Also have you guys seen Papa Zola The Movie up until now?
I'd recommend checking it out. It's soooooooo damn good. It stretches the whole basic origin of Papa Zola further and beyond.
I don't know if it's intentional but ever since the whole concept of Papa Zola was "A video game character that isekai'd into real life", it slowly grows into a wholesome family troupe to the point Monsta decided to make a spin-off series based on him and his family alone.
They created a reasonable answer(in Monsta way) on how Papa Zola became who he was. Along Mama Zila before she turned into..... Female version of Godzilla (hence the name).
"Do I have to watch from any previous one before this?"
Uuhhh, yes and no, honestly. I have to invite my older sister, who barely knew anything about this series and even Boboiboy, to accompany me and she can understand the whole brief of his character and his family life easily. But yes sometimes I occasionally told her for additional info here and there if there's something missing.
Although, if you do want to get more info before the movie. I'd recommend you to check his short compilation all the way during the pandemic. If I recall, I once knew the Monsta's community services about the COVID-19 prevention was from Papa Pipi short series like this.
And also this one tells how the rough life was inside Papa Zola. It's... Melancholy at best like the movie itself.
Alright back to the movie.
I like the way it tells the story. Kinda irk that my never ending criticism of Monsta's very fast pace that never left any room to breath and adding or removing emotional scenes for unnecessary reasons were still there ಠ︵ಠ) (Please I hope they didn't do that for Gur'latan). A bit of tolerable for Papa Zola due to their limited info and got a lot of space for more creativity. But the action was always top notch and they still did the fan service like this iconic anime-inspired three shots.
Ah, speaking of numbers, without telling you the spoiler, I'd recall there are ... Two (Or three? I think the former one) heartbreaking scenes that made my sister also jaw dropped.
I still remembered I watched this during weeks after the premiere and almost at the end of its run day, I went to the cheapest theater near my home with my old sister.
...which was also one of the most lesser theaters to be known. Like, only four people attended.
(I also picked on weekdays schedule so.... there's that :/)
That's why I went wild like a football supporter since I actually can scream inside it without bothering anyone.

Summary:
"With all the adventures he had done, that last fight between Ki’rana was starting to take a toll on him, he decided to be back on earth. He was glad he still managed to negotiate with the Commander when his beloved grandfather was still around."
A story reminiscent of the hero's journey, from the moment he got the power watch to the last event in Gur'lathan.
HEYO! It took 2 years to finally get this story done! At first, this was supposedly what came after my thesis on the elementals here. But then work and life interrupt me to the point I got writer's block, and now here I am! :D
As I write in the tag, this one-shot is just my whole analysis of the relationship between Oboi and the elementals. The perspective of each elemental from Oboi's eyes and how my headcanon works in this story. Especially this one and that.
So, enjoy yourself, and again, forgive my grammar mistakes.
Safe Place
It started at night in the shop. A cozy small cafe in the small town of Rintis. It is just a normal outdoor Cafe that has a giant banner “Kokotiam” with a picture of a boy and the elder on top of it. For a modern city these days, this place was away from polluted visuals and noises you could find. It could take your stress out as long as you are here. Just as the peculiar young man who coincidentally had the same face as the logo picture above.
A young man with a single white stroke in the middle of a black hair didn't mind this small cafe at all. It's not because he did not lack financial support to rebuild the place. No.
He preferred not to do that. Not after the fact he was alone now.
… ah, not necessarily alone, there was Ochobot who was still in charging status at home. But…
It was 2 years after the funeral, he decided to take a break from being the galaxy protector. Away from being a hero. And away from his watch.
He looked at his bare right wrist, felt a little lighter and colder when he didn't use it. It was unusual at first, but hey it was not the first time for him. It was kind of nostalgic being back before he knew about all the wild stuff he had done. This small cafe is the only safe place he could find. Better than any planets he already visited. It was the place where he started a grand adventure:
The missing cocoa…
Met Ochobot and obtained a power watch…
The first time he used a triple split…
And the first battle with Adu Du.
Then from that day, the nine year old boy unknowingly became the biggest target and also the biggest hope in the galaxy.
With all the adventures he had done, that last fight between Ki’rana was starting to take a toll on him, he decided to be back on earth. He was glad he still managed to negotiate with the Commander when his beloved grandfather was still around.
Still…
It was a short time for this grandson to take care of a man who admittedly hid his illness all this time. Sometimes the boy couldn't bear to hold his tears whenever he saw the elder only lay down on the bed. Other times he cursed himself on why he did not come back home earlier. Yet, of course he later got scolded by his elder between his coughs. How was he still doing an ear pinch when the man himself barely had energy to move from the bed? The boy wouldn't even know.
