A 30-Day OTP challenge feauturing Robin/Lucina
Day 25: On one of their birthdays
"Happy birthday, Robin!"
It seemed like this year was no different, the celebration being Lucina's idea. It surprised him a bit, mainly because she had kept it a secret from him. She dragged him around camp and town, so that the others could set the party up. Even if there wasn't a party, he would have enjoyed this day with just spending him with his loving wife.
Though the celebration was a lot smaller than the one before due to the war, he still found himself enjoying it. All the shepherds were enjoying it as well. However, halfway through the celebration, Chrom had a bit of a hard time trying to relocate Robin. On top of that, it seemed like Lucina was missing too.
"Morgan, have you seen Robin and Lucina?" The captain asked his granddaughter. If anyone knew where they were, it would be their daughter. But unfortunately, luck was no on his side. It's not that Morgan didn't know where they were, rather…
"Sorry, grandfather, but my lips are sealed! Mother and father are afraid you might try and follow them again." Morgan crossed her arms, clearly not budging.
"It was one time!" Chrom argued, knowing that Robin would never drop the fact that he and Olivia followed the two on their first date. "Besides, it's rude to walk out on your own party…"
Olivia placed a hand on his shoulder, a soft smile on her face. "Let them be, dear. They clearly want some alone time together and we should respect that." The dancer knew that Chrom was still a bit anxious about leaving them alone together. In the end, Chrom simply sighed and shook his head.
"Right. Lucina is an adult..." The Exalt told himself. Morgan simply shook her head at him. He really was going to spout grey hairs at such a young age.
Lucky for Chrom, Robin and Lucina didn't venture too far. Rather, the two of them went stargazing on top of the hill where Robin first confessed his love for her. The two of them sat next to each other in silence, his hand over hers, and enjoyed the sky above them.
"Today's been wonderful," Robin said, breaking the silence. "I know how you feel about pausing your mission for such mundane things-"
"Today's your birthday, Robin. It's hardly anything mundane, besides…" Lucina scooted a bit closer to him, gazing into his eyes. "I wanted to thank you for all you've done for me. Next year, I promise we'll hold a much bigger celebration."
Next year. It was strange to hear Lucina say that. She usually avoided her plans for what she was going to do after the future. In the Bathrealm, she had made her feelings clear; she thought she couldn't stay with Robin, because he was her father's tactician. She didn't want to burden her parents any further. It seemed like her plans had changed.
Gently, the white haired tactician pulled the woman into his lap, to which she allowed. He gazed up at her, a soft smile on his face. She returned the smile and ran her fingers through his hair.
"I wonder if you wished for anything special for your birthday." Lucina mused aloud as she played with his locks of hair. Robin laughed a bit in response, shaking his head.
"Not really, aside from peace I guess. What do I need to wish for, when I have everything I want? Friends, a family…" He leaned in, placing a soft and loving kiss on her neck. "A wonderful wife whom I love very much."
The lord couldn't help but smile in response. Hearing those words made her heart flutter a bit. It was silly how easily they could affect her, but she truly loved Robin. Everything about him was wonderful. She lifted his chin up, leaning forward to share a passionate kiss with him. In response, Robin wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, kissing her back with as much love as she did.
Lucina pulled back for a minute, nuzzling closer to him. "Happy birthday, Robin. I love you."

Day 24: Making up afterwards
It was a lonely day for Lucina. She didn't always depend on Robin and had her friends to speak with, but something just felt off about not speaking with Robin the entire day. Maybe because this was the first big argument they've ever had. They certainly have had smaller and more mundane arguments and they never tried to avoid each other this long.
Robin was going to sacrifice himself. There was no changing his mind. He didn't want anyone to suffer anymore. Lucina knew that he was struggling with those feelings, knowing that he was going to die. Even if he would be brought back, he would die along with Grima. What kind of wife was she to not stand by her husband in his time of need?
