while i personally really like this one (and the idea is funny given it sounds like ren is working himself up just to use defense skills for an entire turn), the songs just don't fit well enough together they're the same bpm, sure, but there's not much i can do about the long pauses between certain verses (with my current knowledge and ability) also i accidentally downloaded the censored version of lose yourself so that's a pain... in summary, while i really like this one (especially toward the end), i just don't think there's a way i can actually make it work </3 next ! the biggest issue with this one is evident right away, and it's the poor audio quality, though i also find a bit of an issue with the fact that we don't really know lucio enough yet to know if this is actually particularly tonally fitting, and i do like my mashups to feel like they have a purpose or humor behind them that being said, i'll always be a big fan of ali's vocals and i think they fit together really well with lucio's theme i think with higher audio quality i could consider this one complete, but i don't exactly have the computing power to get a better quality in the vocals as far as i'm aware </3 finally ! the one that actually did work, which i'd just like to commentate on a bit, Viva La Vida (Coldplay) x Albina's Theme/Canto IX Boss 3 Theme (Studio EIM) because i've already posted this one to youtube and it'd be a pain for me to go back and export it as an mp3 rather than a wav file, i'm just linking the youtube one

personally, albina's theme and character are my favorite things we've gotten out of canto ix so far (robot lady <333), even with her exceedingly limited screen time thus far, so i'm really very glad this one worked while i think it's definitely not perfect, it was a lot of fun and a big relief for it to work, as i stressed over the 'and i discovered that my' part for like four hours i also like that it looped really nicely at the end, i may eventually come back and loop it to fit all of viva la vida in rather than just the first bit it's also nice for me to finally be able to use viva la vida for something, as i do particularly like that song as well, and it hasn't really fit with anything else additional note but i really did enjoy ren and albina's boss fight much more than other mid-bosses we've had in previous cantos, their themes combined with the limitation of only having four specific sinners to choose fun was a lot of fun for me, though it's always a pain when you don't actually get to kill the boss and they just run away halfway through the fight... anyhoo !! since part two is coming out tomorrow, i figured i should really post this before then, as i'm obviously not going to make any breakthroughs in a day on how to make them work sorry not sorry (okay maybe a little sorry) for yapping hashtag girlboss