But now?
Now… he was standing behind the counters, watching bazillion stars sprinkled in the dark sky. Usually the Cafe closes before night comes unless during weekends. Nowadays it is open until late at night. It was his decision even though Ochobot highly disagreed with him. Sometimes his friends visited his work, like how the ladies scolded his unusual lazy habit while delivering the orders to their houses(then he later on was being helped by them to deliver the rest of his orders), or Gopal who still did his side business to sell photos and occasionally tell his daily problems, or even Fang who still traveled to earth just to see his rival's well being. It was not because his sudden workaholic to keep the place still existed.
He just didn't want to look at his grandfather's room whenever he opened the entrance door.
The boy looked at the clock, the longer pin showed exactly at the number twelve. He moved his sight to the house not too far from the cafe, still lights out as expected. Though, all residents already lights out except of course the outdoor ones. Even though this was an unusual hour to open a cafe in this neighborhood, the lack of ambience did not matter to the boy. There were rare days when some workers or other random youngsters at his age visited it.
“Hoooaam”
The boy finally let out a sound after observing in silence. His insomniac habit really started to take a toll too. He was often caught red handed by Ochobot due to his sleeping until morning and forced to not go to work for a few days. But, eh, he couldn’t help…it…
“…ey!”
hm…?
“...hey…!”
Just… Fifteen minutes…
“Hey!”
Please… Not this time Ochobot…
“Hey you lazy bum!”
Who are you calling me lazy?
“Where's my Hot Choco!”
H-huh?
The brown eyes forcibly opened. His breath spiked when not only one, but a queue of people in front of the counters. The quiet, lack of sound vibe suddenly turned into chaos. The boy looked at his sides where all the empty seats were already full. He changed abruptly to his back to see the clock just past fifteen minutes by. The whole scene left the boy dumbstruck. It did not make any sense! How can people gather in such a short time?! Was this in the middle of the night? Was there a party held nearby? What exactly happened?!
“Hey kid! Are you listening!?”
The boy stuttered when looking back at his angry customer in front of him. “I--I’m sorry sir! Wh-what was your order again?” His hands hurriedly searched for a note and pen.
“Special Hot Choco lah!”
“Hey, me first!” Another customer shoved the man aside, “That’s my order too!”
“Make it three!” A person slammed the counter, directly showing numbered fingers to the boy.
“What about us?! We asked for the Cold Choco Shake!”
Oh god, it’s the first time he got a bigger company. Why did they suddenly come without his notice? Did he go slumber during his sleep? Even if he could sleep, those masses of people should have woken him! How does he handle these angry customers all by himself? If the owner was still here, he could have done this way faster!
If only…
—!?
A ringing sound from the telephone office rouses the boy’s mindless shock. Great, there's a delivery order too?! Should he answer it? But, he barely made any completed dish!
What should he do first?!
“One Special Hot Choco with less sugar for Iman, two Special Hot Choco for Ray and Jiah, and two Cold Choco Shake for you both!”
Eh?
In front of him, a boy in azure cloth was already giving all the finished orders to the customers.
“Choco Nut Shake and Special Cold Choco with Chocolate Brownie. Is that all Ma’am?”
Huh?
Turn his sight 180 degrees and he saw a yellow capped fella writing the order on a note while clamping the phone between his ear and shoulder.
“Api! Send this order to that cottage over there!”
“Gotcha!”
“Air! For once leave your whale on the job!”
Outside of the counter, the brown capped boy handling the order to the red capped clone while shouting a turquoise one not too far from him. The latter boy grumbled while hugging his whale doll the size of a teddy bear.
“That’ll be 7 ringgit, sir. Don’t forget, you're 38 bucks still in debt, sir Iman.”
The boy in white cloth could not hide his smirk watching the customer jolted reaction after hearing the debt numbers. That man nervously shrunk in his embarrassment as he pulled out his money and turned quicker to the exit route. Hurriedly ignoring other customers' snickers throughout.
The stressful scene now became festive as if that incident never happened. Not a single angry customer was in sight anymore. All he saw was full of satisfaction from their faces. This crowded scenery really felt nostalgic to the boy. He was sure he could not achieve this if it was not because of his beloved grandfather.
How could he handle this now…?
“Hei Oboi, why did you freeze all of a sudden?”
The boy turned to his right when his name was being called by the exact same voice, minus the way he toned was more childish than him.
