I haven't drawn anything this year, but here's Nezha! Since I'm barely back on the drawing saddle I just wanted to draw something quick. The sequel was way better than the first movie for me.

I ended up watching The Adventures of Buratino which is a 70s musical film. It's basically the Russian version of Pinocchio and me being into clown core, my favorite character is the lovely sad poet clown Pierrot. I wanted to do an 80s anime style again, but not sure if I really hit the mark on this one. Anyway I love the character design and Pierrot needs to be protected at all costs.
I wanted to share some of my favorite dialogues from FF7 while I was playing it a few years back. I ended up sketching the original character designs rather than the new looks from the Remake series, although Cid seems to be the same tbh.
I wanted to do a 90s anime style of Aki's confession for far too long. I like how the slightest "wrong" dialogue options can just lock you out of his romantic social link from very early on. Anyway, I added Japanese subtitles as well for what he says exactly in the game.
I'm late to this trend I saw a while back, but I really wanted to draw this anyway. Here's my starter pack!
Okay y'all I will confess I never played Honkai Star Rail, but this man showed up on my feed. I couldn't resist looking into him and ended up watching some clips of his story/background (which ended up being sad for me).
Anyway I'm a sucker for cyborgs, and I'm in a cowboy era since MTAS (aka Logan) so I HAD to draw Boothill. I think his character design is cool af even though he was a pain to draw. I was super close to downloading HSR for him.
Heine/Haine is the next white-haired character for my project.
Anyway, I have always been into Dogs: Bullets & Carnage for almost two decades. It's been on an indefinite hiatus forever like everything else I'm into apparently. I still say go give it a read, honestly.
Decided to go with Dr. Thunderland Jr. to fill in my 3rd slot. The art in the Tegami Bachi manga is so unique to me. I'm slowly working on this project bit by bit.
I was over the moon when the Netflix trailer for The Summer Hikaru Died was released last year. They better not leave anything out and make it creepy as it is.
And I better see the ell jee bee tea shenanigans too.
Anyway here's our Freakaru joining in with my 6 fanarts project.
I'm back to working on my 6 fanarts hair-colored edition thing. The first is Chrome from Heart Gear.
I picked this series up last year since I'm a sucker for cyborg stuff, and I had no idea it was on a hiatus. I know it's finished now due to it getting axed (popularity died down due to hiatus of course) and I am already aware I won't be a big fan of the ending, but this was so fun to read. I wish we got to see how the story was really supposed to go.
I uploaded this to the Pathea discord a while ago but now it's on here as well!
I've been dying to draw something from Fang's Words to Betray the Heart mission. I know I could've done the fluff stuff towards the end, but I wanted something dramatic 😅
Anyway, this dialogue/scene made me feel things. So this is how in my head would've turned out if this was from a 90s anime. This art style is just therapeutic for me to do so I can't help it.
I ended up binge-watching Hazbin Hotel one day in July last year. I actually don't like musicals but the whole soundtrack was a bop.
Anyway, I finally got around to drawing if Alastor was in a 90s anime.
Some Khazan fanart because the demo was super fun to play, and of course I preordered it.
I play a few soulslike games and honestly, The First Berserker Khazan is probably the one I've had the most fun and it's the most forgiving of the ones I've played (based off the demo). But since I honestly suck at them well I guess that says a lot coming from me.
Anyway please go try it out!!
Here's my red hair edition for my 6 fanarts project. I started this as soon as I was done with the black hair edition, but I ended up finishing in December of last year.
I know Alastor and Ragnar aren't manga characters, but I just wanted an excuse to draw them 😅
I also have to confess I haven't been working on the entire project since, but I'm already planning to do the white hair edition next!
I started a 6 fanarts project but with hair colors probably 2 years ago. I opened my file a few months ago and didn't like how my art looked, so I scrapped the whole thing.
But now I am very determined to get his project done. I finished the black hair edition back in October last year. I wanted to focus this project on my favorite characters from the manga I read/am reading.
Also Kurama fans, I know his hair is red in the anime but I wanted to go with his hair color in the manga. Trust and believe I'll do the red hair sometime!!! And if anyone took anything away from this, please read Vagabond 😭
I posted this on the Pathea discord server but thought I'd drop it here too. I probably clocked in 260+ hours playing Sandrock and I already ate up the new Logan content but my thirst is insatiable.
I ended up watching parts of the 70s animated musical Raggedy Ann & Andy last year. So here's a quick doodle I did of Andy! I really loved his scenes.
