one of the hundred things I love about Andor is that in the end, all the villains were destroyed not in an epic showdown with the rebels or whoever but by the machine that they worked for. syril was a faceless casualty of the genocide he helped create. dedra was done in for putting ambition over conformity to the machine, and she took down partagaz, who essentially created her, along with her. even heert was quite literally killed by his own droid and his own men. all of them were crushed by the wheel they dedicated their lives to keep turning. it's just so deeply deeply satisfying.

the legacy of the band t.A.T.u. is so wild in hindsight.  it feels like something I would’ve made up at a party to impress friends.  like what do you MEAN these two russian teenage girls pretended to be lesbians because their producer thought it would help them get popular, and they did have massive hit songs in english and russian, and they competed on eurovision and protested the iraq war, except turns out one or both of them was really homophobic the entire time??  oh and i found out about this band in middle school because of a redwall amv???

I love this because it’s such a subtle example of Shane’s autism and the ‘rules’ surrounding their relationship because even with all the declarations, they’re not ‘official’- they’ve not had that conversation, and Shane needs to hear it verbalised to process it. It’s a clear cut confirmation and it’s so tender and beautiful