As for Robin, he knew that he shouldn't have used Lucina's actions against her like that. He knew how awful she felt when she raised her blade to him. He was just angry at the fact she didn't understand how he felt. But then again, at the time, he wasn't really thinking about how Lucina felt either.
Robin did his best to try and get his mind off of their argument. He buried himself in his books and tactics, a lot more than usual, and practically passed out on top of his books. A gentle shake of his shoulder caused him to spring up and scream ( Something about Risen riding wolves, as usual ). Looking to see who woke him, he found himself staring right into the Brand of the Exalt.
"Robin," Lucina began to say. "We need to talk."
The tactician swallowed and finally nodded, allowing Lucina to pull him towards their bed, where they sat down. Lucina was quiet as she gathered her thoughts together, trying to decide what to say. Finally, the princess opened her mouth to speak, turning towards her husband and looking him straight in the eye.
"Even if I don't like the idea of you sacrificing yourself or keeping this from my father… I can't change your mind. I understand why you need to do this. I shouldn't have shunned you for your choice. As your wife, I should stand beside you. I'm so sorry, Robin."
"Lucina, it's alright." Robin reached out to pull him in close. "I should apologize too. I should have understood how you felt about this. Truthfully, I'm afraid. I'm afraid of dying and the pain it'll bring.
But," Robin continued, lifting the princess's chin to look at her in the eye, "I believe in the bonds I have with your father and the others. I believe in our bond most of all. If there's one thing that will bring me back, it's you and Morgan. I promise you this, I will come back."
Lucina couldn't help but smile softly at his words. "I know you'll come back. I believe in the bonds we have as well. I don't want to let you go, so I won't. Even if you're not with me physically…" She grabbed his hand, gently placing it over her heart. "You're here. You'll be in my heart and in my mind, always. And I hope that my love for you will help bring you back."
"I promise it will, Lucina." The white haired male leaned in and kissed Lucina on top of her head. "When I come back, we'll be a family. I'll never stop loving you."
"And I will never stop loving you, my love."
The two brought each other close, gently kissing each other with love and passion. For now, they wouldn't let each other go. They would stand by each other, until their days together truly ended. Both Robin and Lucina knew that this wouldn't be the end. It was far from it.
Morgan peeked in the tent, smiling once she saw her parents embracing each other. Perhaps Sumia's cheesy romance novels were right; love truly is stronger than steel.

Day 23: Arguing
Robin winced at Lucina's rather loud and angry voice, quickly shaking it off and giving her a stern look. He had just told her his plan of sacrificing himself to Grima, despite promising Chrom not to. Her reaction was expected, yet the tactician couldn't help but feel angry about it. Out of everyone in the army, he would have thought Lucina would be the one to understand why he was doing this.
"I am serious," he said in a calm voice. "Lucina, I have to do this. You and I both know that no one should have to deal with Grima in any future. We have the power to finally defeat him once and for all!"
"At what cost? Your death? Robin, I can't allow you to throw your life away like this!" She was angry with him. He had promised her father and everyone that he wouldn't do this. It just wasn't fair. She had already lost her father in her timeline.
She wasn't ready to lose someone so precious to her.
"You're acting like a selfish child, Lucina!" Robin snapped at her. His words took her aback for a moment but the shocked look on her face quickly turned into a look of anger. How dare he call her a selfish child.
"I have a reason to be! I don't want to lose you! I'm not ready to lose you!" She screamed at him, the tears hot in her eyes. "I can't lose you to Grima, like I lost my father! I don't want that monster to take someone so precious to me away!"
"This is priceless, coming from the woman who wanted to murder me for killing her father!"
Both of them stopped for a moment, and Robin was surprised at himself for what he said. He shouldn't have said that and he knows it. Yet, there was that small part of him that didn't want to take his words back, mainly because they were the truth. Even though he was mostly over that, the heat of the argument had caused the words to tumble out.
Lucina tried to find the words to say, something to break the silence. Yet, she couldn't say anything.
