Tom cruise bipolar theory? 🤔
It’s a theory of mine in the way that evolution and germs are classified as theories
I wasn't alive back then, so can someone explain why people and mainly the media were so hostile over Tom Cruise jumping on a coach....like...he just jumped on a coach??? And they went ballistic on this guy just for being silly? I'm not referring to the culty context here, just the sole act of jumping, like i read comments on anti-TC vids and they're like "i knew he was evil the moment he jumped on the coach" like i don't like him either but what the actual what???? The Best part is that Tom took it in good spirit and jokingly referenced it like 3 times afterwards (that kinda suprised me lol) and I mean if it happened today with another actor it probably just go viral on stan twitter for 2 days before fading into obscurity....i hate american media, they see a c*l*b with an actual distinct personality and lose their minds...ok i'm just babbling now sorry
I know they smash their own faces with hammers and take drugs but the most insane thing looksmaxxers do is try to convince you that Tom Cruise was once ugly
1 month of my TC hyperfixation update: I just used my very limited craft skills to make a lil Tommy that's just ITCHING to ask me if i ever met a SP
Next up i wanna make a doll based of that 2004 letterman interview but i don't have purple felt, should i replace it with baby blue or fuchsia?
Btw i would NEVER call myself a TC fan, i'm more like a TC studier
Look i'm not a Tom Cruise fan but i've noticed that **SOME** of his haters tend to have this weird logic when it comes to age and victimhood, specifically how they'll tell you that katie holmes was at a "young, naive and impressionable age" at 25 (grown-ahh adult IMO) hence why she married Tom and had his kid in the first place despite the blaring red flags, but apparently 24 year old socially stunted dyslexic superstar Tom Cruise was in no way a victim when he joined the cult, nuh uh,..... i feel like i'm babbling but ya' get what i'm saying? Obviously some say Katie was forced into marriage but that's a different thing entirely
Also some people talk about cults like they're VIP clubs that you leave whenever you want, like no...
So this isn't really an ask but sort of a rebuttal to what one of the anons said about Tom Cruise's kids. His eldest actually has a relationship or is bettering her relationship with Nicole based on pictures of them together at the daughters art gallery showing. There are pictures of tom and his son Connor from a basketball game recently. And no one can say tom abandoned suri; there could have been something in the divorce agreement that stated he couldn't have contact with them until suri turned 18. Yes, hopefully one day he will leave scientology but that doesn't mean he's awful.
That’s good news re Nicole Kidman. Hopefully they can rebuild a relationship.
And yeah I’m also not convinced that him having no contact with Suri was his own decision. And, if it was, it might have been for her own safety. In any case, there’s likely much more to the story than we know.
I tried making felt plushies of Gigi Buffon(e), the one on the left is based off the 2001 Juventus tour of NYC, the other is Supergigi (parma-inter 1998)
Anyway i still hate that literal moron, hyperfixation is a strange thing am i right?
The biggest blunder in the history of Scientology was trapping the biggest movie star in the world. They should have stuck to people like Nancy Cartwright (very successful and wealthy but essentially anonymous to the average person). They got too cocky and went for the man with whom the whole world is parasocially obsessed.
Actually the REAL biggest blunder was that they did not let the biggest movie star on the planet leave (on the condition of his silence) when he tried to get out twice in the 90s.
That second time he left he was OUT—he had run for the hills when he was shown the space alien stuff and he cut them off and wouldn’t answer any calls, etc—but they let their hubris rule and they planted spies around him and in his circle to feed them info and make him paranoid so they could isolate him, entrap him, brainwash him, torture him worse than before.
And after they were done brainwashing him (through more hours of audits than any member in their history that leave him vomiting while their leader’s wife read the transcripts at parties to humiliate him) they told him to go out and proselytize (which he’s never done before he’s always been very private) and he does. And it went horribly. Which may have been their intention (isolate him even further) but it went beyond anything they could control. Because the world is obsessed with that man’s every move.
