The reason I created a self portrait based on my top five strengths is because I believe it’s important to reflect on our strengths and what we’ve overcome. Often times, we see or hear people talk about their flaws and zero in on them. It’s unfortunate that most of the time people talk about their strengths, they tend to be modest about it, even myself. I’ve learned through the years that I shouldn’t be ashamed or feel guilty for having high confidence and believing in myself. I’ve got my flaws and weaknesses, just like anyone else but I can’t ignore my strengths and how they’ve helped me achieve a happy life and the encouragement to stay motivated. I believe it’s important for people to look at a portrait of themselves and remember who they are and what makes them strong.

To every victim & survivor; your voice matters, your feelings are valid, & I see you & hear you. Your life matters. Speak up, take back your life, & understand that you deserve all the happiness & healing in the world. Standing up for myself, taking control over my life, & looking my abuser in the face while I said “no more”, was the most terrifying thing I had ever done. But I’m free now. Freedom is possible & don’t let them make you believe it’s not. Even after, there will be days that might feel like they still have control, but they don’t. We are some of the strongest people on the planet, whether you are still in it or have escaped it. Remember that. We stand together, & we are not alone

One year ago today, I officially self published my book, “Intertwined” ⭐️📖

This story is so much more than just words on a couple pages to me. It’s about friendship, love, pain, & survival. It’s about finding strength when you’ve been broken, overcoming an abusive relationship, & realizing that fate has a way of bringing us back to who we’re meant to be & bringing back the ones most important to us. That love will always find a way.

This has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I made one of my wildest dreams come true. The support, encouragement, & love I’ve received this past year, means more to me than I can ever put into words. To everyone who has read it, shared it, or connected with it; thank you.

Tuesday, I will be starting college for 2 years to obtain a degree in Video Production. This means I may not be able to upload at the fastest rate like I usually try to. I normally aim for at least two episodes a week. I'm not entirely sure what the rate I will be able to upload at, but I'm hoping I can still create episodes & upload like I usually do. But no matter what, I will continue to produce episodes & continue creating my KH machinimas. This is one of the main reasons I wanted to go back to school was so I could create & produce better content, so rest assured I will be doing this for as long as I possibly can. It's going to be difficult between all my personal responsibilities, producing content & going to school but I'm confident in myself that I can do it. I really do put everything I've got into creating these & I love doing it!

This is a HUGE leap I am taking because I was never the kid who excelled in school, & I despised it. The only classes I ever cared about or did good in was English & Computer Graphics (Go figure). But part of the reason I found the confidence & the motivation to go back to school is because of everyone here & my online communities. I would've never made it as far as I have if it wasn't for everyone! So I want to give a thank you to everyone that has supported me! I hope that as the next 2 years roll by, improvements will be seen in my content 💖🥰

Next thing, I am currently in the process of finishing "Eternal". I am hoping by the end of next week, it will be finished & then we can move onto my next series! As always, I'd prefer to let you guys choose which series you'd like me to do next! Both trailers for "Love Rehab" & "Element" are uploaded to my channel, so you can decide which one to vote for. "Love Rehab" will be a romantic comedy, & I got the idea when I was watching the movie "Couples Retreat". So, it's inspired by that movie & I will use little bits & pieces from that movie into this series. "Element" will have a more serious & dramatic tone to it. This one is inspired by the show, "Charmed". Both series will include the smut, per usual 😏😉

As far as "Intertwined: Make it Right" goes, I really have to be in the right head space for that one. Because "Intertwined" was about my own personal life & experiences, sometimes it's really hard for me to go back & revisit my past. It's actually amazing I got through writing the first series & the book, but it was very painful to do so for me. So once, I am in a place that I feel I can handle revisiting that then I will go back to it. But I've been in a really good place mentally & emotionally lately, & I just don't want to do anything at the moment to send me right back into self loathing & regret.

This is a glimpse into my story. It starts with charm, the smiles, the promises, the perfect picture. But then it quickly turns into bruises, isolation, & silence. The first slap was only the beginning. The moment I decided not to ask my best friend for help, the moment I left school, my friends, & the life I knew behind because I was told to. The years that followed involved getting married, raising kids, & losing myself more & more every day.

But what saved me was my friends. They showed up when I finally reached out. The people who reminded me of who I was when I couldn't recognize myself anymore. The people who helped me find my way back to the light, freedom, & peace.

This features some of the events in my book "Intertwined", where I share the full story. Writing it was part of my healing, & my hope is that it might help someone else know they're not alone & that escape is possible. Messy, but possible & worth it.

"Intertwined" is inspired by real life events that happened to me; my trauma, my healing journey & the connections to people in my life, which had also inspired my Kingdom Hearts/Sims machinima series of the same name.