"I have to do this. This isn't just about saving the world." He touched his hand, the one with the Mark of Grima. It was covered by his glove. He hated it. He hated staring at it. It wasn't a mark to be proud of, like the Brand of the Exalt.
"Robin," she began to say. However, her fiance simply held up his hand to stop her.
"Lucina, if you don't mind. I… I need to be alone right now." His voice was quiet. There was so much more he wanted to say. He just couldn't get the words out right now. He couldn't look at her right now, mainly because seeing her sad because of him broke his heart. He was angry at her.
He was angry at himself.
Lucina swallowed before bowing her head respectfully. "Of course, Robin." Her voice shook a bit and she quickly raced out of the tent. No 'I love you', which was a rare thing for them. Whenever one of them had to leave, they would at least kiss each other and mumble the three words in each other's ear.
Once Lucina was out of the tent, she allowed the tears to fall down her face and she desperately tried to wipe them away. She was angry at him, but just like Robin, she was angry at herself for lashing out at knows she can't stop him, and as a wife she can't help but feel like she failed. She wasn't ready to lose him. She wasn't ready to say goodbye to him. What if he didn't come back?
She was so afraid of that.
Back inside the tent, the tactician sighed, burying his face in his hands and letting out an agitated groan. He had to make her understand why he was doing this. He was afraid as well. He didn't want to leave her alone. It was his duty as Grima's vessel to put an end to this mess once and for all. He needed to do this, for Chrom, the sake of Ylisse, and most importantly - his wife.
Robin didn't want Lucina to suffer anymore than she should.
Only one more part left! Drabble #33 was basically inspired by a conversation I had with my friend Oracle. :'D I had already had the idea of Grima attacking Morgan but she helped me expand on it and I really liked the idea of it! So just a small thanks to her ~.
It got a bit Robin-centric here because when I first wrote it, I had only thought of writing a more Priam-centric drabble collection only so I wanted to include some of Robin's feelings in there too. Ah well....

A 30-Day OTP challenge featuring Robin/Lucina
Day 22: In battle, side-by-side
"I'd like one day away from the unnecessary bloodshed," Robin mumbled under his breath as he opened his tome. Lucina glanced at her husband and simply gave a nod in agreement.
"I suppose we don't have much of a choice. They aren't backing down at all." The future Exalt knew how much her father wanted to avoid bloodshed but she also knew that Chrom would have to use force if he needed to, in order to protect the innocent people.
Robin knew that as well. At least they managed to evacuate the townsfolk quickly. Looking up, he could see a brigand charging for them. He looked over at his wife, for some quick guidance, and she simply gave him a nod - to let him know that he could go first.
The tactician mumbled a quick spell, the electricity pulsing through his arm and in a quick second, he fired a spell at the attacking brigand. The electricity managed to paralyze him for quite some time, the spell electrocuting throughout his body,
"My turn!" Lucina called out and quickly sprinted towards the weakened man. Once she was close enough, she brought her blade down on him and a cry of pain left the man's mouth, she moved a bit, inspecting the body just a bit.
"Lucina,” she could hear Robin’s shouts, “behind you!"
Hearing Robin's call, she quickly turned around to meet another brigand. She quickly brought her blade up, blocking the attack just in time. As for Robin, he quickly sprinted over to where she was, pulling out his own blade and swiftly striking the enemy in the back before backing up a bit.
Once he was hurt, Lucina quickly pushed the brigand away, attacking now that she was free. She attacked once more, finishing the enemy off with a quick and swift attack.
The brigand fell and she landed back on her feet, offering Robin a smile.
"You have my gratitude," she managed to breathe out. The tactician simply grinned and rushed up to her, holding her hands in his.
"That was amazing, Lucina!" He began to compliment her. "You really do know your way with the blade! You were able to defeat him quickly."
"Well," she laughed a bit as a small blush formed on her cheeks, "I couldn't have done it without you. You may have saved me back there."
