a few notes: - i don't wake up early, so your damn early ass texts better not wake me up. - don't call me. i've probably been texting your ass all day, and i don't need to talk to you too. i'll probably see you tomorrow. or the next day. i don't need to hear your voice every damn day. that's needy AF. - you better make plans with me during the week. otherwise, that's a whole lotta nope. i don't have time for weekend boyfriends. - please do not watch me sleep for hours at a time. that is just fucking creepy. - pizza in bed? that's a thing i'm supposed to give a shit about? - of course you will love me in my damn sweatpants. they're usually yoga pants anyway, so wtf would you complain about? i guess the rest sounded pretty okay ;) hahaha

i’m really happy not being 100% paleo.  it’s helping keep me on track to still indulge.  and i’m never cutting out alcohol.  no way.  i wasn’t planning on drinking saturday night, but then my friend was in town.  you know how that goes!  

i feel all gross this morning.  first day of my period.  blah.

oh, and i still have SO MUCH puppy chow left at my house.  my friend made me an entire box’s worth and ended up making it with a peanut butter chocolate easter bunny she was given.  in case you don’t know, puppy chow is: chex, peanut butter, chocolate & powdered sugar.  it’s amazing and so addicting.

I started reading Big Little Lies.   

It’s proving to be a great read.  I already watched the HBO miniseries.  It’s only a little different so far with some extra characters (aka more kids).

end of last week’s accomplishments.  so many highlights.  hell yah!!!

i think it’s really helping that i’m getting up in the morning early enough so i can make my daily smoothies.  starting off my day healthy always feels great!  and it’s nice to hang out in my kitchen prepping everything and creating these smoothies.  loving spring!!!

the beginning of last week’s tracking of all of my activities.  it’s really helping me make better choices and be proud of what i’ve accomplished so far!

i got this awesome planner to try to actually reach my goals this year (https://inkandvolt.com/product/volt-planner/).  it was a kickstarter when i bought it last year.

I’m trying to color code everything based on if it’s food, exercise, or getting something done.  i was still deciding on my color coding, so the colors are a little messed up here.  at first, i was just highlighting the good things in only yellow, but now i’m using yellow for food, blue for exercise, and pink for getting things done.

went over to my friend, chelsea’s for yoga tuesday and did this yoga with adriene video.  it definitely proved how ridiculously tight my hamstrings are.  so ridiculously tight. always great to do a workout with friends :) she had to cook food, so i continued working out in her living room while she cheered me on.  the fetal thighs at the end of the workout always kills me (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvFSHwgjlWo)!  my butt literally burns!  hahaha.  so chelsea was yelling, “you’ve got this!  keep it up!” from the kitchen at me.  so funny!!!  and then she kept making comments that she was glad she wasn’t doing the video with me. and then we watched 2 episodes of friends and ate some hummus and pita chips.  gotta live a little!  i wanted that hummus and those pita chips so i fully enjoyed them!

so glad earl grey is delicious enough to not need to add sugar.  i’m really trying to cut down on my sugar intake.  the amount of sugar i usually add to my espressos and tea is pretty insane.

Sunday, I did some more Yoga with Adriene.  I also did some random workouts on my living room floor with my 10lb medicine ball.  Those workouts were mostly for my side abs, abs, triceps, and biceps.  I was laying on the floor doing triceps and holding the ball so that it wouldn’t fall and completely CRUSH my face haha!  All while watching some of my guilty pleasure tv shows. bfast | almond milk + spinach + blueberries + strawberries + egg lunch | tunafish with spinach dinner | chicken + spinach omelet + almond milk water | ~50oz i’m obviously not doing exactly paleo, but close enough.  i’m happy with my food choices, and am feeling stronger every day.

Saturday, I did these 3 workouts.  First I started with the Winsor Pilates Buns and Thigh Sculpting.  Then I did Winsor Pilates Ab Sculpting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-6y08ErELQ&list=PL-bpqwNoPb-m0IBu0SIH94799McFBWcy-&index=2).  And I finished with Yoga with Adriene - Yoga For Weight Loss - Strengthen and Lengthen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UEWJsljPVM&list=PL-bpqwNoPb-m0IBu0SIH94799McFBWcy-&index=3). I’m sure most of you haven’t heard of Winsor Pilates.  I used to do this about 15 years ago.  It’s so old!  I have the DVDs, but it’s just easier when you can make playlists on YouTube so you don’t have to stop in between workouts to switch, etc. And, I absolutely LOVE Yoga with Adriene, so you know I have to always try to fit her into my workouts!

I thought I was anemic, but my doctor confirmed it at my physical. I've been trying to eat spinach with everything. Spinach smoothies and I use it instead of lettuce at ALL times. Spinach > lettuce. Plus, I really dislike mixed greens.