“W…what?” The orange vest boy's eyes blinked as he analyzed the opponent from head to toe. Checking and rechecking the very familiar person thoroughly. And by that he saw a mirror of himself wearing a green shirt and cap that shifted diagonally to the back of his head. “D-Daun?”
“Definitely!” Daun excitedly gave two fingers’ salute and a wink. He then noticed something on the boy's face. The emerald eyes squeezing hard until the opponent reluctantly had to step back, “You looked duller than I thought, Oboi! Look at your eyes! You should get some sleep!”
Was he? He could not tell the reason why. The boy had already bewildered whether he was still sleeping or not. Seeing an identical person stand right near him as if it was just a regular teenager on the street not scaring him at all. He adjusted his stance before answering, “N-no, I’m … fine.”
“Oh no you’re not, mister insomniac.”
Another shout came from the white capped one before the opponent wanted to respond. He turned around from the cashier towards Boboiboy, silver eyes glaring sharp at him, “This late night shift started poisoning your head and your energy recently. I know I got the same habit from you but unlike me, this act is already damaging your health!”
“Are you praising yourself while drowning him in the same sentence?” The same leaf color capped one looked to the former with side eyes. In which the receiver reluctantly stretched his finger up.
“I’m stating the obvious, Daun.”
“Don’t blame him, you guys.”
The warmed touch made the boy slightly jump. The brown backward capped fella rested his hand on Boboiboy's shoulder, the golden eyes reassured to the boy. “But I agree with Cahaya, Boboiboy. These recent events have genuinely drained our young master here. And thus, you should be the one to get some rest.”
“Don’t worry, Ori! Me and Api can handle this!”
A shout came from behind as the rest four colorful twins reunited from different paths. Those empty hands confirmed all orders had been delivered.
The yellow capped shrugged his head low. “If you use your 3rd tier, Angin, I swear—”
“Relax, Sparky! I'll make sure of it!”
The nickname sent chills. He immediately turned to the red sender who was already clasping his azure twin. “What… Did you call me?”
“Huh, Sparky. Noted.”
The smug response from the ivory one triggered a challenge by the former, “Oh you want me to call you Little Lamp?”
It was then the friendly banter instantly turned to chaos.
“First, who are you calling me Lamp? Second, you dare underestimate my power?!”
“Why not? Same white, same bright.”
“... So that's how it goes huh, Sparky?”
“Alright it's on! I'll pick Petir!”
“Cahaya definitely will win this round!”
“Guys, not now…!”
“It'll be fine, Tanah! Look, Daun also managed to redeem my 3rd tier! Can Daun play with them too?”
“Air, can you please—”
“Don’t count me in, Tanah.”
“Not you too…”
The night went on but the loudness was still going on at the coffee shop. Despite having the same face, all those colorful beings did not have the same traits entirely. The debate competition showed no sign of losing between the yellow and white teens, the RGB trio became the crowd supporters, and the rest two were trying their best to stop the conflict(keyword: “try” with one person failed to do so while the other calmly spectated everything in his drink).
The bickering, the shouting, the bantering… these loud times were too overwhelming for him. His heart bloomed but the sharp edges stabbed a reality. It warms and cold at the same time. Not realizing his sight was beginning to blur.
“...I'm sorry…”
The soft spoke silenced all the chaoticness. When all the colorful individuals turned to the source, everyone was stunned to see their leader’s face already drenched in tears.
“I… Failed you guys… you should find a better wielder than me. Your powers are too dangerous for many people, including me. Maybe Ki'rana's right, I'm not worthy as your owner…”
The elementals looked at each other, silently asking for the solution. But how could they do it when their leader, the one they looked up to, was now in his deepest downfall?
“Oboi… We're fine now. You don't have to—”
“NO, DAUN!”
The sudden spiked tone made the former retract his hand when attempted to reassure his opponent.
“You're lucky that Oakuat Juice eases our work for only 30 minutes! But that's our only chance to control your power! I accidentally destroyed the whole crew with Beliung, remember that?!”
Nobody could not bear to respond to that beat, including the particular person who expressively flinched when the speaker mentioned the name. But Boboiboy did not stop there when he immediately pointed at the certain red and turquoise two.
“I made you both get into war by almost unleashing your 3rd tiers! Did you also forget that I forcibly lost Petir because of what? Because I'm. Weak!
“I was determined not to be the next Retak'ka but look what happened!”
The last two words spilled out harsher than what he intended. This would be considered rude But it was beyond his awareness at this point. It's too darn tiring! This explosion within his heart was more tiring than any other battle he ever fought. A sudden yell in public was embarrassing enough to realize. His legs wanted to run, his body wanted to escape, and his mind wanted. To forget. Everything!
