BAD OMENS AT INKCARCERATION FESTIVAL

Sometimes you get a brief glimpse into the American worldview and decide that you don't want to know.
I cannot stress enough that this meme is entirely literal. there's no reference or subtext you don't know. these are simply the objectively most popular works of art from each denomination.
via Seattle Times:
Local Ballard raccoon has been spotted thriving in a remarkably unique and charming body
Yes he(?)'s actually factually real and has even been given an extremely millennial nickname: Jimothy. Wildlife experts advise everyone to just leave him alone and let him live his life
"only 90s kids remember-" wrong, if you're poor and/or rural enough, old tech and fashion doesn't just disappear when it stops being trendy. We had dial-up until 2012

im incredibly conflicted by the phrase ‘the question is not who will let me but who will stop me’ because on one hand its so fucking raw and powerful but on the other hand it’s derived from ayn rand but on yet another hand the first and primary time ive ever seen it was on a picture of a lawnmower flying through the sky which is the perfect level of absurd and nonsensical that would piss ayn rand off
reblog to piss off ayn rands ghost
free use is kind of a funny kink bc it relies on the idea that everybody wants to touch you and have sex with you but what if they don't. what if you tell everybody at the party you're free use but they all ignore you and mind their own business

You'll pay us for everything and own nothing and you'll thank us for it
the post was about how people will exclude trans women even from discussion about the widespread systemic exclusion of trans women while pretending to do otherwise by including trans men in that discussion and see no issues with this even when the trans men they are including transparently and openly do not care about or are hostile towards trans women and despite the fact that trans men are mentioned the post is NOT ACTUALLY FUCKING ABOUT TRANS MEN

the scariest thing about old tv isnt really the racism or the sexisim because you kinda go in braced for that it's all the scenes where suddenly an actress is holding a lion cub or a chimpanzee is in the same room as a toddler, or suddenly theres a lion, or there's a chimpanzee again but it's driving a car, or holding a lighter, or holding fireworks. You just kind of watch in horror as over and over an actress performs with only 1960s tv film shootings best animal handling between her and the opening to Nope.
This is how I learn that the famous chimp my dad got my nickname from tried to kill Reagan. Fuck yeah.
the chimp (and film) also inspired this song about Reagan by The Damned
Film Summary: This depressed and lonely man, who is romantically attractive in a byronic way, with a dark past travels to an isolated but comfortably sprawling house surrounded by natural beauty in all directions. He hopes to find answers for himself and peace of mind - but he will instead uncover a mysterious supernatural force which threatens to destroy his world-
Me: He's dead and and hell isn't he?
Film: Noooo, it's a dark, mysterious secret, which he will have to peel back layer by layer until the terrifying truth is-
Me: Dead and in hell.
Film: He's dead and in hell! Muahahahaaa! Were you shocked by this dreadful twist?
Me: I... yeah. Fine. Scary, ooo. You got any queers back there?
Film: Sorry, no. But could I interest you in this genre defying story about a strong, independent woman, fleeing from dark forces-
Me: She's about to give birth to the antichrist and jesus angels are trying to kill her.
Film: COME ON, HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT?
