Jimin was surprised by the use of the phone but he did not question it. There’s a number of reasons she could’ve done so and he thought it may be rude to ask. Leaning forward, Jimin read off the words that made the corners of his lips turn down. “No unfortunately. I’m just their neighbor. I’ve seen them walk around my street a few times but I’m not sure if they have an owner. They look kind of skinny so I’m starting to think they may be a stray.”
“Well they are cute, aren’t they? I guess we both got mesmerized.” He smiled, dropping the piece of chicken in his hand so the cat can enjoy it for themselves. Jimin stood back up and dusted off his hands. “I could stay here all day with them, but I probably shouldn’t. Though, I did follow them for a couple blocks I’m not exactly sure where I am anymore.”
“Me? Oh no no.” Jimin shook his head immediately. That responsibility is not something he could even consider. The poor cat would spend all day locked up in a room without anyone. They’d have their bowl ready with food, maybe one of his friends drop by to feed and play with them, but ultimately, their life would be in the confinements of his small apartment. If this cat is a stray and is used to strolling through the lengths of these streets, it would drive them insane. No matter how sweet it was, he knew that his job and activities wouldn’t be fit for giving the creature the proper care. “They would hate my box of an apartment.” He explained, smiling easily at the girl. Truthfully, he found it sweet that she was considering taking them home. The days were getting colder, at least he’d know the cat wasn’t freezing in the snow. Shaking the bag towards the girl, he offered her to feed the cat. “Plus, I don’t think they like me that much. They just know it’s smart to take a bribe. Want to try?”
ever since arriving in washington, elle had been on the edge. but at the same time, it was a place where she could finally breathe at long last. though allie had provided desperate relief to the girl, that had only been short-lived, and she’d soon found herself living far within the boundaries of fear once more, with added burdens shifted upon her. the stakes had been higher the second time around. she didn’t just have herself to look out for, but the likes of allie, who she’d made a silent promise to. silent survival had become her thing during new ham, after all, she’d gained a skill in the subtelty of it. feeing on the edge, she’d sought out one thing soon enough, that being a dog, so named charlie in honour of her temporary pet she’d taken under her care. she’d always been more of a dog girl, than a cat girl, and so her head shook as she took a step back, tensing up a little. “no, they’re not- might be a stray. but it’s always nice to see others taking care of them” she commented, attempting a curl of lips small, though that felt a rare sight to stem from her at times.Â
Jimin dropped the food, continuing to pet the cat behind their ear as the cat ate up, happy to let down their guard for a moment to be fed. There was peace he found in cats. They were rather gentle creatures in his mind; soft, lazy at times, the best pet to hold. Yet, with his schedule, he could not give it the attention that they deserved. So here he was, making friends with the local cat. It kind of helped with the feeling of coming home without one. “I’ve seen this guy a couple times, but I never had food with me.” Smiling as the cat lifted their head so that he could scratch underneath its chin. “This time I made food so I’d be prepared. I felt bad...It’s so skinny.” Looking back at the girl, he asked, “Do you like cats?”
“Then, were you curious to meet them too?” Jimin asked easily, positioning himself so she could see the white and black feline better. He’d seen this cat around his neighborhood and specially prepared this meal for them. Today was the day he’d formally meet the cat, and he wondered if she too had a similar experience. “They’re cute, aren’t they? I would take them in if I could.”
Jimin laughed at the very expressive, very silly face on the boy. The pout was noticeable and a little bit exaggerated but Jimin found it amusing all the same. Lifting his hand with the chicken, Jimin moved it towards the boy so that the cat’s gaze would follow it and eventually land on him. He considered it some reprieve--maybe it would brighten him up. “Here,” he moved the other’s hand so it was palms up and placed the half-eaten chicken on it. “If they’re not your cat friend, they are now. They have to be after you fed them lunch.”
Jimin’s heart was softened by the concern. He wasn’t that used to strangers starting conversations--let alone worried over him. Might be to quick to say but he thought she must have a good heart. “Not a scratch on me yet. They don’t look too vicious,” he cooed, dropping the chicken so the cat could dive down and eat the rest, and he could pet behind their ear. Turning his gaze towards the girl he lifted up his bag of chicken. “You want to try feeding them?”
A ziplock bag of cooked chicken hit the side of his thigh as he walked slowly towards the outdoor cat. Jimin had been following this pet for several blocks now and admittedly, he wasn’t sure what street he was on anymore. Repeatedly clicking his tongue on the roof of his mouth, he took out a piece of chicken and crouched down. “Ah, now that I have food you want to come,” he teased as the cat finally stopped running and cautiously approached him. It wasn’t long after the cat had started eating that Jimin noticed a person’s shadow covering them both.“Oh, hi! Are they yours?”
she waved his apology off “no, no. it was my fault completely. i should’ve been paying attention— here” moving over to pick up his bunch of colored pencils “you draw? any good?” asking the most obvious question on the planet. “yeah, i’m okay. a little scrape hasn’t stopped me yet” chuckling lightly to herself. “i’m esme, you are?”
“Uh me? No not at all.” He smiled brightly, bowing his head shortly in thanks as he received the colored pencils. “I dabble a little. Nothing that great. This is for my class, they’re the real artists.” His fingers played with the rubber band, his nerves getting better of him briefly. Then his eyes naturally fell to her knee, wanting to see for himself how bad the scrape was. The thought that she may be brushing off the damage lingered in his mind. “I’m Jimin. Please, let me know if it stings. I have a first aid kit at my job that might help with the healing. I’m a professional at taking care of scrapes. It’s not on my resume but it should be.“
“correct me if i’m wrong,” though he works incredibly hard to hide the fact even when he was. “but i believe that sign says keep off the grass. it’s a serious offense to disregard a stern warning. i wouldn’t know the penalty for such a crime, but i’ll bet it’s hefty. you sure you want to risk it?” cole attempted to maintain a serious expression throughout his observation. his mask was beginning to crack and a sneaking grin could be seen curling at the corner of his mouth. he could have asked what they were doing, who were they, did they need any help, but where was the fun in that?