IT’S TOO MUCH
A heavy thud echoes in the night as he let his knees collided to the floor.
“... I should take care of Atok instead of all this superhero thing…”
Yet. He. couldn’t. He couldn’t take care of his own family, he couldn’t even keep his promises!
He rather be grounded from the group, grounded from humiliation, grounded from reality.

“You right, Boboiboy. We elementals are dangerous.”
A stern, deep voice woke him up. Three feet away from his crouch position, the yellow shirt fellow standing sturdy. Those ruby eyes glaring down at the opponent like a predator facing his prey.
“Petir…” his voice came out wavier than he thought.
“You know how it felt once you grabbed that sword, aren't you?”
The orange boy widened his eyes to hear which weapon the opponent meant. How could he not forget?! Those sensations were beyond fusion and 3 tier transformation combined! The was short endurance, yet he felt an insanely torture inside out! The aftereffects sometimes lingered in his palm until this day. A reminder that the pain was not a mere nightmare.
“Ki'rana, Retak’ka, even Hang Kasa… they all did one thing that us, elementals, couldn't control.” Petir still continued the statement, well aware of the drastic reaction from the opponent, “We are just mere weapons and armor for our masters.
“We breathe and live through their desire. In the end we are only toys to play until they tear apart and have no value to them anymore.
“It was our fate from the very beginning as a Power Sphere.”
Power Sphere. A massive army of extraordinary robots that have grandiose abilities beyond living beings. They were created as a tool to aid their owner. Sometimes they accompany them, sometimes they serve them. No matter good or bad, once the contract was made, those rounded balls of energy obeyed to achieve their goals.
Boboiboy knew this after the battle against Bora Ra. Never had imagined in his life to see his best rounded companion, the one who gave him a destiny for the next ten years, wrecked in front of him. He was truly glad Ochobot still could be saved. And Ochobot said he was glad to be treated as a friend to him. The orange boy thought it was normal, right? Getting more friends than enemies? Creating alliances by saving power spheres he could find?
But no.
Just like Petir said: Retak'ka, Hang Kasa and Ki'rana forced him to realize what those Power Spheres should have done. The moment his power pulled out of his watch like a vacuum, he felt his heart stop beating for a second. He couldn't handle what wasn't for him and the elementals knew this from the start.
Boboiboy proved many times how he almost put himself on the edge of danger. The elementals knew their powers were too unstable for the ten year old boy.
Therefore, the boy sank lower, preparing for the worst from the next punishment. He really deserved this anyway.
And yet…
“And yet, You still gave us something beyond our previous masters, Boboiboy.”
It surprised him as he looked up and saw all elementals excitedly gathered around the lightning manifestation as a cue for their turn.
“Yeah! I still remembered how wild it was to throw fireballs right from my hands. It always felt good! That Gopal's burned hair is unironically still in my brain like it was yesterday.”
“Me too! Now I can see why Kuputeri likes to fight off the ground! Aww that first tossing Multi Monsters was still fresh in my memory! Yaya's baking lesson made me want to become a baker!”
“Oh oh! Daun learns new skills from Oboi too! Who knew Daun could make a leaf strangled based on Oboi's food culture! Daun might be a little hard to adapt to, but eventually it felt easier! Also it was nice to finally give a present to someone, like Tok Aba! Reminds me alot with The King’s favorite routine!”
“Agreed, it was hard to comprehend at first. But I admit, it was refreshing.”
“Hundreds times better than dealing with Retak'ka?”
“Don’t you dare correlate me to that spiky alien, again.”
Amidst crowded speeches, the turquoise one for the first time let out a sigh while walking near Boboiboy. Crouching until the same level as him. His cerulean eyes stayed closely at the former, then put an arm on his shoulder.
“…We're the one who should apologize, Boboiboy. We kept using you as our vessel without any consent with your health. That I…also heavily took part in it.”
"Air..." Boboiboy always heard from his friends that this water manifestation of him was known for lack of emotion, having no empathy, and always neutral towards everything. And now Boboiboy saw something different. Beyond that sleepy face, he saw those eyes showed complicated emotions: shame, anguish, rueful, remorseful…any words of “regret” from vocabulary that the boy could find.
It was then he realized that was the sky blue capped way of his asking for forgiveness.
Boboiboy smiled and returned it by nodding his head. Those cerulean eyes could not withhold his excitement as he finally showed a genuine smile for the first time in front of the boy.