"I was only looking out for you. After all, that's what married couples do. I can't bear the thought of losing you." The white haired male said, reaching up to kiss her cheek. "I know you would have done the same for me, Lucina."
She gave a nod, "of course. After all, I can't bear to lose you either, Robin. You are my other half and you always will be."
Robin could feel his own face heating up and he opened his mouth to say something. However, they were interrupted by someone clearing their throat and when they looked over at the source; they found Chrom glaring at them, though he did indeed have his own blush on his face.
"Could you two stop that?" Chrom grunted as he pushed a dead brigand out of the way. "Gods, you're making me feel embarrassed!"
The couple let out a slight awkward laugh. They had been so lost in each other that they forgot they were in public. Lucina cleared her throat a bit, quickly changing back into her serious persona.
"Shall we finish this, Sir Robin?" She lifted her blade up.
Robin gave a nod and opened his tome once more. "Of course, Lady Lucina."
"I look forward to our first session, Master Priam."
Their strange relationship takes flight.
Part 2/8! A little fast paced but hopefully there was enough detail in it to make it seem natural. Plays out like their supports, though more summarized with some added tidbits in it!

To get such a time of relaxation was a blessing from Naga herself, but he felt as though there was something missing.
His answer came from a knock on the door. He opened his eyes and sat up, the water splashing around his toned body. "Yes?" He asked, wondering who it was.
"Chrom, may I come in?" The voice of his wife, Olivia, made him smile. He didn't bother to move from the water or to cover himself, mainly because he knew why she was there in the first place.
"Of course," responded Chrom, shifting his body a bit. "Come on in."
There entered his wife, with nothing but a towel covering her bare body. As always, Olivia looked a bit bashful, despite her husband seeing her body countless of times. She looked up, the bashful look still on her face.
"I was wondering if I could, um, join you..." She asked in a quiet voice, but she kept her eyes on Chrom. The Exalt paused for a moment, to make room for his wife, before giving her a smile.
"I would never say no to you, Olivia.” The response made Olivia's face heat up, but she walked over to the tub as she discarded the towel. It landed on the floor next to the tub and she gently stepped in, sitting down across from him.
"It's been so long since we've had some private time together." Olivia commented, the water feeling good against her skin. It had been so long indeed, and Chrom agreed. Sure, they were usually always by each other's side, they couldn't deny that, however their affections were kept to a minimum and they barely had any time now a days to even show some to each other.
That was going to change.
Chrom gently reached over, brushing his thumb against her cheek. Olivia sighed happily at the touch, placing her hand over his hand before looking up at him.
"Chrom..."
She said no more as she climbed over to him when he leaned back against his side of the tub. Their bodies, wet because of the water, gently touched as he held her in his arms. How slender she was, how beautiful she was.
His lips met with her's, sharing a rather passionate kiss as Olivia ran her fingers through his shaggy, blue hair. In return, his fingers trailed down her back slowly. A moan left her lips and she arched her back slightly as he continued to run his fingers up and down.
"You're beautiful," he whispered breathlessly in her ear once their lips parted. "Gods, how did I get blessed with such a beautiful wife?"
His words made her blush - something that would never change - and she lifted her body from his. In an instant, his free hand went to one of her breasts.
He began to massage it, tweaking her nipple and earning a soft moan from Olivia. His other hand removed itself from her back and began to do the same to her other breast. The dancer swallowed as he continued to play with her body. He was always so gentle with her, as if she would break if he was too rough with her.
"C-Chrom, I... I need you." She finally said in a soft voice. She tried to find more words to say, however they were lost in her throat. She didn't have to say any more, though.
"I need you too, Olivia." He said in a soft voice, looking up at her. "I... I want to try for our second child. I can't wait any longer."
He wanted their family to be complete now. She couldn't wait any longer either. Olivia nodded her head and shifted her body gently. The water splashed and shifted a bit as she did and Chrom reached down, rubbing her entrance underneath the water.
