I’m having cramps so bad that I feel like I’m gonna throw up and I have 4 days of work starting tmr 😬

Wow today fucking sucks.

First the union doesn’t know who my rep is and no one seems to be able to figure out how to find out so I got sent in a phone tag loop which was very annoying.

Then my doctor gave me a script for Metformin XR which the pharmacy called to tell me there is no coverage for it so it’s $90 for a 3 months supply so I said no thanks.

Then I called the vet to order dog food for the dogs and the price went up again so now the big bag (it does last a few months luckily but still) is $277

I really feel like despite my clawing efforts, I’m descending even more rapidly into poverty.

And my sister just got hit with a $6000 dental bill that I can’t help with and her baby daddy is being shitty about paying child support so she’s going to have to pay more to take him to court.

And my dad and family are also all pressuring me.

And my dad is being moved to the hospital I work at so I’m going to have to sternly tell him to not be rude or mean to any of my coworkers.

And I feel like I can’t be at my other job as much as I should be bc I need recovery time.

And it feels like I’m being pulled in all directions by so many hands but I can’t do it all or even any of it. I need to rest and recover for at least a week with no human contact but instead I have the busiest August ever and no one will just give me a break.

Seeing so many people getting their Mondo Over The Garden Wall Figures in the mail and I’m regretting not buying the limited editions when the preorders were available. They are just expensive and I am poor. But they are soooo cute and adorable. But also trying to remember I don’t need adorable plastic figures.

Spent some time in the garden today.

Here is my improvised pumpkin sling. Something to consider when growing pumpkins vertically: they are heavy 🎃

Harvested some tomatoes also. I love homegrown romas they’re the cutest oblong guys

Just came out of the shower to find the dogs decimated - and I mean decimated - a spider all over the couch.

Could not tell what kind of spider it was (luckily I don’t think we have any in Canada that can harm a chihuahua) but could tell it was a HUGE one.

Gave both the dogs praise and treats for their hunting instinct.

I want to make channa masala but I don’t have half the ingredients. I have beans and rice so probably that’s what I’ll make for dinner. I have fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden to make a little salsa maybe to go with.

Made my first animation for the upcoming pride flash day and I must say this is sick as hell

Just pulled an all nighter to finish my flash. I basically scrapped what I had and restarted 3 seperate times. First I was making medium to large sized colourful designs. Then I thought, these aren’t going to sell I better make some smaller stuff. Then I tried to make some smaller designs without colour, but I wasn’t happy with how anything looked. So I restarted again drawing medium designs with colour but this time trying to do some well known characters and references so hopefully it’ll sell.

All the flash is finished and sent and I’m going to bed.

Today is a flare up day. I am in a lot of pain, my body hurts and my head feels foggy.

So of course Greta chose today to take a poop and roll in it.

Baths for everyone and I’m gonna have to do all the towels after.
