Parvati Patil Moodboard
He was sitting right behind Parvati Patil, whose long dark hair fell below the back of her chair.

he had instantly caught on that she was going to hug him, but instead of even letting her feel awkward, he reached for her hands, purposely putting them around his neck so he could lean in and hug her. it had just been so long and he hadn’t spoken to her in weeks, maybe even months. and it was now more than ever that he was cherishing his friends and thankful for them being alive. “that’s because it has been ages.” harry laughed, fixing the glasses on the bridge of his nose. “i was just getting hot chocolate, haven’t had one in a long time.”
Parvati wrapped her arms around Harry, burying her face in his shoulder. She’d missed him, she realized suddenly, in a way that took her by surprise. It made her breath catch and her eyes well a little.Â
“I’ll get you another. Go find us a table,” she said , smiling crookedly. “We should play catch up.”

daphne love anything that were sweet, and hence her high tolerance towards sweet stuff. the day started off on the wrong side with the girl waking up to a terrible headache due to last night’s party at one of her colleague’s and so she decided to take in some sugar to give her the energy. the queue was long and her patience was reaching her limit. “don’t tell me you don’t recognize the taste of chocolate,” she snickered, “you don’t have to buy me another one, just return my money back. i don’t want spend another twenty minutes here when i have important things to do.”
Parvati took a deep breath. Daphne Greengrass did not need to know how many ways someone could make a hot chocolate. She opened her eyes and smiled. “Of course. How much was it?” Her fingers dug in her work bag for the small purse of coins she carried. “I feel so bad, Daphne. I’m really very sorry.”
hevrtbreak:
 — her sight pulled up , landing on the other hogwarts alumni . it had already been eight months but there wasn’t a day that passed that she didn’t think about what exactly would it have been like to be in the battle of hogwarts . would she have been able to LIVE with what she’d seen ? & had she not been cowardly hiding in a private estate . “ hu - , oh I didn’t realize it was you , patil . ” she said , checking her watch before getting up , “ let me buy you a cup , as my apology for mistaken identity ? ”Â
Parvati fixed her fellow former student with a blank look. She could feel her spine stiffening under Millicent’s gaze. Eight months wasn’t quite enough distance for her, not just yet. “No. Thank you, though,” she said softly, fidgeting with the shoulder strap of her bag. “Maybe some other time.”

Astoria didn’t usually get sweet drinks. Tea was her go to, but every now and then she couldn’t help herself from craving something sugary. She had been waiting for a few minutes when she heard a voice next to her. She turned, facing Parvati for a minute, debating, before just shrugging. “Don’t worry about it. I probably shouldn’t have that much sugar anyway. You just did me a favor in that sense.” Plus, Astoria would feel kind of bad making Parvati buy her another drink. “I can just get myself something it’s really not a problem.”
Parvati furrowed her brow. Her teeth worried her lip as she fixed her gaze on the girl next to her. She didn’t seem familiar, but that didn’t mean anything. They hadn’t exactly gone to a small school.
“Are you sure?” Parvati asked, shoving her hands into her pockets. “I’m so sorry.”
♥ ooc;
let me know if you wanna plot something with parvati! i’ll be on for a lil bit tonight.Â

he raised an eyebrow at the familiar voice, turning to look with a small smile. he knew exactly who that was. “it’s fine, don’t worry about it, parvati.” harry shook his head, the genuinely happy look remaining. “how’re you?”
Parvati’s grin widened into something genuine. “Harry!” She made a move as if she was going to hug him, but thought better of it. She wrapped her arms around herself instead. “Please, let me buy you a drink. I feel like I haven’t talked to you in ages.”

Parvati had really just been hoping for a decent cup of coffee. She was exhausted from her work in the Time Room of the Department of Mysteries and all she wanted was the sweet relief of a hot, dark cup of coffee. So when she picked up the to-go cup with her name on it and took a deep swig, she almost gagged at the taste of too-sweet hot chocolate.
“I’m sorry, but I’ve accidentally taken your drink,” she said to the person waiting with her. “I’ll buy you another. What were you having?”
hevrtbreak:
— millicent sat just outside of the coffee shop , americano sitting in front of her in a dark colored mug . even with the chill that was just steps away ( thank merlin for the warming spell the shop owner had , allowing her to sit outside without freezing half to death ) millicent had already shed off her jacket . when she saw a shadow get near , she didn’t look up from her coffee , “ you’re late — not that that’s anything new . ”
Parvati stopped short in her tracks. She twitched an eyebrow and pulled a face. “Sorry, Bullstrode. Didn’t realize we had an appointment,” she drawled, moving past Millicent’s table to go inside and get her own cup of coffee.
ofronalds:
“ — but wait!! that’s the BEST PART.” a slightly intoxicated ron basically yelled throughout the bar, waving his hands around as he continued speaking to the bartender. “it’s like a cartoon, right? and they’re lions that can talk… but simba – the baby lion — the one i was telling you about? his dad dies. MUFASA DIES.” the bartender was only nodding at ron, clearly knowing exactly what he was referring to, but also not caring at all. “bloody hell, mate.. i cried and cried. it broke my heart — oh and i’ll have another one of these.” ron pointed to the bottle he was drinking from before pointing down the bar at someone else. he couldn’t make out who it was, but they looked familiar. “and get them a drink.. on me.”
“No, Ronald-” Parvati began, sighing into her hands. “Weasley. Poor Tom doesn’t care about The Lion King.” She swiped for the bottle, huffing when it was just out of reach. She gave a long-suffering look to Tom the barkeep, who seemed to be tactfully ignoring the scene in front of him. “And I certainly don’t need a drink. Neither do you, for that matter.”
