Who is Owen Felford? 

Once Raven Cronwell’s best friend, he betrayed him and framed the mercenary for treason. Then killed Raven’s fiance, Seris, when she tried saving him from his fate, alongside all the other Crow Mercenaries. I have no idea how this shitty twig of a man manage to kill that many people but he was a tactician before hand, so likely with the support of the Velder military, he left Raven to bleed out in a field before Nasods suddenly kidnapped Raven and. Did all that to him. Currently he is implied to be one of the nobles kidnapped during the demon invasion, so he’s out there somewhere. We have no idea his motives or why Raven, who was previously considered his best friend... But did he ever truly feel that way, or were the two just stepping stones to elevate his family? One could think of all this this as the proud little Velder Noble being kicked down a peg, one could see all of this as the commoner turned noble and the proud but disgraced noble getting out their 'true feelings' once and for all... But given the note it ends on, given the fact that Owen could have killed Raven there, given that Raven could have moved his sword and knocked him over...

...Someone could have moved. But the frog and the scorpion stayed at a stalemate.

That's the last thing he said to the 'Nasod' he thought was a facsimile of the dead 'lowborn' 'idiot'. Could you not hit a vital organ back then, either? You're a strategist, you surely know all the points, having your enemy bleed out with only one arm isn't really a surefire way to make sure they died. Having your sword pointed at his face, but choosing not to kill him? That's not very "smart" Owen.

...One of the more fascinating things is also what Raven said about Seris here. 'She helped you clear your family's name'. We know little about why the Felford family is disgraced, I didn't think Owen even cared about that. I can't believe Seris helped him, he called her an idiot for helping Raven, but still seemed remorseful she died.

But maybe he wants it to be that way. I think Owen is a guy who doesn't want his emotions to be displayed under any circumstances, he seems to even laugh about the fact that this 'nasod' got him to lose his cool so suddenly.

Owen you are just as complex as I thought you were. When will you share your pain with Raven?

Evelyn Mora is a bad person. She treats her students terribly and while there may be a small corner of her soul that genuinely cares about them—- it’s not something that she can actually afford to do.

She is a spy, has been for a long time. The Organization initially ensnared her thinking her capabilities would be of use to them later. . . They trapped her in by having a woman adopt her and using her as emotional leverage whenever she thought about stepping out of line or leaving. She was on the streets before that, her most notable quality was that she was a smart kid.

But what is it she does for the organization? Well aside from her usual spy work… She teaches the kids that come through. That sounds nice- lovely, even…. But the organization is a spy ring. The only difference between her and someone like oh say… Jerry Carl is that we don’t know if she’d ever be sloppy enough to make his mistakes yet. Similarly we also don’t know if Jerry Carl is simply perpetuating a cycle…. I hope you can catch my drift about what I’m then implying about Evelyn.

She is actively hunting Martha- and maybe even Alice to some extent- down. Defectors either must be returned or dealt with. They are a spy ring

….She might feel a bit regretful about what she will have to do but she will do what must be done.

Maybe she doesn’t like killing people- her trailer she seemed so shaken up killing a man… or maybe her trailer was attempting to get people to be sympathetic to herself and the only thing she was shaken up over was getting caught.

She is not a good person. She can’t afford to care for those kids canonically. Call of the Abyss is a canon au where she could care, where she thought she was allowed to care…. Even in Truth and Inference, however- she didn’t really care if her “dearest niece” got caught- she just wanted to be sure her own hands didn’t get dirty. (She’s an aunt in that one by the by!) I think so far t&i is the closest we’ve gotten to her canon personality just… More ruthless.