"Ah--" Olivia gasped as she felt his fingers around her entrance. Her hands went to his shoulders for support, a breathless "don't stop" escaped from her lips.
Chrom obeyed and he continued to tease her, stroking her entrance slowly. Gently, he slipped a finger in her and began to thrust in and out of her. Another finger slid in and repeated the same process.
She was so close, her grip on his shoulders tightening slightly. She managed to whisper his name before letting out a moan as she came. Her body shuddered a bit and she panted, resting against her husband.
He used his free hand to stroke her back, waiting for her to catch her breath before they continued. He was hard; touching her and hearing her moan for him was enough to turn him on and Olivia could feel his hard on against her inner thigh.
"I-I'm ready," the dancer finally said, breaking the silence between the two. The Exalt nodded his head and placed his hands on her waist, positioning her over his erection. She took a breath and lowered herself onto him, gasping as she felt him enter her.
It took a bit to get used to his size, to get used to him being inside of her, but she began to move at a slow and steady pace. Chrom placed his hands on her waist, helping her with the pace. She was tight - it wasn't every day they did this - so her tight walls against his cock felt so amazing. He wanted to thrust roughly in her, but he did his best to resist.
He was always gentle with her. He didn't want to hurt her.
He moved one of his hands to hers, entwining their fingers together as Olivia quickened the pace. Both of them couldn't hide their moans of pleasure and the dancer reached down, pressing her lips against his. Their tongues met, pushing against each other with force.
The blue haired lord moved their position a bit, gently moving her to her original side of the tub so that her back was pressed up against the wall. The water went over the edge and on to the floor but the couple didn't care at this point.
Chrom began to thrust in and out of her at a quick pace, his hand gripping on her thigh. Their lips parted and they moaned each other's names. They left marks on each other's skins, Chrom nipping at her neck and leaving hickies on her skin. She did the same, though they were soft and little unlike his.
He was so close. He didn't want this moment to end.
"I love you," he managed to whisper, his breath tickling her earlobe gently. Gods, how much he loved her. And Olivia loved him, so much.
"C-Chrom, I love you too!" She moaned loudly, feeling herself at the edge once more. The water continued to splash around them, creating small waved due to Chrom's movements.
He gasped, quickly hiding his moan as he pressed his lips against her's. He felt himself release inside of her, filling her with his seed. Olivia's body shuddered as she came once more and all she could do was kiss Chrom back, pressing against him.
He stayed inside of her for a few minutes to regain his breath before finally pulling out of her. They were silent, pants filling the bathing room, before laughing gently at their own antics.
"I love you," she said in a quiet voice as she moved back over to him, resting her body against his. "Let's stay like this, for a few more minutes..."
Chrom chuckled as he ran his fingers through her hair, having no objections to the matter.
In fact, he wanted to stay like this forever.
"We can't stay too long; Frederick might get worried." He joked gently, earning a laugh from his wife. The two shared another kiss, before listening to each other's humming and heartbeats.
This was the type of relaxation Chrom was looking for.

Fandom: Fire Emblem: Awakening

Summary: A doubtful Olivia starts to question if she's truly worth Chrom's affection. She finds her answer in a rather unlikely and mysterious place.
A/N: I need more Chrom/Olivia in my life. A bit of a different take on their supports is mentioned as well.
ao3 link!
But she was experiencing stage fright.
She knew she loved Chrom - she had no doubts about that - but was she truly worth it? Chrom needed a woman who could be by his side. He needed someone who could aid him in battle. He needed a strong woman.
Olivia was not that. There were better candidates for Chrom. For instance, Robin was Chrom's tactician. They were so close; why didn't they tie the knot? Sully could stand her ground easily and not take anything from anyone. Maribelle was so sophisticated and she knew exactly how the royal life worked.
Even Sumia was a good candidate for Chrom. She did save him after all.