The years of burden at long last have been replenished by a simple silent agreement.
"I guess…”
Another person slowly walked towards him but chose to not join the sitting room. Eyes looking sideways, hands on chin. Purposely avoiding his master's gaze upon.
“Being human sometimes was awful. You got these so-called 'emotions' that I myself… couldn't decipher how to control it.” The moonstone eyes frown to his hands. Clench and unclench as if he was testing something. “It sadly never cooperates with my own action yet Instead, it… overwhelmed me.”
It took a whole minute to grasp what the light bender meant to Boboiboy. The grand climax for his last elemental finally enters the party. One of the most near death experiences he had ever done. Even after that, the welcoming of this power was short before he had to face the original owner who was the most radical living being in the galaxy. What the orange hoped the white capped version of him would suffice his usual pride, instead, he met a facade of him. A pale, broken sight replaces that confidence and calculates from his face. Both hands gripped his clothes while burrowing his cap further.
"If anything Boboiboy…” Cahaya paused for a second, surprised that his voice came out shakier than he thought, he then forcefully bit it down before continuing, “... I blame myself for setting you and your friends in a near death situation many times because of my power ... If only I ..."
It was a painful situation in the eyes of the orange vest boy. He can feel the harsher the white twin talked, the harder he wanted to finish the last word that was already at the edge of his tongue. Oboi knew how difficult it was to unlock the last elemental. The sheer amount of endless research with trial and errors of analyzing … He started to think that the requirement is not for anyone to be found, given how much damage it had done decades ago.
Yes, even though Cahaya’s egoistic and self-content trait got from his previous owner. Once he used it against Vargoba and Retak’ka, deep down, Oboi felt his presence wanted to end the chain effect of the light power had held since ages. That’s why he could join the fusion with Hali, Duri and Taufan. Despite everything the white boy did in the past…
"... in the end, you still managed to save everyone, didn't you?"
Just one sentence. Only one statement caused a sudden whiplash that indulged those silver eyes–almost became watery. A small chuckles slipped from the white capped mouth as he quickly shifted his view so the opponent did not have a chance to see it had already dropped.
"Hmph... So this is the implications of how your powers work, eh? Now I can see why everyone entrusted you." The white one suddenly came back to his feet, turned backwards, and ignored the sudden confusion from the opponent’s face.
"...Huh?"
Before he got a chance to ask back, Boboiboy’s neck was quickly strangled from behind.
“Besides, you still got the gang around, aren't ya Ori!?” The sudden high volume from his right ear almost made his eardrum explode. “Stop whining and tell me who to smash—OW!”
The red shirt quickly shifted his head to the head slapping culprit. Slightly perplexed when it was the turquoise twin gave an unusual glare toward him. The two had an intense silent staring competition for a moment(like Oboi somehow could follow who’s in charge in between those exchanges). Eventually, an immediate realization came from the fire manifestation as he slowly pouted and bowed in front of the boy.
“I’m sorry…”
When his friends said that these red and cyan fellas looked like real twins, they're not wrong. They're totally an embodiment of polar opposites. The brash versus the calm that resembled their own elements. It was also the reason why they almost caused a war on Baraju. The record breaking split gap made him drown to hatefulness, blindness, and rage. They nearly erased his memory entirely due to that messy two kingdom’s rights (another thing to owe Fang for). Never thought watching your actions from two different perspectives simultaneously would overdepleting his entire body, physically and mentally.
But, if not because of their help, he would never be able to turn the table against Retak'ka with Frostfire, the first fusion technique that had never been before in the history of Power Sphere.
Boboiboy gave a chuckle in response, “It's alright Api, Air already did that for you too.”
The red reacted in wide shock while his turquoise twin gave a smirk in his face telling him ‘Told’ya’.
“Well, thanks to you of course! Like Cahaya said! You have your own power that none of us have!"
A familiar green hat met the boy again on his side. That bright smile solemnly did not convince Oboi’s confusion.
"Wh-what do you mean I have power? I'm just... Me?" Oboi looked down to himself, unsure what the leaf manifestation meant.
"A totally unique one that Daun was relieved to find you as our master! We're very sorry for all we did, Oboi!" The green twin took Oboi’s hand tightly as he also bowed. Afraid to look up to his own master.
“Daun…” Other than what his friend heard about his clumsiness and innocent face, Daun was the only elemental that never had a rough time, moreover, he was always responsible during his adventure. Either as a healer of the group, or became the sole elemental that Oboi finally succeeded in harnessing his 3rd tier. It made Oboi feel guilty for yelling at his green twin earlier. Shamefully admitting he can defeat Ki’rana and retrieving back the lightning elemental if not because of the help of Rimba.
