I know I haven’t posted anything on tumblr lately. Or any social media site I have for that matter. There is so much going on in my life, at least it feels that way. A LOT to plan, pursue, complete and plan again. My head feels heavy some mornings from the stress of getting it all done in reasonable time. The Wedding. Next year I marry the woman of my dreams! Planning overall for the whole wedding itself is going great. We still need to send out all the save the dates (a lot of them) and I still need to find and buy the right suit, let alone my almost $900 shoes. And I still need to find the perfect suits for my groomsmen. Expenses for it all aren’t too stressful, just coming up with the proper amount of expenses and dividing it all up properly between what needs to be done weighs more in my mind. Regardless, I’m extremely happy and cannot wait to share this special ceremony with the one I love! Moving. Heidi and I are moving soon too! Within the next month and a half I believe. We are looking for apartments up in the cities or the surrounding area. We are rooming with her best friend Taylor, so rent shouldn’t be a huge problem when we find a place. But we are focused on finding the expenses to get the place we want, that can be a little stressful on its own. I also have to find a new job up there and I would like to eventually start school (Full Sail University) and then those expenses will come into play when that time arrives. None the less, I am very excited to go on this journey as well! My Music. My music has always been a huge part of my life and future career. Moving up to MN has caused me to relocate my record label, Sea of Ink, and my music itself. Keeping up with the label alone has been a task, with everything else I mentioned, work has also taken some time away from music. I would like to really focus on getting the company off the ground. With that, recently signing a new artist, from out of state, and trying to release two EPs has become its own sub-task(s). I’ve been trying to finish writing and recording my Minnesota EP for an online (free download) release on my birthday, July 4th. With writer’s block, and all the other things going on, I’m not sure I can hit that due date, pushing the release back a month or two. The second EP is for another side project, Goldzähne, an instrumental hip-hop gig. Recording for that is all but a song and a half done. And I want to release that after the MN EP. But soon. While all that is happening I still need the time to focus on my new artist and his upcoming release on the label. If I can get one thing out of the way at a time, my stress level will definitely diminish. It’s just a matter of finding the right spot to begin… I’m very glad I have Heidi told hold me down, or else I’d probably fly off the wall. All is well though, my happiness comes first, and I’m very happy where I’m at in life. Bring on the work.
