I feel like there's this narrative now where people complain because other people want wm to spend time together, and their only motivation is that they're allowed to be with their respective friends. And while it's not totally wrong, what's bad in wanting two friends to see each other? Like... as far as we know they haven't seen each other in two months it's not like they spend time together any other day. I fail to understand how people can be pressed about this

the truth of it is. i don't think we will ever see pics of them hanging out the way we see pics of mack with his family or will with his harem. and i think this feeds into the "they're weird about each other" narry because we've never seen them post each other outside of a hockey context.

i mean we know they hang out every single day during the season. it's been said a thousand times. think of how many pics they probably have of them hanging out together that we don't see. the people watching dates (that are totally not weird according to will), the dinners, the shopping, the nights at toff's. and yet, we see none of it. we only see them posting each other playing hockey. idk why they're so weirdly secretive and gatekeepy about their friendship. if you were truly just normal best friends why not post all those things the way will posts about his harem? remember how will's birthday week celebration of just the two of them in san francisco didn't come out for months???

anyways back to your point - i think ppl are just bored and tension weaving again. i personally believe they've already seen each other at least once this offseason. i mean think about the weeks of radio silence we get in between sightings. they could be anywhere doing anything. if i had to tension weave/post id say maybe they use the summertime to try and forget about how much they enjoy they other one's company because it's teetering on relationship territory...we'll never know
