytelling. The way it was handled displays a complete disregard of the way the show has been written for 6 seasons. There is no logic in the way this has been written. It’s like they pooped all over their own work.
It feels like Jason took the fans as enemies and applied the scorched-earth policy to his own show: destroy everything so there is nothing left. He wanted to keep the show for himself even if it meant destroying all the hard work he and all other writers, cast and staff put into it. It’s so unbelievable.
i don’t mind cl*x* but the cl*x* fans? yikes. they make me not like the ship
Damn in the latin american version of the 100 Last season I wonder if they forgot to cut the scene where Clarke didn’t kill Bellamy and they instead had a happy end of life together that made sense with the overall plot?
