UNDERTALE 2nd Anniversary and ALARM CLOCK Development

Well, it has been two years now.

I would like to announce that we have started working on the UNDERTALE ALARM CLOCK APP FOR IPHONE/ANDROID. Me and my friend Chess are working on it in our spare time.

Basically, it’s a barely-functioning Alarm Clock app, where a few of the characters from UNDERTALE will set your alarm for you.  (Actually, I highly discourage using it as an Alarm Clock, and take no responsibility for what happens if you do.)

However… it’s not only an Alarm Clock! You can interact with these characters in some simple ways and read a little bit of dialogue from them. This dialogue is pretty similar to the Q&A in terms of tone: Not very important, but pretty fun.

Since it’s just a minor project, development is really slow. There’s no specific release date. I’d say “hopefully 2018,” but if it ends up taking way longer, it wouldn’t be too shocking. No idea on pricing either…

Because there’s no Q&A this year, I’ll leave you with some snippets of character dialogue from the project behind the cut. Hopefully you can figure out which character is which…!

chapter 6

im too deltarune pilled to be normal uhhhhh some thoughts on what I think chapter 6 could be like

I really feel like chapter 6 is gonna be “escapism through denial of reality”, like once Noelle learns about the dark worlds she’ll take control and create her own dark world to try and save her dad, with how Noelle in the weird route talks about wanting to change, with wanting to take control of her life but always being too afraid to do so, with feeling like she’s just walking down a set path, and while in the weird route we give Noelle a false sense of the freedom and power she’s been craving, forcing her to confront her trauma in the most unhealthy way possible, I feel like in the normal route we would help her confront her trauma in a more healthy way, with an actual support system (like hey maybe Berdly, Catti and Jockington join us in the dark world idk), help her confront reality

and then I also feel like that would clash with Susie, whose life is probably so fucking shitty that she actively chooses to indulge in fantasy and escape reality, something Noelle could never do because while she does want to indulge in fantasy, she’s always been pulled back to reality in some way (Rudy falling down, and on a better note just being with Susie), while Susie keeps indulging in it, so uhhh idk I think they’d clash there, like Noelle and Susie would both believe escaping to a dark world could be a solution, but by the end Noelle would realize it’s not the right solution, while Susie might still try to indulge in it, couples first big fight idk
