The quick kiss to his forehead takes him a bit off guard in a good way, but not as much as the realization that this was, IN FACT, their first ever date. How'd he manage to plan this out almost perfectly?

"I suppose it's better than some dingy ass bar in the slums of hell." Husk couldn't help but chuckle. "I'mma man a' class after all..~" He'd be only half joking, back in his heyday he would be taking Angel to all sorts of highclass places. But for today..

This would definitely be a first date to remember..

With Angel cling to his arm Husk doesn't waste anytime. Being fashionably late only worked when you had the status to back it up. Surely neither of them wanted to be the last in the doors while Rosie's resident cannibals roamed around. It's in that stretch of time between the Hotel and the Grand Hall in Cannibal Town that Husk had realized just how nervous Angel was and as they approached the doors he gave one of the spiders hands a gentle squeeze.

Husk's touch was more comforting and loving to the spider and to be honest - he is right. And to hear compliments? This is new to the spider... His hands just squeezed little tighter.

"Tch... I'll try my best fluffball." He snickered, then so with click-clacks of Angel's heels went around Angel getting some eyes over the guests while still his date. Angel was so excited that he was just exhilarating with joy.

There was so many people there that he couldn't think straight, all that he could do is think of drinks. "Ey, want a drink I'll go get us one?"

"D'awhh such a gentleman, but thank ya. I know my shit when it comes ta Fashion. Though ya look amazin' too!" Angel giggles out reaching to take Husk's arm gently, blushing lightly.

"I know I rarely wear dresses but I felt more fem'nine t'night... hope it works fer ya Whiskers. Plus this annoyin' mask, not my style but eh, I'll get used ta it."

His elbow lifts to meet Angels arm half way. Beaming a toothy grin as his chest puffs up slightly. "You can wear whatever ya want. So long as you're comfortable in it.. that's all that matters t' me." Whether it be a suit, or a dress, Husk didn't mind either way. So long as it wasn't some funky bondage get up..

The sigh of relief was so heavy. "Thank fuck.." He lets himself slouch. "This damn mask is more annoyin' than I thought it'd be." He's thankful Angel feels the same, now he won't feel so compelled to hide it. "Glad we can suffer together though..~"

"Sooo what'cha think baby, pretty nice clean up don'cha think? I tried my best." He said posing abit for Husk before bowing to finnish it off.

Husk leans back against the wall in the hallway with a short huff, arms crossed over his bright green suspenders and dusty rose vest. He can't remember the last time he waited like this, probably before--

The door opens and Angel finally emerges. Husk straightens his posture with a quick inhale as he stares at the other with a surprised expression. The dress looked much better then the photos, and the way it hugged Angels shoulders.. His heart skipped a beat when his date gave a few poses in their attire, and he can feel his chest tighten.

He's waiting in the hallway outside @overangeled 's room. Tugging at the irritating mask on his face as he waits for his date to finish getting ready. Whoever decided masks were the best thing for a Masquerade Ball, was an idiot. Suits he could handle, even the tight corseted vest wasn't unfamiliar to a soul who once prided himself in high society casino fashion, and gambling. But the mask? He could definitely do without.
