If I disappear out of no where, please do not worry! I was diagnosed with APL Leukemia in April ‘25 and the chemo/infusions side effects will hit me like an 18-wheeler. I’m towards the end of treatment and pretty darn close to remission! Fuck Cancer 🧡

Update 10/12/2025: I have completed all my chemo infusions now! Back to work full time and oral meds for 2ish years!

Update 07/19/2026: I’m on a hiatus till further notice. With being back to work full time and managing side effects from meds, I don’t have the energy for my fun side projects. Good news is I’m officially in remission! Once MW4 is released, I’ll probably be back.

Price and Nik end up buying a cabin in the middle of nowhere. One that barely has a road leading to it. No running water or electric.

The thing was basically abandoned. No one had lived in it for over a decade. So renovating the old thing became their thing. Anytime they had time for a vacation, they would spend it fixing the place up.

It took them YEARS to complete it. This cabin was one of the never ending projects. It completed just in time for their retirement.

Ghost never had the newest phone. He barely ever used a phone. Just kept one of those flip phones you can by at the dollar store. The ones mentioned for seniors.

Soap it the one to buy him his first smartphone. All because he wanted to text Ghost and he would refuse on the old flip phone.

Sorry for not posting much recently. Holidays are hectic and I’ve ran out of ideas that don’t surround my OC.

Just thinking how Nikolai would invite all the 141 + Laswell over for a monthly dinner.

Nikolai would go out. A nice roast in the oven, veggies prepared, various favorite fishes ready to go. John had learned a long time ago that the most helpful he can be is out of the kitchen. Only to pop in to fill Nik’s wine glass. John doesn’t take many photos but every year there is a candid photo of Nik, slightly sweaty and stressed, in the apron that says, “Hot stuff coming through! (And I don’t mean the food)”.

Gaz is always the first one to arrive. He’s the good child. Always brings some dish with him as well. He always ends up helping in the kitchen.

Soap and Ghost always arrive as a unit. Soap alway tries to help in the kitchen but quickly gets told to fuck off. His “helping” is always trying to start some type of food fight with Gaz.

Ghost ends up sitting in the living room with Price watching whatever game is on at the time. Soap joins them after being told off with bears in hand.

Laswell shows up last. Always with a fancy bottle of wine in hand and some type of baked good for dessert.

They all enjoy the feast that Nik made and bullshit with each other. Price always takes charge with clean up and orders everyone but Nik on what to do. Nike sets up the table and before they know it everyone is gathered around again playing poker.

Most nights it turns into a sleep over because it gets too late and everyone gets too drunk to get home safely.

There was a major snowstorm here that caused a lot of schools to call their first snow day. Unfortunately I am an adult who has an adult job so I still had to go in. Someone asked how the drive was and my answer was almost: Like a fucking omega in heat, wet and slick.

Anyway once Ghost gets into fandoms he says that to a group of recruits. He instantly clocks the people who understood it by the looks of horror.

Just imagining Nik and Price settling down to watch some new gay hockey show the Nik found the other day. All either of them know is it’s about to rival NHL MHL stars falling in love.

Both of the sitting down on their Davenport. Nikolai with some knitting project he started, Price with one of his crosswords. Both having a nice cup of tea when Nik hits play.

Even though they both brought things to keep their hands busy. Neither of them do any of them. Both are enamored in the first 5 minutes of the show.

They both can’t shut up about the shower scene. They actively pause and rewind, just to speculate gym routines. How can one man’s ass be so round?

Gaz loves movies. Specially going to the theater. He treats himself at least once a month if he can by going to the theatre. The local theater has a rewards/loyalty program that he uses constantly to get free tickets.

Usually he’ll go by himself. He enjoys going with other people more, though. The most common person he can drag along is Soap. If Soap’s busy he’ll try Price first then Ghost. If Nik’s in town they always try to do a movie night. He even takes Laswell along sometimes.

I have done nothing but read the Game Changers series for three days gay. I started Sunday night and it’s now Wednesday night and I only have two books left…

… the voices… they are calling… they tell me I need to write something hockey related…

So far book 1 is my favorite and I love Scott and Kip. Anytime they are mentioned in another book I giggle and kick my feet.

Book 3 is my least favorite. It was good but just not my cup of tea.

Oh 1000%, anon. I thought maybe he would read them and tell the parents what the kids are wanting, but that man loves to spoil the people he loves. He gets everything on the list, within reason, of course.

So y’know the Santa from that guardian movie with Jack Frost? The one with the tattoos? Yeah well in the distant future after everything is said and done, anytime the 141 get together there are children running around. Nik doesn’t remember exactly which kid belongs to what member anymore, but all are around the same age so it’s nice when they mingle every so often. Makes the 141 a big family.

One of the kids end up approaching Nik with that childlike wonder in their eyes and asks if Nik knows Santa. The kid is one of Gaz’s youngest so the Russian looks over in question. Another one of the kids follow up with say he is big and has an accent like him. This one ends up pointing to the TV where the movie was playing that Nik didn’t even realize was on.

He watches for a moment and likes this version of Santa. It’s better than whatever that man is named from the Santa Claus movies. Nik decides to lean into it. Sue him, he likes to make children happy. He leans into close and asked if they can keep a secret. Of course the children nod their head ecstatically. He tells them that he’s not Santa, but Santa is his brother.

The children start losing it at the thought and start asking a million and one questions. Nik shush’s them and answer some of their questions with questions. “Why do you think I took Uncle John’s name, no?”

Nik tells the children to go sit back down and watch the movie. If they’re extremely good and nice to each other, he made a pointed look to a set of twins when he said it, that he will contact his brother and let him know how extra good their being. All the kids scramble back to the tv and continue watching with hushed laughter.

This is how Nikolai is used as a threat to any of kids being unruly. “If you don’t listen, I will tell Uncle Nik and he will tell his brother.” During Christmas, all the kid will write their letters to Santa, but instead of mailing them they give them to Nik to hand deliver them. Nik will occasionally do the thing where he pulls his phone out and fakes calling Santa when the kids don’t listen.

Ghost keeps his hair short. Its the easiest to keep and deal with under his mask. Before Soap and Ghost were together, Ghost typically cut his hair himself. Usually a buzz cut because it was the quickest and easiest to do in the his small bathroom.

When Soap and Ghost started to be more than just coworkers and friends, he asked Price to help trim his hair for him. Every six or so weeks, Price and Ghost would squeeze into that small bathroom and chit-chat over the buzz of the clippers.

Ghost wanted to look nicer for Soap. Soap made a comment early in their relationship when he seen Ghost's hair grown out to be a shaggy mess after a long op. Since then he keep it longer than a buzz. So every six or so weeks,
