A lot happened in the season finale of Cloudward ho, but one thing I can't seem to get over is that PASS THE PARCEL ISN'T A UNIVERSAL EXPERIENCE!!??

Me, decides to read some of my old writing for fun.

I'm reading my old fanfics and realizing how many continuity errors there actually are and can't believe that nobody noticed.

had a weird dream that the sky intrepid heroes were fighting something. pappy landed in front of a bad guy with his boots off and his smelly socks right in front of his face. the guy had to make a con roll and he died. because it was "canon" in the dream that Pappy had the worst smelling socks.

Van was also right next to Pappy, but there was a loose duke type character who stole something of hers, (that was extremely important), so she was running round the ship after him.

As an older sibling who also frequently doesn’t know what’s going on, Wealwell going back to back with Maxwell and saying, “And who the fuck are you?” to Comfrey is so meaningful to me. He definitely did not recognize Comfrey. But what he did recognize was that Comfrey was making his little brother uncomfortable, and he was going to do whatever he could to make Maxwell feel supported while insulting the person who caused that discomfort

I'm freaking out, I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going to be physically sick after this latest episode of cloudward ho. I'm sitting at work shaking. someone help

SPOILERS CLOUDWARD HO

I wasn't able to watch Cloudward Ho for about a month or more due to stuff in my personal life. I've been avoiding spoilers (Mostly quickly liking/saving posts for later without reading them). So, I do not know if this theory has already been out there. If it has, please link it or tag the post below.

This is my take after binge-watching from episode 4 to now.

My theory is that Ludmila is the Queen of Zern. I feel as though this is a slightly out-there theory. However, while watching the episodes, I kept on thinking the same thing. Ludmila could be the Queen of Zern.

We know that people can travel to Zood from Gath and land at different times periods. E.g., Lord Kensington and the Knights. Who's to say that Ludmila could've traveled back in time, as we know the Queen has been there for thousands of years? (Somehow lived that long?)

There are a few bits and bobs that I can not wrap my head around, though. She could've already been the Queen of Zern, as the Queen controls the Crow and Ludmila, and gone from Zern to Gath to get Marya. The first thing she did as Captain was "accidentally" Drive into the Crow to get possibly Marya to Zern/Zood?

2. We know with Olethra and her Mechs Interplaner Scanner that the Photo of Ludmila has this weird, dead energy to it. That may suggest, with Marya's reaction, that Ludmila was dead and she couldn't find her in Zood. However, we also know from cast/character discussions in episodes that you don't get the same reading on other dead things. What if it were a Zernian energy that it was reading? We know that the Straka bullets had their own energy, but that was with the intent of Marya writing them.

3. As well, with the photo, Brennen specifically asked when Olethra and Marya were talking/showing each other the photo. If it were a private discussion away from the rest of the crew. This could've been Brennen clarifying for the audience's sake of imagination. But what if there was someone in that scene of NPCs who would've recognized Ludmila?

4. We also know, because of Torse, that the Queen has her own army of Naughtomata machines that gave up their souls to become her mindless automatons. Who else would be good at tinkering with machines but an Artificer Protoge?

5. Another thing is that in the letter that Comfery wrote to Honch, 'How would Marya feel if she knew the truth about Ludmila'. That, along with the torn picture that Comfery had. Comfery knows something about her that Marya doesn't. What if she knew Ludmila was using Marya and stepped in that day to save Marya from something she could never know, as it would break her heart?

This theory is out there, I know. Has a few plot holes, like 'What would Ludmila's plan be?' 'Why does she want to do this?' 'Has she been waiting all this time?' 'Was she already the Queen?/Was she not?' Others that I can't wrap my brain around at the moment. However, I felt like I had to share it so other people may chime in with their thoughts on why it could be true or not.

i have a horrible dreadful feeling about comfrey 💔 all this talk about her and how great she was and then the little sprinkles of doubt about how Great she actually was… ntm the anticipation that pappy and olethra have about seeing her again!!!!

I've been thinking this as well!

It feels like everyone has rose-coloured glasses on, especially Olethra. When you are young, you tend to see the best in things, especially your family. That, along with Comfery leaving. The only semblance Olethra has of the grandmother she adores and holds so dearly to her heart. Is the novels. Which she is painted in (most likely) the best light possible.

However, when you're older, you tend to see things for what they actually are. Rather than what you thought they were. You tend to look back on memories and figure out stuff wasn't so peachy keen.

Plus, there are reasons why Hucth doesn't like to speak of his mother and why they are estranged.

Another thing with memories is that you favour the good over the bad. All the adventures when they're reminiscing on Comfery gravitate towards the amazing memories of the talented, brilliant Comfery. Rather than what she may have really been like.

Spoilers for cloudward ho

I have a few theories floating around in my head. One of them that won't go away.

I have this one that Zood is what people imagine it to be. That's why Brennan was asking everything to describe something. The nocturnal zebra, the mouse with big hands, the polar bear, the island of lost things, etc.

If I'm remembering correctly in the playback of the radio frequency, Comfrey says that it's; "Everything we imagined it could be." Referencing the possibility of Zood.

So, if Zood is everything, they imagined it to be. What if what they imagine this folklore place is that the imagination fuels its own existence.

How when Marya realize that Stracka possibly came from Zood. We know that in Scrapselvania, folklore states that Stracka is everything that has been discarded that has use will come back. Agian, folklore stories.

There is more technical stuff with the sextant and the clay/metal plack. The math, the Biangle. Everything else we know so far. But as soon as that scene came on of the notebook and everyone describing something they believed/imagined Zood to be. Alarm bells rung in my head.

(I was writing this as i was watching the episode and finally got to the end. I feel bad to myself if I don't post it. Considering what we now know)

Realistening to dndads seasons 2 and didn't understand why people were shipped Scary and Lincoln when I first listened.

Now, after a year of not listening to the show and it getting a refresh in my mind. I understand now. I have become enlightened The hype was correct.