When he thought the forgiving moment was done, another force collided with Oboi, albeit a bit too tight. It was quick to realize a blue capped boy suddenly buried his face to his shoulder.
“...! Angin?"
He could feel his left shoulder shaking, but it was not coming from him. Not long after, he noticed the wetness spread on his orange vest, along with the loud sobbing noises.
"I-I try my best, Ori! I will do whatever I can to co-control Beliung! I'm sorry… f-for suffering this bad! Please don't leave me, Ori!"
It was a rare time, where the one energetic and free like the wind itself was blowing a cold breeze. The same feeling when the clouds turn dark, the wind sends their chilling airflow before the rain starts to fall. Gladly, this time, it was not the hard gust of a tornado like he did during Beliung.
Beliung. One of the things that made Oboi scared of the wind elemental after the events in Windara. Every time he tried to harness it, the nightmares kept coming inside his head. And the blue twin version of him knew that too well by the evidence of slight tremor from his hug. Imagine how bewildered the blue sided cap fella was when he still got the trust to join the fusion of Sopan.
"... I won't Angin, promise you that.” Oboi rubbed around the blue vest’s shoulder, “I have the princess' approval after all."
“Angin! Leave the room for me too, y’know!” The heartfelt moment suddenly halted as the fire bender went by to shove his blue twin as he cradled Oboi’s other shoulder. Without waiting for response, the green capped jumped into the group like a cannonball.
"Yeay! Group hug—Whoaaa!"
Brugh!
Three extra weights cannot make the orange fella withhold with ease, in result, all triplets immediately piled up against their master and befall down on the floor like multiple sacks.
"Don't strangle him you guys, he can't breathe!" a panicked voice hurriedly came while pulling each troublemaker out from Oboi’s grasp. After scolding (and head punching) the suspects, the brown fella quickly lent a hand to Oboi as he made sure their master was breathing normally again.
"I-it's fine Tanah… I'm okay…” Oboi gave a small reassurance followed by a small cough after he slowly got back to his seat from the floor, “Heheh, You three never cease to amaze me, huh?” The orange vest gave his iconic ‘thumbs up’ towards the specific trio who already turned this somber moment into a lighthearted scene within seconds.
"Anyway, where are the customers??” Oboi brushed his clothes after he raised onto his feet. He then looked around and noticed an awkward silence which was odd considering a festive party minutes ago, “Why is it suddenly so empty here? Aren't we supposed to be serving the Choco?"
"Indeed you are!" The blue answered it jovially.
"But how—Wait, w-where'd you guys come from? Didn't I put my watch back in my room?” Oboi had to check and rechecked his bare right wrist back to the spectator surrounding him repeatedly.
“We’re already at this shop before you know it anyway.”
“Before i kno–wait, since when??” The orange boy squinted his eyebrows towards the white responder without knowing it cohesively made the others pull the opposite. “What’s going on??”
“Nothing’s going on.” Oboi looked sideways to see an oddly calm answer from the turquoise sleepyhead. Not satisfied with that, he looked around for more, in which all of them purposely stayed silent by avoiding his gaze or not talking at all. It was then he knew they were hiding something in front of him. Finally be able to see seven multiple sides of you with magical power in person… there was no way it could be achieved without any explanation!
“Come on, this is a dream right? It must be! How else can I stand in front of you without my watch? Please, I want to talk with you guys longer!”
Frankly, one person stepped forward to be the representative, but the solemn face said it all, “Not this time, Boboiboy.” The brown backheaded capped fella shaked his head slowly as he gently put a hand on the orange vest’s shoulder. Oboi knew he was not gonna like the next, “You’re always pushing hard to become the protector of the Galaxy. I learned that from you and I never doubt it. But like everyone said, we're very sorry for making you our vessel. We already made you suffer enough so please don't push yourself further.”
The way it softly squeezed was almost felt like a small warning: ‘it will be dangerous if you come across these boundaries.’ Oboi learned this and hated how he found out. It was always the way he looked at those golden eyes that made him reflect on who he was. Was it maybe because the earth bender’s figure exactly resembled him? Or maybe because he had the same fighting spirit to protect with all his might like his friends and family had said to him? Being the strongest elemental he had yet also the most gentle person to be helped with. Never had any doubts in making decisions while also making sure about everyone’s safety.
Either way, it still hurt to learn how similar Oboi had with the brown figure yet he felt untouched to know the secret.
“ ‘Sides, How else do you call him when there's an enemy nearby?”
