Slice of life
iced coffee makes everything better

Today my coffee is decaf, but it tastes like rain. I bought it — and the sky cried for lost meaning.
I'm still trying to live in a world without caffeine, where mornings stretch on forever, and the mind only stirs by the second paragraph.
Curious thing: the smaller the book, the longer I live inside it. Maybe short texts hold more space between the lines — and emptiness, as we know, takes time to read.

I'm reading a detective novel where every other mention is Monet, Theodore Robinson, or Eugène Murer. Adding a few cups of coffee to the mix, and now my tachycardia feels like an Impressionist art experiment of its own.
Today, I decided to spend my day in grand style—horizontally, with a book in one hand and coffee in the other. I finally got to test the theory that reading while lying down helps absorb the plot better. However, not everything was perfect—this morning, I had to betray my new lifestyle and tidy up the place. Conclusion: books are best enjoyed when the surroundings are clean, and guilt isn’t nagging at you. Sacrifices on the path to intellectual growth are inevitable!
