Just wanted to add that there are also a number of third-party mods for the Unofficial Homestuck Collection that are already available, including:

Several mods that improve accessibility by e.g. providing transcripts of the text that appears in flash games and images, improving text contrast, and replacing images of text with plaintext

Mods that translate Morse code and Damara’s dialog

A mod that adds in the author commentary from the books

A mod that replaces the slurs that appeared in the comic with alternative dialog that conveys the same tone

And various other useful and fun-looking mods!

(So named because Cate’s a wannabe ornithologist and Alex keeps bees)

Cate is a bossy, whiney spoiled brat with anger problems. She never knows when to shut up, and she’s constantly sticking her nose in other people’s business.

Alex is a weak-willed, passive doormat who lets people take advantage of her time and time again and never takes her own wants and needs into consideration.

Together, Cate helps Alex stand up for herself and validates Alex’s feelings until Alex feels confident enough to validate them herself. Alex helps Cate find less aggressive ways of doing things, and helps her get over her massive control issues. Cate helps Alex stop being such a procrastinator, and Alex helps Cate relax. Cate worships the ground Alex walks on, and Alex... well, Alex is a little embarrassed.

These two slay me on a daily basis

Cera is Palhoncho’s Susan Strong. She’s SO RIDICS TOUGH, sometimes she has trouble when she has to be not-tough. It’s hard for her to show vulnerability or even be feminine.

Enzo is directionless and easily led, a bit of a drifter. He dislikes positions of power and having to be responsible for others. However, he’s known to be very philosophical, with a strong sense of right and wrong.

And so, Enzo helps Cera show her soft side, and Cera helps Enzo express his opinion and stands in his corner when his moral compass won’t be ignored.