In true to what the white clone said, Oboi shifted a glance to the person he was frightened to look at earlier. Coincidentally, the man in question was looking sideways on intent.
“Are you…mad at me, Petir?” a tiny low voice emitted from Oboi’s mouth.
Man, for being the same age(or so he thought), the orange boy felt like a child who was ready to be scolded by a strict parent. Even without activating that lightning power, he could tell those ruby eyes might silently strike him in mere seconds. Ah, there’s no need for speculation, he already experienced it first hand by using speeches! It would be worse if the teen started to use his signature dual swords. And indeed that was what he expected with the sigh of an answer from the opponent.
“...If what you meant by putting me in every battle as a field tester—”
The orange vest jerked his shoulder. It was beyond his counting on how many times he summoned his yellow twin. The iconic yellow bolt was the first thing he summoned that day after all. That's why from the very beginning he had powers, he felt it was an obligatory action to use the lightning elementals on every situation like a second of nature. The many stories he heard and visions he saw further convinced him how much of a lonesome warrior the lightning twin was. Consistently determined to finish the objective as quickly as possible and be on alert in any situation.
Except, after the Ada Da incident, Oboi knew how much reliance on that bond deeper might cause some chaotic aftermath if not in control. Yes, he accidentally succeeded in using the 2nd tier in early age, but it went down to the dangerous domino effect of being overly dependent on it. Until the betrayal with Ki’rana that he had learned the hard lesson about the Power Sphere itself. The boy must’ve thought his yellow twin might have beyond drained to obey every single call only to replace his risky yet reckless actions. The wrath the yellow capped warrior had always vented was justified due to endless risky actions Oboi attempted—
“—No. Order is order after all.”
Instead of cold, Boboiboy heard an unexpected soothing voice come from the one who he thought he'd be doomed for. Amidst the tense body language(with crossing arms and front sided cap who was ready to strike anyone within a glance) from the lightning manifestation, that soften facial expression proved differently. Petir might not fully inherit the gentle side of Tanah, smiling cheerfully and gleefully like Angin and Daun, confident and calculated as Cahaya, nor maybe the frantic and calm demeanor from both Api and Air. No.
Perhaps, this yellow elemental had his own mind behind Oboi’s back or …
“Just say you care, Sparky! Like that one time at the Circus planet, y’know? All those balloons popping and this mad-lad still hides his funk just for you—urp!”
Not leaving a second to finish the mocking, Api’s mouth instantly shut by a hand from the yellow twin while not looking at the former. The remarkable speed always surprised Oboi even to the smallest movement. The stunt made the red teen not hesitantly bite the whole hand like a wild cat.
*Grap!
“Ow! Api!!”
It was at that moment, the calm earnest place burst into joy. Half people were laughing at the ridiculous action from the red teen, others were mocking the yellow capped one in disgust(especially from the certain white rival).
Oboi felt both.
He missed the warmth blooming in his heart like he was surrounded with his friends and his beloved grandfather. Only this time, he met with the set of colorful seven personas with the same name. Maybe that’s why the variety of the matching hats on them kinda helped people to distinguish their individuals.
After that heartwarm scene felt like forever, the orange vest’s eyes finally started to drop lower. It might be caused by tears of joy or he could not deny the drowsiness starts taking a toll. It was a sign that he cannot hold his energy any longer.
But this time, knowing the hole inside his chest was now filled and protected with these people, he was gracefully ready to rest his eyes.
“Alright I'll sleep....You guys won't leave me, will you?”
All seven twins nodded simultaneously when their own master came back to his usual self. The brown twin gripped lightly on Oboi’s shoulder as he gave the final reassurance.
“Always. And now, it's time to rest.”
With one big exhale, Oboi closed his eyes and let his body drown into the sea of void.
But for the first time in a while, the dark was now not so cold and lonely anymore. The only thing he kept in mind was the warmth and the surreal scene that he finally got a chance to see those… those seven strongest elemental beings in the galaxy, just chillingly gathered around. No powers and all that. Like a real bunch of teenagers hanging out.
Even so, was there any possibility in another universe… where he could directly meet them not as clones but real humans? Would he still be around? Would they become a septuplet holding the name of Boboiboy?
Having five characteristic friends were already messy yet exciting experiences, imagine if the Kokotiam gang had to accompany all of them at once.
Whatever will happen next, whether in this universe or the other, he hoped they would stick together like a real brotherhood despite being elementals.
He’ll be glad to meet them again at this safe place in the future.

“Is there any reason why you bluntly tell him that?”
