I did it for the kids, for the younger siblings and for the fans. But they still gifted me the jersey anyways! My heart goes out to this team! I haven’t felt more connected to a team than this year!! Thank you for giving me the chance to make these memories and for the opportunity to create these memories for your amazing kids! I heard from someone during the season that the days I wasn’t able to make it to a game to suit up the kids would say “awww man there’s no Forecheck today??? Now we’re gonna lose!!!” That stuck with me and I felt awful every time I couldn’t be there. Made putting in the suit worth it! Based on their record this year the def didn’t need me there to win game that’s for sure!!
