Similar to PH...? Well, the only ones that came to my mind now are: D.Gray-Man and 07-Ghost. For both, I recommend you to go with the manga (the anime isn’t “completed”, and like I always say: the manga it’s always better than the anime), but if you want to watch the anime too, well, feel free to do it, but... I strooongly recommend the manga!!DGM it’s, sadly, currently on hiatus... but there’s a lot of chapters to you enjoy, *whispers* and suffer. And 07-Ghost it’s completed, with 90+ chapters. These two have a very special place on my heart, and like PH, are painful, yeah. But they’re really, really good!! Story and art: f*cking amazing. So, like you see, I recommend them a lot~ I hope it helped you ;u;
