I feel like there was some kind of IC post I was going to do on here, but I completely forgot what it was after getting distracted more than once.
I love how my brain works sometimes
Then again, maybe the definition of 'remaster' has come a long way. Because I remember when the PS3/Xbox 360 would have remasters of games from the PS2/Xbox. The only thing they could really do is make the textures higher resolution. Now it's just like. Actually changing the models, doing all sorts of added post-processing, lighting, and what not.
It's honestly crazy how many companies can just throw a game from the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube generation into UE5 or something, and whatever they do to remaster it. The end result is 'You sure this Godzilla game originally came out in 2002?'
Like, I was ALIVE during that time. I've actually played Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox games on their original hardware. They didn't look like this.
Tekken with Final Fantasy DLC characters: Weapon Fighters who don't really fit the general vibe of it being Bamco's martial arts series. Capcom, an intellectual: Hey, you can have a Final Fantasy DLC character that doesn't break the general vibe.
"If it makes anyone feel better. I've destroyed worlds and people still find me sexy."
Me: Can already confess to Iroha
Also me:
But look at this face, this is the face of someone who should be loved too.
Also me x 3: WHY IS THERE MORE THAN ONE GIRL THAT ACTIVATES MY NEURONS?!
"I can't believe that Sephiroth guy would have the audacity to plagiarize that witch horse girl's ability to summon meteors."
Also a Gundam game looks more Armored Core-ish.
Kekw. Square-Enix wasted BARELY any time after releasing Rebirth on the remaining platforms to announce the last part to the trilogy.
Man, Guardians of Azuma really cooked with the husbandos and waifus. Though, the story progression makes it so I can already confess to Iroha, but I've barely started working on Pilika's affinity.
"Looks like I was the first to log in. Hopefully the others don't take too long. Last time I couldn't wait and I already went exploring. I didn't cross paths with them for over an hour." He smiled, gazing around the wasteland. "For supposedly this VRMMO using its own tech, doesn't feel much different than other Full-Dive games. I think the company, Apophis Industries, called it GodLink? Curious name for it."
"Oh well, I can probably stand around for another fifteen minutes. Before the urge to explore is simply too much. I made sure everyone got beta invites, so hopefully there won't be any issues that'll take longer than that."
Tmw you go for a walk during sunrise, and your shadow has longer legs than a Sailor Moon character.

"Hmmph, if we had fans so big as to be sufficient for that task, then they would probably be powerful enough to blow the students away. They're just going to have to rely on their sweat, too. Or perhaps scarves or bonnets, old-fashioned methods like those." Groove sighed. "We may as well go watch them."
Rudolf would let out a giggle. "I suppose I haven't thought of that detail. Don't need us and the other students getting blown away." She'd say with a small sigh. "Sure, let's go watch them. At least it will distract us from having the heat being the only thing on our mind. For a bit, anyway." She'd take another sip of her sports drink, before walking over to the academy's race track with Groove. She'd take a seat in the nearby stands, some of the students that had been chosen for the training races already gathering.
"At least the sweat is cool..." Groove let it sit on her face for a moment before wiping it off. "There's not much to do today, is there? I think that the weather is making me feel lethargic..."
Rudolf would wipe the sweat from her own face, before grabbing a sports drink. Taking a few sips of it. "Well, there was some training races that were supposed to happen today. Though, all the girls that were meant to be in them said they were feeling lethargic as well. I don't blame them, part of me wants to see if we have any giant fans around. Then see if I can't put in a spot where I can take a nap next to it."
"So hot today... so much for the rainy season, for it hasn't come yet. At least then this humidity would be bearable. How are you holding up, President?"
Symboli Rudolf was fanning herself a little. A few drops of sweat trickling down her own brow. "You have a point, some rain actually sounds heavenly right now. Instead of the humidity sucking all of the moisture from our bodies, in this blasted heat." She replied, giving a faint smile. "As for myself. I'd say I'm fairing just as much as you."
