So happy I came to the Walk 2012 event for diabetes! In support for good health, exercise, and the greater cause of education. Our elders and youth alike are suffering from this disease and I support awareness!

Its better in this room anyway. Plus they serve Arabic coffee (which is very bitter, but less caffeine) and chai alib (milk). Its is CRACK!

Cultural Differences

Funniest thing... Showed up at a bank, Abu Dhabi International Bank, took a number and went to the "waiting area" to wait for my number. Suddenly over walks a security guard to escort me in the correct place 😳 Apparently, there is a woman's waiting area (hidden of course) because there will be no fraternization up in this bank in the UAE. Men will NOT sit beside women. Unless you are accompanied by your husband of course.

Scared shitless

Ever kept someone safe by keeping them at a close distance? I don't trust myself when it comes to matters of the heart. Im so fickle. When I choose, I choose people that I know it'll never work with. Now that I know it'll work and I'll have no excuse. I don't choose her. Im sure that makes me a coward.
