Fire Salts 🔥

Inspired by the recipe from Skyrim.

Ingredients:

Cayenne pepper

Cinnamon

Chili powder

Sea salt

Instructions:

Combine ingredients and grind together until you have a fine powder

Uses: 

Use in spells for protection, defense, energy, manifestation, and power.

Use to represent the element of Fire.

@stargvsm oh no! 😅😅I made my own recipe even different from the additions i did a year ago, but yours helped inspired me🙏🏽 Skyrim has plenary of spell items that are worth adapting into the real world so the idea someone else out there does pop culture magick made me feel like i wasn’t alone.

Ok. So this popped up in my feed yesterday and I have feelings…

What are your thoughts? I think she’s right in that its wrong for married 40 year old men to enter into relationships with 15-18 year old students, but that’s not what the tcc is.

It’s a place for us to share these thoughts when we’re too scared to tell anyone else in our lives. It’s a place where we can meet people who feel the same sense of frustration and constriction that we do. Most of all, it’s a place for us to feel like our crush is okay and to not be ashamed of these feelings that have unwillingly come over us.

A lot of us aren’t sex-crazed “homewreckers” trying to seduce our teachers. A lot of us are just figuring out who we are and what we’re looking for in life. So what if we look up to our teachers? Or have crushes on them? As far as I know, that’s normal?? I get it: the more outspoken tccers are the ones who claim to act on their feelings and post about meeting up/going on dates… But the majority won’t ever reveal their feelings because even if we do have crushes, we care about our tcs and don’t want them to get hurt.

Personally, I could almost like her channel. She’s funny and witty and her vid esp on incels is well-handled and original. But idk, I don’t think she truly covered all aspects of the tcc. We are multifaceted and here for different reasons, so I feel as if giving the impression that we are just “crazy teenage girls” is a little offensive and not accurate to the group as a whole.

(update) And the worst part is the aftermath of the vid. The comments section alone is gross; there’s just thousands of people calling us disgusting, people coming to the blogs named in the video… Most everyone on here is afraid of being discovered irl because we know it isn’t considered normal to have these feelings - we just want a safe space to talk about them. And for others to call us out for… I’m not even sure what we’re doing wrong, honestly. We just run blogs about having crushes. The majority aren’t even NSFW or kink-blogs or anything.  It’s gross that grown adults subscribed to her are coming after teenage girls because we had the audacity to develop unreciprocated feelings for another human being…

Look, adults wanting to have a sexual relationship with minors isn’t okay, but after checking this community out I see that you all know that. You’re not wrong or dirty or messed up for liking older men. You’re just not. One of the first things I saw when I checked out this tag because of her video was a pledge to respect the lives and boundaries of the teachers people crush on. It is okay to explore your sexuality and romantic feelings in a healthy and legal way that does not hurt anyone. You’ll age into adults soon enough. Figure out how you feel. It’s okay.

Things I wish I knew about tarot when starting

(Feel free to correct or add to this!)

•Reversals aren’t opposites. While some read them that way, many cards mean similar things reversed.

•Court cards don’t have to mean a person. Queens can mean creation, Kings can mean athourity, pages can be messages, and knights can be travel.

•Readings are more accurate when you do them for yourself.

•When a card falls out when you are shuffling, that card is very important. Don’t ignore it.

•Cards influence other cards more than you may think.

•It’s ok if you’re interpretations of cards are different than most. Everyone reads differently.

•Start out with small spreads.

•Color is very important.

I want my grandkids to use my grimoire

As I work hard on this project getting down all the information that’s important to me, I can’t help but hope that one day one of my grandchildren will say something like “We need to find grandma’s grimoire.” That’s the ultimate dream. To pass down my magic and my knowledge.

Witchling 101 - Grimoires

Welcome to the first post in a series called Witchling 101, detailing the Sardonyx Sisters’ advice for baby witches. For budding witches, information can be hard to come by, so we hope this helps any witchlings who need it. Let’s begin!

Grimoire. The dictionary definition is “a book of magic invocations or spells”. To us, this is more accurately described in a Book of Shadows. We will explain the difference here in a bit. We define grimoire as a journal to write down notes, spells, and your own information. Your own information would be things like your personal sigils, writing down witchy things you do, and deities you might worship. Notes could be information about deities you might worship, or simply how to do things. For instance, Poppy and I had to refer to our grimoires for months when casting circles. It’s a helpful resource.

A Book of Shadows is a place to keep your spells or spells you’ve found online. While your grimoire can also contain these things, a BoS is more specific towards spells than a grimoire might be. Having a Book of Shadows is completely optional. You may opt to having just a grimoire, as I do.

A grimoire is personal to you. While you may want to share a grimoire with others in your coven or simply your other witchy friend, it is wise to have one of your own to record your own personal experiences and your own research. You can also customize it and make it as pretty as you want, as Poppy has. You can even create your own script to put in it! Your grimoire is yours to personalize. Everyone’s is different and just as beautiful.

Speaking of other’s Grimoires, it is common to be discouraged by how pretty others’ Grimoires are, especially in witchblr. It is important to remember that a grimoire is not meant to be pretty, even though you may wish it to be that way. It’s meant to be sprinkled with salt from a spell, accidentally scorched from a misplaced flame, and have all the hard grit you’ve worked with as a witch! Don’t feel down by those Grimoires. Yours will be just as pretty in time.

*waves* Hi. So, one, yeah, apologies for that. It probably doesn’t help much, but we’re sick of it too, which is one of the reasons this blog got started. As the icon/name might imply, we’re mostly focused on Odin- but he does tend to shimmy his way into most of the mythology, so a lot of our stuff is really just general Norse. The reading list and resources page should have some stuff for you (along with the FAQ, though that’s definitely more Odin-centric), and any page or site linked here gets combed over for that kind of bullshit, so that should help.

Other than the Tumblrs and websites we have listed, @valkyriesquad is a list of safe Heathen and Norse blogs vetted by moderators, so you’ll probably have good luck finding some people there, too.
