Just a medic trying to not drive this band-aid box off a bridge. My therapist said I should talk about some of the calls I ran, so here we are.
[Hey, Krex here. Disclaimers: I do actually work in EMS irl for a rural/Metropolitan county in NC. I wanted to make a story telling account both of actual calls I've run and made up things featuring cryptids and the supernatural. Obvious or not, they will be marked. But this is, you know, for fun! Every story and answer will be in character unless you see red colored text. There will be descriptions of gore, illnesses, scenes, smells, and so on that I have actually experienced in my time in EMS. It will be in as much or as little detail as I deem fit for the story. That being said, this is your warning (outside of tags) that there may be disturbing topics that you may find triggering or upsetting. Some of the most dead dove stories I have are from actual calls I have run. While some of the characters and circumstances are made up, the trauma is not. If there is a cw/tw I missed tagging, don't hesitate to call me out so I can fix it. This is supposed to be cathartic and fun and maybe satisfy some curiosity. That's all, happy dreaming.]
