This is a roleplayblog for my original characters. They are either part of a fandom or simply a product of my own imagination mixed with my interest of folklore, mythology and history. They are not simply good guys or bad guys, they are flawed in different ways.

This month. Wow it's been a roller coaster. My aunt died recently and for some reason I've been hyper focused on sending mails to a museum manager and a library manager. The first mentioned I questioned her about the inner workings and told her I was very interested in history, mythology and folklore. Then I found out there was an application for a museum job during this summer. I've been reading about the job, looking at a museum course and working on a CV. I asked the library manager if there was a possibility to get an internship while telling her I wanted to re educate myself into becoming a librarian. I also told her I really liked a particular library. Today she told me there was a possibility to have an internship around week 20 or 21.

I'm rewatching Gravity Falls and I've forgotten how fun and weird it is. It helps a lot now that I'm processing things :3

Since the start of the capture she had been thrashing wildly and tried to bite with her fox like teeth. But the threat of being turned into dust made her stop moving. A deep growl was heard from deep inside her throat as he planted the blind fold on her. If she wasn’t exhausted already from shape shifting she could have easily changed form into a mouse and get away. She needed rest and energy. Lots of milk to strengthen her bones and protein for her muscles. Her muscles and bones took a great toll when she changed into something really small or something really big. Especially when she stayed in that form for a long time. “I don’t want to be saved by heroes,” Fenja growled. “They’ll send me back to my country.”

     Shigaraki came to a halt and turned his head to look at her. With being being blind folded, he couldn’t see her expression. So she escaped here to Japan then. And was probably here and wanted, in order to send her back to her home.

    He nibbled his bottom lip for a moment, thinking.  Things could go differently if he handle this correctly. He would take a chance. “Why do you say that?” he asked her. “Are you saying the heroes are after you too? To send you back to your country, where I am guessing, you do not want to be? Escaped to here in Japan to avoid you country?” he asked her.

    “I can unbind you, as long as you promise me you won’t flee… I can tell if you’re telling me a lie. So don’t bother lying..”

The growl became lower until it died out completely. Every breath was heavy and loud. Her body was warm from adrenaline and despite the angry behaviour there was a great portion of fear as well. Partly because her life was in jeopardy of course but going back home meant facing years in prison. "Do you think I would protest against being saved if I was simply a damsel in distress?" Fenja said softly while smirking. "I'm not exactly a part of the Leauge of Villains fan club but I prefer your company than spending time with some masked 'hero' who lost the meaning of heroism." There was spite in her voice at the mention of 'hero'. As if the word itself was too sour. As he asked Fenja not to flee she simply nodded slowly. Better play it safe as he had the upper hand. Every part of her body was still but tense.

Today while I was reading my sisters called. We sat in a call together and they told me my aunt on mom's side has been visiting the hospital frequently. Now it seems she just fell into a sort of coma and is actually dying. I had no idea she was in that sort of danger before this call and like most relatives she lives in Finland. Her partner broke down and cried when calling my older sister. I just...It wasn't long ago my mom and grandpa died and my grandma has been very frail. She's also been close to death but somehow manage to get back up again. And today I took the third shot of the corona vaccine. I just want to visit my relatives before it's too late. I never had the chance to be there for my grandpa before he passed since he died the same day as my mom. I wasn't even on the funeral.

The Kečizube [Bosnian mythology]

Kečizubes, or Kečizubas, are creatures from Bosnian folklore. They are described as small of stature with a hairy body, and a head with long teeth. The Kečizubes hide in shrubbery and bushes to ambush people. It is said they have the ability to paralyze people with their gaze. When not ambushing people, the Kečizubes can be found in the forests where they live.

Sometimes, the creatures are described as resembling large balls of fur with large teeth and eyes. The name ‘Kečizube’ literally translates to ‘sturgeon’s teeth’.

Interesting. I'm looking up info about rowan trees since I've decided that's Fenja's birth tree and I accidently stumbled upon a short tidbit: Förr ansågs rönnen vara ett "trollträd". Den var helgad åt guden Tor och ansågs skydda mot häxor, storm och åsknedslag. Det planterades på gårdar vid grinden eller dörren. "Once the rowan tree were considered a magical tree. It was devoted to the god Thor and used as protection against witches, storms and lightning. They were planted in yards close to the gate or front door. " I feel like it's an ironic twist that her birth tree was considered a protection against witches when Fenja was considered a dangerous monster.
