as someone who has come out to their family as NB and has changed my name and changed everything about who i was. it felt like molting almost. like i was a caterpillar that turned into a butterfly. i shed this ugly casing that was only used to keep me safe til i became who i was meant to be.

and i know how it feels to be back with those people i his myself from for so long. to flip the piercings, cover the tattoos, get used to being called a name i no longer identify with. i know the way it rottens you from the inside out.

and the way robbie portrayed the same thing with dorian. the way he figuratively and literally crumbled up this wonderful comfortable life and existence he had built for himself out from his families eyes; to literally was it up and throw it in the bottom of a closet not just to protect his friends but also to protect himself. you just can’t play two identities to perfection and he knew which one his friends needed the most.

dorian threw himself at the bottom of a closet and locked himself away because he knew no matter how much it hurt him, he knew his friends needed him to be brontë.

So here’s a Twilight (and Four and Wind) headcanon I just thought of

Since Twilight grew up in a village where he’s basically everyone’s older brother what if he just kind of babies Wind and Four unintentionally, as they’re the youngest Links in the group (and not like protecting them in battle just like. Parenting them. “did you get enough to eat” “how long have you slept today” “you should go talk to them and get some social interaction” that kind of stuff.). Wind and Four have very different reactions to this.

Four just kind of takes it in stride because he already had plenty of people from his Hyrule baby him from literally all his adventures (especially if we take the Minish Cap and Four Swords MANGAS into account too), he knows he’s capable and that Twi is just trying to help so he just doesn’t care.

Wind gets frustrated from time to time, because, as we’ve already seen, he wants to be seen as capable by the others in the group, and being parented by Twi isn’t really helping. Of course, he won’t just up and yell at Twi or something but he will get upset and sulk for a while eventually.

So I’m rewriting that FS+ soulmate AU from a long time ago where all the AUs exist and like Green has a timer and Red has soul tattoos and Erune can’t see color etcetera etcetera.

Vio and Shadow’s soul bond is one that actually matches unlike everyone else though, which is whatever one person writes on their skin, appears on the other person’s skin too.

They talk through that link a lot and draw stuff but they also have this routine where Shadow writes a cheesy pick-up line on his hand every morning for Vio and every night Vio writes a weird/mildly disturbing fact on his hand for Shadow and it’s ridiculous because:

Shadow, writing in the mornings: Are you Google because you’re everything I’m searching for.

Vio: aw cute.

Vio, writing at night: Did you know that there’s an ice cream flavor that’s supposed to taste like horse flesh.
