Love/Hate

4 days ago I pulled out my Spike Lee collectors set so I could watch Do the Right Thing and yesterday I learnt that one of the most prominent characters in the film, Radio Raheem (played by Bill Nunn), passed away. That movie came out 27 years ago which is wild. RIP Radio.

Today’s brunch. A deep fried poached egg served on a buttermilk biscuit with aged cheddar and bacon. Bruh. I highly recommend the Stockyards Smokehouse on St. Clair Ave. West for my fellow carnivoires and foodies. One of my favorite spots to eat in the city!

In my attempt to set up a new blog through WordPress (I am answering my call to write), I ran into some challenges. Exhale. And, instead of giving up, I was redirected to Tumblr so that I wouldn’t. So, here I am. Not sure how this is going to work out tbh, however, I am curious and open to discovering what I can create here. Until I figure things out, you can expect to see random posts and pics (some of which are sure to be deleted if they don’t fit with my vision) until I find my flow.
