Buckynat Week: Those noises aren’t what you think!

Tony padded out to the kitchen in the space he sometimes shared with the rest of the team. It was early, and he really just wanted coffee. He made it halfway there before he heard someone laugh, a very quiet, very pleased sort of sound. 

Laughing was okay, but then it was followed up by a low, drawn-out moan, barely muffled by… Tony really didn’t want to know what by, actually. It was a decidedly feminine sound, so, much to Tony’s dismay, he was pretty sure who he’d heard even before she added, “James. Where on earth did you learn how to do that?”

Whatever James had done to make Natasha sound like that, Tony very much did not want to know where it had been learned. He didn’t want to know anything else about it either, in fact. He really just wanted coffee, so Tony chose then to step into the kitchen in hopes of heading off any chance Bucky got to answer Natasha. 

They weren’t naked, at least, but they were standing so close that Tony could only barely see Natasha past the broad expanse of Bucky’s bare shoulders. One of Bucky’s arms was curled at an angle, probably draped around Natasha’s waist, but all he could make out of Natasha was a flash of red hair, sleep-mussed and falling around her shoulder. “Come on. Get a room, you two.”

“Mmm?” Natasha hummed, tilting her head to the side to meet Tony’s gaze. The sound suggested confusion, but her expression said anything but. With her lips still pursed around the fork in her mouth, her eyes locked on Tony’s mischievous and crinkling at the edges. 

“Well, we can,” Bucky agreed. He shifted his stance, and Tony caught a glimpse of the spatula he was holding. “But we’re taking the crepes with us.”

Fun FMA manga fact:

This isn’t mentioned in Brotherhood, but the reason Roy and Riza came to Resembool scouting out the Elrics is because someone fucked up the ages on Ed and Al’s file.

Literally Roy and Riza are riding in the back of some horse-drawn carriage into Resembool chatting with the driver like “yes we’ve heard rumors of two alchemist brothers here, Ed and Al Elric ages 31 and 30 respectively. Do you know where they live?” And the driver pretty much answers with “lol what? Those kids are like 10.”

Except now Roy and Riza are already THERE so they decide “Fuck it. Let’s pay a visit anyway.”

So everything that went down in the series is thanks to some mysterious fuck up in the Amestrian Intelligence Department and I salute that person.