What had Olivia done for the prince? She wanted to be with Chrom, but could she be all of that for him?
Her head was starting to hurt and she could feel herself wanting to hyperventilate from being in such a small room. She needed some fresh air. She needed to get her thoughts straight.
Peeking out of the room, there were a few servants around and about. The dancer looked both ways before sprinting out of the room ( or at least, sprinting as best as she could ), and dashed down the hallway. There was a place outside the castle that she knew was empty.
She just needed a few minutes, and that's all.
---
"Nervous?"
Chrom sighed at his tactician's words as she helped him straighten out his outfit. Frederick was nearby, ready to assist his lord whenever.
"Yeah, I guess I am. It's not every day you get married." Chrom said as he looked at himself in the mirror. "I just wish Emm was here to see me... I think she would have liked Olivia."
Robin was silent for a few minutes before finally popping a question that most of the shepherds have been wondering. "By the way, Chrom, what do you see in Olivia?"
The prince turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Why are you asking me this?"
"Well, I know Olivia's been nervous about the wedding, and a few shepherds were curious as to why you liked her."
Though she was mostly referring to Cordelia and Sumia's gossiping about the two. The tactician simply shook her head at the thought. They'll get over it. It might take some time, but they would get over it.
Chrom fiddled with his tie for a minute, repeating the question in his mind. What did he see in Olivia? Sure, they haven't known each other long, but Chrom knew that he wanted Olivia to be his wife.
She had helped encourage him after Emmeryn's death. She did her best to make sure he was alright, but she didn't try and crowd him either. Probably because, well, Olivia was slightly intimidated by him, but she did her best to make sure he was alright.
She was captivating. She wasn't the most elegant person out there, but neither was Chrom. Olivia was probably more elegant than the prince, to be honest.
Olivia was gentle, yet she was strong at the same time. That's what Chrom needed in his life - a gentle woman who could look past her shyness to aid another person.
"I just love her," he finally said with a soft smile on his face. "I just love her," he finally said with a soft smile on his face. "I don't need to explain my affections for someone, do I?"
There was a soft smile on Robin's face and she shook her head in response. She knew why Chrom loved Olivia, and she was happy that someone she cared about found that happiness, in the form of someone like Olivia.
"That's fine, Chrom."
---
Outside, Olivia continued her pacing a bit as she sighed loudly. "Look at me. I'm outside; I'm hiding from everyone... I'm starting to doubt that I'm even worth it for my future husband... What kind of fiance am I?!"
"If you ask me, I think you're perfectly fine."
The dancer jumped and quickly turned around to find where the voice came from. Her eyes landed on a young, blue haired girl standing there with her hand on her hip.
"Oh... Marth, right?"
The woman seemed to hesitate, but she gave Olivia a nod.
"How did you get here?" The dancer asked slowly and curiously. Marth looked over her shoulder, pointing behind her.
"The cleft in the castle wall, behind the maple grove."
Olivia seemed to accept that answer, nodding her head before pausing for a minute. "I thought Chrom concealed that, though."
"It seemed as though he didn't do such a good job at it. But don't worry, his secret is safe with me."
The older woman giggled a bit. "It does sound like Chrom to do something like that... The poor dear does break a lot of stuff, but he tries to fix what's broken as well."
Marth smiled at her softly, a nostalgic look in her eyes. "You seem to know Lord Chrom well."
"Oh, yes! I mean, despite not knowing each other for that long, milord and I have exchanged several stories. One time, we were outside and all we did was talk under the moonlight. It went on for several hours... Until Frederick yelled at us for staying up until the sun started to rise..."
Olivia smiled at the memory and laughed a bit. She remembered Chrom trying to calm Frederick down, while giving Olivia a slight mischievous smile.
"He seemed to open up to you easily," commented Marth, her smile growing a bit.
"He did say that to me... Apparently he's told me stories and feelings that not even Robin or Frederick know about."
