This bit from Jaiden's Miku video reminds me of an old conversation (and a funny / sweet moment) she had with Roier and Mariana on QSMP.

OH MY GODS
More of this. Forever actually
partly inspired by this text post by @poughkeepsiesjr :
crazy of the episode to end with them still on the road. like the previous episode made a point of being like "Eddie came home, because family always finds a way to come home" and then the implied home of this episode was...each other. the tension and suspense was over the moment Eddie put his fingers on Buck's pulse and said he'd be okay. It's almost like LA isn't the home they fought to get back to, it's each other and Maddie on facetime and Chris recently called. They easily could have ended with them passing a sign that says "Now Entering California" or LA or even parked outside one of their homes. But they didn't need to.
“Buck risked his life for Eddie and Chris” YES AND THATS BEAUTIFUL BUT ALSO EDDIE THOUGHT IT WAS A HATE CRIME THE WHOLE TIME. HE THOUGHT HE AND BUCK WERE HATECRIMED BECAUSE EVERYONE ASSUMED THEY WERE GAY AND NEITHER OF THEM DENIED IT. THE POLICE WERE NOT HELPING HIM BECAUSE EVERYONE THOUGHT THEY WERE GAY. AND EDDIE, TEXAS-BORN-AND-RAISED CATHOLIC EDDIE “OH IM STRAIGHT” DIAZ, STILL DIDNT DENY BEING QUEER AND WAS STILL WILLING GO AFTER THE GUYS THAT HE THOUGHT DID IT EVEN THOUGH THEY VERY WELL COULD HAVE KILLED HIM FOR BEING QUEER (FROM HIS POV). AND WHEN HE REALIZED WHAT WAS GOING ON, HE STOOD IN FRONT OF THE BARREL OF ANOTHER GUN DESPITE HAVING PTSD FROM BEING SHOT TWICE AND HE DIDNT BACK DOWN UNTIL HE KNEW BUCK WAS OKAY!!!
GUYS WE ARE SO CLOSE
Also like ofc Buck was experiencing his own custom curated traumafest but in the meantime Eddie spent basically the entire episode fully believing Buck was experiencing a possibly fatal hatecrime?! In the aftermath of Eddie letting himself React when they got clocked just for the way they were with each other?! This is. Yeah. Alright. They're gonna be okay.
Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes
The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
Let's talk about reblog notes.
We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.
We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.
In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that, including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.
Keep an eye on @staff for updates to come soon.
if you want to give feedback on this update:
^ this is what the e-mail says when you send in a support ticket. i wouldn’t stop sending in manual feedback, but it’s a good idea to do what this says and reblog the changes blog’s reblog of the announcement post with your commentary.
do not add commentary onto somebody else’s reblog comment. the update has already been rolled out, and they might not see that ‘separate’ reblog chain. another example of how awful this is and how it’ll force us to change how we interact.

Genuinely WHY would you do this. Listen to your users and reverse this update
Okay, so according to this post, @staff says they're listening to us, so...
Sound off, Tumblr! How do you feel about the latest update to the reblog and notes?
Hate it. 👎
Like it. 👍
No nuance. Go ahead and reblog the crap out of this.
idk just. the diner. the humiliation and vulnerability of getting clocked as queer in public, getting harassed and disrespected, called homophobic names (would have been a slur if this was a different network guaranteed), and then there's just nothing he can do about it. eddie has had people being shitty and racist towards him, but this is new. you can see it in the way he reacts. we've seen eddie interact with racists, and he's just like whatever, fuck you, moving on dot com. this was NOT that. eddie heard that guy say "your kind" and he was out of his seat in a split second. he's so unprepared for it, the homophobia, the emasculation - eddie is level-headed and often a calming influence on situations, he doesn't fight people for shits and giggles - but here he is trying to physically fight a man who called him princess. sure, it gets broken up by earl, but just look at eddie's face in the aftermath. he's so exposed and everyone is looking and there's nothing he can do about it. he just has to walk out of the diner with no resolution to everything that just happened. the guy leaving the bar is still smirking at him: he knows what eddie is.
Tommy: I think you’re in love with Eddie, the former owner of this house
Buck: okay first of all Eddie did NOT own this house, he rented it. Second of all, he’s straight
Sheriff: I think you murdered your husband, Evan Buckley
Eddie: okay, first of all he likes to be called Buck. Second of all, I would NEVER murder him
Sorry i can't stop laughing, that homophobic sheriff basically told eddie "you're a murderer and you're gay" and eddie just answered "well i'm not a murderer..."
