this hiatus is gonna be even longer than I thought with no clear come back. A lot of things have been happening in my personal life and I won't get into it, but I did recently become very ill and I'm trying to recover now. I hope you all understand. Taking care of yourself will always be more important than a game or social media.

Helena: My bad! I forgot we had plans tonight. Just let me freshen up.

Caleb: [tersely] Glimmerbrook.
Helena: You’ve barely said two words since we left. Are you mad at me?
Caleb: No. Being here is just… complicated. And you missed a spot.
Helena: [giggles] Oops! Listen, if you’re upset with me for going out with Lilith, I swear, it really just slipped my mind that- Hold on. Are you stealing somebody’s mail right now?
Caleb: Helena, don’t-
Helena: That’s a federal crime, you know. I doubt this Mx. Morgyn Ember would be happy to learn... Oh. Shit.
Caleb: Junk mail, all these years later. I wanted you to take tonight seriously for a reason.
Helena: You used to live here, didn’t you, with them? You told me this place was important to you, but I didn’t realize why.
Caleb: [distantly] I’ve never been able to bring myself to sell the house.
Helena: I’m sorry. I should have caught on sooner. I guess I haven’t been the most attentive friend lately.
Caleb: It’s not entirely your fault. Someone’s been doing her best to keep you distracted.
Helena: Well, she’s not here now. I am, and I want to hear more about this friend of yours we’re going to meet.

Hiii, thank you for checking in and thinking about me! 😭🥹❤️ I've been doing alright, but life is sooo busy. Holidays, my birthday, and a convention are all coming up, so that's where all my focus has been lately! Doing better than before, just not active these days unfortunately until things get less hectic. I really do wanna try and get more active (if the sims wasn't so broken on top of me being preoccupied 🥀🥀) Adulting is hard.
As far as gaming goes, it's been nothing but pokemon black and animal crossing for me lol. I haven't touched my laptop in weeks.🫠
Therapist: How’s your week been, Duncan?
Duncan: Good?
Therapist: Are you asking me or telling me?
Duncan: [sighs] It was fine.
Therapist: I’m glad to hear that... How’s your sleep schedule? Still having nightmares?
Duncan: Yeah... No. I’ve been sleeping.
Therapist: Could you elaborate, please? It’s important.
Duncan: They’re still there, but they don’t bother me like before. My friend helps.
Therapist: Oh, you’ve made a friend? That’s great, Duncan. I’m proud of you. Want to tell me about them? Did you meet them at school?
Duncan: No... I think he lives near my house, I’m not sure. He likes to make me talk, but he doesn’t really tell me much about himself. He makes me laugh... he’s funny. When we hang out, I forget about my problems. Am I going crazy?
Therapist: [chuckles] I don’t think so. Have you talked to your mom about this?
Duncan: No. She’s busy working and taking care of my sisters. My older brother’s kinda a mess right now too. I don’t wanna add more to her plate. And I have my friends now.
Therapist: You’re talking about your imaginary friends?
Duncan: No, because they were never imaginary friends… they were just my friends.
Happy Halloween/simblreen everyone!!! I know I haven't been around much these last couple of months, and I wish I could have participated a lot more but life got in the way (as I'm sure you know from my previous posts) it's okay though! Things happen!
