"Hey so it turns out that the people of earth accidentally did a global experiment to see if every individual could course correct climate change through mass personal change of habits, and it turns out, no! We can't! It was massive corporate activity all along!"

I’m so tired of y'all posting people’s art with no credits. Her name is Dain Yoon and she is an amazing artist who deserves credit. Post with credit or don’t post at all.

Me, shooting awake: what if Ty Lee was a descendant of an escaped Air Bender. That would explain why she has grey eyes when the rest of the Fire Nation appear to have either yellow, gold, or brown eyes. When Hama escaped from the prison as a Southern Water Tribe Waterbender, she stayed in the Fire Nation, so who's to say that some Air Benders survived and also blended in with the different nations to survive.
Ty Lee was extremely agile and it almost seemed as though she's aided by air with how light and floaty she is in some moves she does throughout the series. It could be very possible and very canon that she is an Airbender descended from one of these Air Nation survivors and didn't say anything because she herself didn't know it, only her great great grandfather or grandmother did. Maybe she's the only surviving Airbender in her entire family and that's why she never noticed too, because nobody else would have been suspicious and looked out for any signs of Airbending in the rest of the family.
Maybe that's why she joined the circus, why she wanted to seem different, and why she was so bright all the time too - because Airbenders have great senses of humour and fun. They also deflect a lot, which Ty Lee also seems to do when Azula, or even some boys are involved... she was a peace keeper between Mai and Azula right up until one's life was threatened by the other and she had to act. Maybe she was a fucking Airbender without realising it herself...

Also she and Aang have similar skin undertones and nose shape! I always noted that, but didn't actually connect the dots there
someone write a fic where Aang asks Ty Lee how tf she managed to airbend and Ty Lee just goes how did i WHAT
Prompt: the ideological opposite of a catgirl.
so, a catgirl is a human woman who has taken on certain traits of the cat, which is a housepet known for its temperament - it is affectionate when it chooses to be, but it must choose to be. the appeal of the catgirl is the implication that the woman has decided, much like a cat, that the viewer is worthy of affection. thus the ideological opposite would be a feral creature that is known for being tame except for when it is provoked. countless examples of this exist in nature, so to narrow our options we will select one which is generally considered “scary” as a parallel to the “cute” cat, as is also as far away as viable from a cat. as an extremely social invertebrate, compared to the relatively solitary and spined nature of the housecat, i believe the hornet is the perfect choice; despite popular belief hornets are not aggressive unless and until they are given a reason to be.
then there is the fusion of cat and girl. the catgirl takes the “cutest” and most traditional elements of the cat - ears, tail, and whiskers - and assembles them onto the girl. thus, our inverted catgirl ought to take the most disturbing and detestable elements of the human and assemble them onto the hornet. for this exercise i will propose the spine (deformed due to our bipedal nature compared to most creatures), the chin (a structure that no other animal possesses), and the penis (for obvious reasons).
thus, we can safely conclude that the ideological opposite of the catgirl is
