The thing about change is that you have to let things and people go. I’ve learned that letting things go does not have to be a loss. Find the ones who make you smile. Like, actually, genuinely smile. The ones who will just show up at your door with your favorite food or text you something they saw because they thought of you. The ones who listen to your goals and want to see you flourish. They exist. You just have to be open to change. I get a lot of messages about people saying their friends don’t support their new lifestyle, or make them feel bad about their choices. Friends should be the ones helping you out of darkness, not the ones turning out the light. I am eternally grateful for the support of the athletes and mentors I have come to know this past year. Just finished a fucking tough leg workout. Currently the heaviest ive ever been and holding more body fat than i ever have… which to me means this bulk is going successfully.