Olivia fell silent, remembering the time where she stumbled upon Chrom crying for his deceased sister. It was such a scary event, to see Ylisse's lord like that, so Olivia could only do what she first thought of.
She wrapped her arms around the elder male, which surprised him of course. She remembered how he gently touched her hand as he continued to cry.
Olivia held him for such a long time, and no words were exchanged until the very end.
"I'm sorry," he laughed gently as he wiped his eyes. The dancer shook her head at him, touching his cheek.
"There's no reason to be sorry, milord,” she said softly. “I understand."
Olivia sighed a bit at the memory. That was probably the day they really started to talk to each other, without running away from each other like the first time they tried to have a serious conversation.
"Why do you doubt yourself, then?" Olivia looked up at Marth, a bit surprised at the question.
"You have no reason to doubt yourself, milady." Marth continued, sitting down next to the woman. "You say that you're not worth it, but clearly you are. Lord Chrom trusts and loves you enough to let you see a side that not many people could say they've seen before."
"You... You really think that?" Olivia asked quietly. Marth nodded her head.
"I know so." She paused and continued on. "My mother was like you. She told me how she doubted herself, wondering if she was good enough for anything. She wasn't aware just how strong she was at the time. But, she finally did realize it, and she was happy she went through with it."
The pink haired woman was silent, listening to the other girl speak. Marth gently took her hand in her's, a kind smile on her face.
"You were there for his darkest times, and I'm sure he's grateful that you entered his life."
There were tears in Olivia's eyes, but there were tears in Marth's eyes as well. The dancer wasn't sure why - maybe the female warrior got caught up in the moment - but Olivia did know that she was right.
"I believe you have a wedding to attend."
Olivia stood up and nodded, dusting her dress off. "Y-You're right! Maribelle's going to freak when she finds out I'm not in my room." She quickly began to sprint back to the castle, stopping to turn around to call out a quick thank you to the other girl.
The blue haired warrior simply gave her a casual wave, watching Olivia run back towards the castle. She wiped her eyes and gave a small chuckle.
"Inigo, you were much better at this than I was. But, at least I got through to her."
---
Olivia took a deep breath as her grip on Basilio tightened, to which the Khan gave a slight laugh at. He leaned down a bit, to whisper to her.
"I heard you almost became a runaway bride."
"N-No, Maribelle's only exaggerating. I just needed some fresh air, to clear my thoughts out." She huffed on response, which got a laugh from the older male.
"Are you still nervous?" He asked in a serious tone. He did promise to help Olivia escape if she didn't want to go through with it ( to which Flavia gave him a look and apparently gave him a beat down after dragging him away ).
But he couldn't get an answer, as the wedding was soon beginning. Soon, he was leading her down the isle, right after the other maidens.
Olivia thought about his question in her head. Was she nervous still? Even after Marth's words, was she still doubting herself.
She got her answer when she looked up, to see a gentle smile on Chrom's face when he saw her. She saw the tears in his eyes at how beautiful she looked.
"You were there for his darkest times, and I'm sure he's grateful that you entered his life."
She had no reason to doubt herself anymore. She would continue to stand by his side, to make him happy, until the very end.

A 30 Day OTP challenge featuring Robin/Lucina
Day 21: Cooking/Baking
---
"Do you ever get the feeling we might be doing something wrong?"
Though, Chrom was against the idea. "You two have more important things to worry about," he told them with a small smile. "We can postpone it, don’t worry."
It was Olivia who suggested that they bake a cake for him. "He's always overworking himself," she said with a sigh "and while I understand why, he'll kill himself if he doesn't at least get a small break."
"I can see where Lucina gets her overworking trait from." Robin mumbled, and yelped when Lucina elbowed him a bit. The princess turned to smile at her mother, nodding her head.
"Don't worry, mother. We have this covered."
Or at least, they thought they had it covered.
