So anyway I think Dr. Yung from Pokemon is Syrus’ and Zane’s father.

I mean, fucking look at them!

Their hair-colors are very similar, Sy’s and Yung’s are pretty much the same depending on how the artists coloring in YGO GX felt like when coloring Sy’s hair. And even Zane has a similar teal shade to his hair, just much darker.

The hair-style is also pretty damn spot on! Same dips and rises, tho of course the YGO-style makes it even crazier than it already is with Yung.

Syrus is even wearing a similar shirt to Young when in Slifer Red. Probably same brand with his pop’s, just smaller. And their classes are similar too! Not everyone can pull off that HP-style round style.

Tho Zane lacks most of his supposed father’s physical traits (most likely taking more after his mother, whoever that is), he has more of Yung’s psychology in his sleeve, having a villain-arc during the later seasons of YGO GX, tho he turns back to the good side in the end.

What really ties it all together is what Yung is working on in the special he appears in: Mirage Pokemon. That are basically holograms. And what do they have in YGO? Hologram-monsters. Maybe Yung was a scientist somewhere in the YGO-world and due to some experiment got transported into the world of Pokemon. Maybe he went crazy and became a villain during his time away from his family, or he was a evil asshole all along, dunno doesn’t matter tbh.

But I mean… Fucking LOOK at these guys!
