Awful waffle weave - not really awful, the rhyme is awful, though. 😁 UKI cotton from @gistyarn , I'm weaving bath towels for me. I haven't used terry cloth towels for years, but now I'm actually weaving them instead of sewing them from linen fabric. Moving on with the bodhi leaf knitting, this was knit with a smaller needle, I like the fit in the frame better, but I liked the more open knitting of the previous one. This is over a piece of muslin. Prototype of what will be wall art for my bath. Please don't mind the wonky knitting or the cheap frame. The yarn is hemp from Nepal. It's stiff and a little hard to work with, but I'm getting the hang of it. Ultimately I think it will be nice. The pattern is Bodhi Leaf from Mason-Dixon Knitting Field Guide 7. Worsted weight cotton waffle weave, it looks like a pile of string now, but it will be stable once I've washed it. Waffle weave with Peaches & Cream size 4 worsted weight yarn, the waffle cells are so nice and big. The first image is under tension on the loom, and the second is with the tension loosened.
