Why do you even bother telling us that you are going to update if you dont?

I understand that you really want to see more chapters for my works, and I am working on them, but as an author who is doing this for free because I love sharing my work, seeing anonymous messages like this constantly can be really draining, and makes it even harder to write updates.

I know my posts have slowed down due to my other commitments (expanded on in this post), but I do promise I am still working on updates, and while it may be a few months between updates and not a few weeks anymore, I am still trying to post content that people can enjoy.

I cannot imagine having the gall to leave this sort of comment when you are literally getting this content FOR FREE. Fan content creators take time out of their often busy schedules to make these things and are kind enough to share them with you, and you chose to spit in their face.

Please consider that there are REAL PEOPLE behind the media you consume. Especially fan content creators that do this as A HOBBY. I would like to emphasize how this is not a job, and that they should not be expected to uphold a schedule.

Hey gang, guess who drew some proxy pokemon cards. 😤✊✊

Uhhhh so I’m pretty into collecting the TCG, and decided to use my evil powers of being good at doing stain glass style art to draw legendaries! Going to slowly make my way through them, and occasionally hop back to doing my bug pokemon sticker sheets(and like. Everything else in my other fandoms. Don’t worry about it).

Had a lot of fun making all the little custom elements for my card template! All the text is based on existing cards, I just mixed and matched some things since I wanted things to fit ✨thematically✨. And then I had to decide on my custom set symbol and how I would do the numbering which I switched to just their pokedex number since I don’t know how many I’ll make. Also designed custom backs to make it very obvious these are not legitimate cards.

And of course I printed it out.

The card stock I have for my prints works perfectly and the weight is super similar so it feels great in hand.

Okay enough ramblings. I got more art to do. Bye.

Doodles based on when I brought my Venipede(Croissant) to a TCG show and then accidentally dropped him in a puddle at the bus stop because I bent down to tie my shoes and forget he was in my scarf. People thought he was very cute and cozy.

This comic was super fun to figure out! I normally try to do actual comic lay outs, but just went with my default setting this time which is: Animatic. Worked perfectly since it’s now an animated comic dub!

More bug progresssss

Just finished sketching the main poison type sheet, going to make a sheet with just the wurmple lines and a bee themed sheet so that I’m not cramming all the poison bugs in one sheet heh

My piece for @dpfantasyzine! It was such a fun project and I’m really happy that it was my first DP zine!

I was really ambitious with this piece, and ended up out of my comfort zone, but am quite happy with the results, especially with the minor story elements that I’ve alluded to.

While I think I could have drawn the trio a bit better, I am really happy with their outfits, which I spent a decent amount of time on despite this being a one off piece oops. Here’s the whole line up of designs which I ended up mashing together in the actual drawing.