Robin looked at the dismantled cake before looking over at Lucina with a frown. "Maybe we should just get him a sword." He suggested, all out of ideas.
"No!" Lucina stamped her foot like a child. "We have to succeed, Robin! I promised mother that I would! Besides, Father needs to be reminded that he can relax for a bit!"
The tactician blinked and was silent for a moment. "Lucina?"
"... If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have realized how important a break was. Father has been trying to make everyone happy. He doesn't realize how much this is affecting his health." The blue haired lord looked down at her feet.
"It reminded me... It reminded me of when I was ignoring my own health for my father. If it wasn't for you, I would have made myself ill. I don't want the same to happen to my father."
Robin's facial features softened a bit. She was doing this so her father wouldn't get sick. Both of them were pretty stubborn with looking out for other people. But Chrom and Lucina never looked out for themselves.
"You're right, Lucina." The male reached to stroke her face and in return, she gave him a smile. "We can't give up. Let's keep going."

"Milord, it would appear the kitchen is emulating smoke. I believe Robin and your daughter are responsible for it."
"What?!"
What in Naga's name were they doing in there? Chrom stomped towards the kitchen, with Olivia, Inigo and Morgan following right behind him. Olivia was pleading to be calm with them and that they weren't doing anything wrong, while Inigo trailed behind with Morgan to talk with her.
"So, what are they doing in there?" Inigo asked. Morgan shrugged a bit in response.
"Something for grandfather's birthday, I think." They had been in there for quite a while. Morgan only hoped that Chrom would calm down a bit. He's been on such an edge lately.
Within a second, Chrom angrily poked his head in the kitchen with a glare on his face. "Alright, what the hell is going on... In... Here?"
Before him was a cake. Next to Robin and Lucina was Noire, who was cleaning her hands a bit. She jumped when she saw Chrom and gave him a meek wave.
"O-Oh, hello milord,” she said in a quiet voice. “R-Robin and Lucina asked me to help them with this." Without another word, the archer left as quickly as she came, for she didn’t want to ruin a family moment.
Chrom just stared in bewilderment before looking over at the other two, who had smiles on their faces. "Can I ask why you were making a cake?"
Lucina stopped for a moment before giving her father a look. "Father, don't tell me you forgot it was your birthday."
"... It's my birthday?"
"He's been cooped up in his office lately. I wouldn't be surprised if he missed your marriage." Inigo teased his father, who shot him a look. Chrom looked back at the two, still having a surprised look on his face.
"But I told you two that I didn't need anything like this."
"Chrom, Lucina was concerned about you. She didn't want you to overwork yourself like she almost did. She wants you to take a break every now and then, so you don't get sick." Robin looked over at his fiancé, who smiled and nodded.
"Yes, father. Today should be a time of relaxation for you, and to spend time with your family as well. It is your birthday after all."
"Yeah, and you won't be getting younger any time soon, that’s for sure!"
Everyone in the room gave Morgan a look. The young tactician simply smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "What, it's true, isn't it?"
"Please, dear, we want you to relax a bit." Olivia touched Chrom's arm and instantly, the lord's expression softened again. The dancer did have that effect on her husband and with a sigh and a smile he turned back towards Robin and Lucina.
"... Well, I haven't eaten all day. Alright, let's have some cake. But, we need to get back to work soon."
Robin just sighed a bit, shaking his head. "Right, Chrom. Anyway, the cake should be fine. Noire helped us with it--"
"After ten attempts by ourselves."
"... Thank you for reminding me." Robin ruffled Lucina's hair and in return, the girl laughed. Once everyone was seated any enjoying their time together, the tactician leaned in a bit.
"Oh, Lucina, you have some icing on you."
"Huh? Where?"
Before she could wipe it away, Robin pressed his lips against her's to remove the icing from it. The female lord blushed, touching her lips gently. She smiled at her soon-to-be husband, reaching for his hand.
"Thank you, Robin, for everything. I couldn't have done it without you."