“Are you going to turn me in?” Jimin quipped, a shadow of a smirk rising at what felt like a challenge. Jokingly, he took a quick look around as if searching for the authorities, “I don’t see anyone around so....I think I’ll be safe if we keep this between us.” It would do him no harm to simply gather up his camera equipment, roll up his headphones, and leave the grass. He could shoot what he wanted to at any location, and if he had noticed the sign earlier, he wouldn’t have dared to consider breaking the written rule. But, doing that would be a lot less amusing than messing with this guy who clearly was trying to mess with him.
“i think i need to sleep…or i think i need more coffee. you got any coffee?” alexander looked up, hair wild and bags under his eyes as he blinked at the other. “and food. some of that greasy stuff. i’ve been writing all night and i don’t see myself slowing down so i need a boost and it’s down to you.”
“No not really on me...at the moment. I could get you some though. Or...” Jimin dug into his navy blue drawstring bag and pulled out a box of gum. “It’s a little kick of sugar, but it might help?” He handed a stick of spearmint to the tired boy. Clearly whatever he was writing made for a rough night and it got the better of Jimin’s curiosity. “What were you writing? Do you have a deadline to meet?”
esme was taking in all the sights. she loved living in washington. growing up here was probably the best, the people here were friendly.. the sun was shining and she had a decent job— esme didn’t end up graduating but that didn’t slow her down. she was too caught up in the sights that she knocked into someone and fell on the ground. “oh my god, i’m so sorry dude!”
“Whoa!” Jimin looked down at the girl he caused to fall. The colored pencils he had in his hand fell along with her but to his luck he remembered to wrap a rubber band around them so it hadn’t made that large of a mess--albeit, a loud thump did follow it. “I’m sorry,” he interrupted in his hurry to correct his mistake. Two bad impressions in one meeting. A record, he’d sourly note. Quickly he reached out a hand to her. “Ah, sorry again. This isn’t my best first impression. Are you alright?”
WAS that [PARK JIMIN]? Oh no no, that was just [PARK JIMIN], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [BTS WORLD: ANOTHER STORY]. They are [TWENTY THREE] years old and [ARE NOT] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long!!
how long has your character been here
Jimin has been here for two years and lives with a constant knot in his stomach. Though he tries to talk himself into being content with living in DC, he feels like he hasn’t lived his life to the fullest. There’s a dull awareness that comes to him every morning that there are people and events missing in his life but he can’t figure out who or what.
what is your character's job
In this world, he was given the memories that his grandmother had passed away and the shop that she had run in Busan for a number of years with no days off closed shortly after. Jimin tried to keep it open for a few months but with her passing, less and less customers stopped by the store, and soon Jimin lost the motivation to keep it open. His parents knew how much losing his grandmother pained their son so they sent him to Washington with his old dance crew.
While in Washington, he still couldn’t find the energy in him to keep doing the things he used to love, but what DID help him was choreography. Teaching not just his dance crew but local kids how to dance.
Jimin is now a dance instructor at a dance studio he rents out for his classes. It’s self-made with the help of his dance crew mates when ends don’t quite meet.
where has your character been pulled from in their fandom
He has no awareness of him ever doing so, but he was pulled when he had formed the perfect solution for saving his grandmother’s rice cake shop. The end of chapter four because the game decided that’s as far as I can go right now -__-
has any magic affected your character

Parker let out a small chuckle, watching his best friend with a soft look on his face. He took a sip from his latte, swinging one of his legs over the other as he leaned back into his seat. “You’re the one who wanted to be a teacher,” Parker pointed out with a grin. “At least you don’t work at a hospital where you’re either on call for days at a time or non-stop working for weeks.”Â
Elijah was certain he was over Parker but there was a still a dull jump when he heard the familiar soft chuckle. He was sick of those dull jolts. “It was a short-sighted...I’ll admit.” Elijah joked with a dramatic sigh. He took a sip of is drink before leaning his weight on the back of his chair. “Ooh. On call, non-stop working? Sounds tough. I wonder who made you choose that route. Oh wait, weren’t you the one who wanted to be a nurse?” He teased with a small smile that broke out into a wide grin--he was much too pleased to throw his words back at him.Â
“ Y’know, I commend you for being a teacher, not many people can do it without wishing for imminent death from sleep deprivation and dealing with little assholes, ” Kai started with a positive tone, leaning back in the chair opposing the other with one arm overstretched and resting on his head, his other hand holding onto his iced Americano and sipping it. “ But, I wouldn’t last a damn day with a schedule that requires me to wake up before ten am. ” he was quite thankful that the tattoo shop didn’t open until after one in the afternoon. “ I pity you and your damned schedule. “
“I kind of find those little assholes fun to deal with. They have silly problems or silly videos to show me. And when they are being a little extra, I learn some really good comebacks.” Elijah smiled easily, dipping his head down to watch himself twist and turn the straw. His eyebrows furrowed as he tried to remember what job the other had. He should know this. He probably did. He was definitely too tired to find the energy to remember. “No? What route did you take. It’s slipping my mind.” His smile was soft but a corner lifted in an ever-subtle mischievous manner. “You could take pity on me next time by buying my coffee.”