“What? About we were in this realm more than him? And here I thought you all grateful that our master finally visited this place, specially you, Tanah.”
“Yes I am, but you also know how risky it was for him to drown in this realm any longer, Cahaya.”
“And here I thought you’re the genius.”
“Oh? So now you all blame me for this?”
“No we’re not! You read Petir’s differently!”
“Really, Angin? What’s with all you three always judging my every move? I’ve counted the risk before we jumped in, mind you!”
“And you said the possibilities are less due to him not wearing the watch for so long!”
“But he did and still survived longer just to see us, Tanah! I think we should celebrate it, Api might’ve fired up about this.”
“You do?”
“... Hate to admit, but the lightbulb is right, Angin. About time Ori needs to find out our existence.”
“Wow… never thought I‘d hear some speech from that firecrackers’ mouth.”
“Better than being always timid like the guy in front of me.”
“Look guys, what’s done is done. We let our gate slipped open to him, but now it’s time to close shut.”
“... ‘s not fair… why can’t we just be like Ochobot…?”
“Daun, you realized we don’t have our Power Spheres anymore, do you?”
“That’s the thing, Tanah! We got the advantage more than what we’ve lost, but we still made less of any bond with Oboi up until now!”
…
“...We’re supposed to be no different than any sphere companions out there… but why was it so difficult for us to directly reach him…?”
“... We can’t, Air… Did you see his state during his loneliness in this realm? He could’ve been trapped here forever if we didn’t find him sooner. I’m sure as well felt the joy the moment he stepped in like you guys, but again he’s a human being, not like us. So please, remember that.”
…
“What if Boboiboy still insists? At this rate, he could summon all of us any moment.”
.
.
“Then make sure he won’t or else… we lost him for good.”
Be honest, I never intended to do a card haul like that.
I'm planned to buy a small gift trade in my family of... Almost 20 members ish?
The challenge was to buy a niche or rather cheap yet unique for everyone. But until the deadline, I ran out of ideas on what to buy.
Then in a small grocery shop I heard some boys talking about blind unboxing of Boboiboy Cards inside Choki-Choki like this:
And it suddenly popped in my head:
"How about I bought Choki-Choki as a trade gift, but I keep the cards to mine?"
Hence why I felt like a scalper when I took most of them at the shelves.
Hopefully that's the first and the last thing I had done about it :/
And I keep some of them in my wallet to show them with my students, especially with boys who were really surprised of me still being a fan of Boboiboy. X'D
PROJECT ONSOKU IS FINALLY REACH ITS END AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO CELEBRATE WITH FIFTH SONG ABOUT THE SPIRIT OF RACE! ✧\(>o<)ノ✧
"電光刹歌 DENKOH-SEKKA" (literal translation: Lightning Fast) is produced by one of legendary Otoge artist, Camellia-san. He mostly appears in many many rhythm games out there. Like, literally name one and search his name. I'm pretty sure his name is in the list.
Aside from that he is also popular in making remixes of the Undertale & Deltarune series. Actually he was recently invited by TobyFox to help him with his project to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Undertale.
If I'm being honest, I was kinda hoping when Sega would invite Camellia since TeddyLoid was in the list of guest arrangers for Shadow Gens. I'm kinda sceptical about it at first but after these two videos dropped, man, I'm glad I'm wrong(We also got freaking Giga and Laur, Riot, Aiobahn AND Nanobii in the list Are. You. Kidding me?!?!)
Real talk, I literally fainted when those videos dropped. Not even 2 seconds in and I'm dead inside holy shit.
Ehm.
Oh yeah! He didn't stop there!
Camellia-san also had a chance to remix two tracks! Dragon Road and Kronos Island(which is also the first time Tomoya Ohtani-san collaborated with someone since Forces(he worked with Jun Senoue-san for all songs in Shadow's DLC))
As a part of collaboration, Project ONSOKU will also be in Sega's rhythm arcades: Maimai, Ongeki and Chunithm.
And also on September 28th during Tokyo Game Show at the Sega exhibition, there will be a DJ LIVE SHOW of Project ONSOKU as part of promotion by Yunosuke-san!
So what do you guys think about the whole album itself? Personally, I don't know which one is the best cuz.... everything is so unique and true to the Sonic's world but also in line with each artist's style and aesthetics!!!!
Please listen to each song! Most of them(beside the first one) are under 200k views, I hope all of them get higher views! ♪ヽ(・ˇ∀ˇ・ゞ)
Eggman really blasted Cream with a bomb in the new Crossworlds launch trailer LOL
