Hi Dogblr!
I'm Ámbar, although I also go by Ambi. I've been a long-time lurker of the dog community here on Tumblr (the earliest being 2015 I believe?), so I've watched a lot of people's dogs grow through time.
I knew I wanted to share my future puppy's life with others, as many have done, and felt that Tumblr provides a platform to not only share aspects of a dog's life but is also rich in the available resources (training, experienced individuals, dog sports, etc.) it can and has provided.
I'm going to be welcoming home a Spanish Water Dog puppy on July 3rd, 2021. It'll be my first puppy from a reputable breeder and I intend to dabble in and participate in any sports that interest me but also are enjoyable for my puppy-to-be.
As far as introductions go, I'm excited to talk to new people and finally start to be a part of the dog community here on Tumblr!
UPDATE: As of a few years, Medusa was returned to her breeder after much heartbreak on my part. Her breeder was not a pleasant person to interact with and doing so had my mental health take a dive.
Medusa lives in my heart and I cherish her endlessly. I wish we were able to stay together under different circumstances.
My current puppy is a male Standard Poodle called Blanket, born September 12 2024.
