Helen Keller once said, “Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.” Tonight, @artbyanxiety ’s show “Outsiders” - the one about mental health that a piece about my divorce is in - is closing tonight at @thevanderelliroom . This blurry picture doesn’t look like much, but this was an intense moment for me Friday night at @thevanderelliroom ‘s powerful “Outsiders” Show about mental health (curated by the talented Amanda K @artbyanxiety). This picture is a stranger carefully viewing the most raw and personal piece I’ve ever exhibited - it’s titled “Things My Ex Really Said”, and is the first piece I’ve made about my divorce. It was an honor to be a part of such a meaningful show.