And now everyone has an opinion. Because everyone always has and always will have an opinion on anything to do with him. And so he has refused to say a word about it—or really anything about his personal life—in well over a decade (since 2008, really). Because we asked him to choose between them and movies and they underestimated how much he really does just want to make movies. Well done.
Do you think Tom will ever leave the cult? I absolutely hate the fact that this cult has cast a shadow over his entire career. The amount of hate he gets is astonishing.
He was so close to quitting in the 90s!! Makes you wonder what could’ve been…
Former executives of the cult who have since left have admitted that he has tried to leave multiple times over the decades and leadership (ie David and Shelly) put more effort into keeping him in there than any other member in their history including planting spies around him to report his every move, surveilling him and his family, separating him from romantic partners, putting him through hundreds of hours of audits, blackmailing him with whatever they got him to admit under duress during those audits, reading those transcripts at parties to humiliate him and keep him in line, threatening the safety of his children, and generally making him paranoid and isolated.
So, no, even if he wanted to leave he will never be *allowed* to leave publicly. I think the point where he’s at right now — where he never talks about it and hasn’t talked about it in well over a decade and is only seen at one event per year which is always the “everyone must attend or else” event — is the best it’s going to get, unless someone wants to raze Clearwater.
My new burden
Everyday someone on TikTok touts a “rumor they heard” as true and every time it’s something that can be traced back to an early 2000s copypasta
Everyone credulously walking around like “wow this super fantastical bit of gossip that made me feel some type of way enough to want to share it everywhere must be real” you are no better than your parents on Facebook reposting every AI image they see
Average comment on an anti-Tom Cruise video:
"I was never fooled by Tom!!! I remember even when i first saw him way back in that movie when he was playing that character who's a cocky lil sh!t who thinks he's irresistible,i was instantly able to see right through him and thought "this guy's a cocky lil sh!t who thinks he's irresistible" !!!!! i knew from the start!!!!!!"
Currently completing the self-imposed task of making a paper version of every jersey worn by Gigi Buffon (youth teams included), AND I LITERALLY HATE THAT MORON
Anyway here are the first 100 that i made:
As you can see i focused more on quantity over quality
I saw people making those cardboard dress-up thingies so i tried to make a Buffon(e) version, except that i can't draw and the handle broke...
First note: i don't draw faces
Second note: i don't love how it turned out but it's palatable and i'm very happy that i made it
Third note: i did not enjoy making it
Fourth note: i can't stand Gigi in the first place
It breaks my heart to know that i'll never see Buffon adjust his bobby pins on live TV 💔💔
(Buffon's interview with Cabinet magazine, Autumn 2005)
How former Italian footballers would be on a "eat or answer" type of show
(!!Sorry if anyone is OOC!!!)
Del piero:
Poor Alex doesn't want to speak ill of anyone (not on tv at least), so he essentially spends the whole episode eating.
Baggio:
while Robbie may seem like an easy victim for the host, he actually answers quite bluntly.
Maldini:
Paolo answers with the atmost class and professionalism, even when he eventually had to eat, he's still classy about it.
Gattuso:
Rino likes to be blunt and honest, but at the same time, he doesn't want to seem "weak" by avoiding the foods, so he's in a bit of a dilemma.
Totti:
Frá has no problem talking about others but doesn't like it when he's asked sensitive questions about himself, so ends up eating two or three things and he's visibly salty about it.
Pirlo:
Andrea seems as if he has been forced to be on the show, he answers everything, even after getting visibly upset at the host for asking such questions, he answers purely out of disgust of the food.
Buffon:
Gigi barely even looks at the plate (except to mock it), literally answers everything with well-put and convincing answers, and if there's something he doesn't want to answer, he'll simply lie, he'll avoid eating because he fears it'll make him appear shrewd, even though he'll internally want to try at least one food, just for the thrill of it.
