ok midnight bounce, last bounce of the night there is nothing else I can do right now or else my eyeballs will fall out. among other things I added some pandeiro. I forgot I'm obsessed with brazilian percussion and I finally have a context in which to use it that makes sense. kinda. I'm going to the farmer's market in the morning so I guess I'll listen to this on the bus ride up there and see if I still like it. file says I created it at 1:58pm. so this is basically all I've done since then. normal saturday.
since last time I've added another vox sample. this one is from one of my favorite Brazilian songs from the 60s. I've listened on my shitty bluetooth speaker and my laptop speaker (after mostly working in headphones) and adjusted levels. other mixing tasks. honestly appreciating my use of space here. as well as trusting my samples and the portuguese language lol. since I've started this I've bounced it 22 times

couple more hours of fucking around plus I walked the dog and scrounged enough food to keep me from passing out. so now it's at a nice length but there is still much to think through structurally. listening back it probably will get a decent bit longer. this is essentially stream-of-consciousness arranging. there is some more intentional transitioning that still needs to be done here ( ͡° ᴥ ͡°)
pretty minimal sesh. I manually dragged most of these vox samples around idk. lots of small timing nudges. most of them are not snapped to the grid. got some EQ automation and some delays. and phat fx of course, my beloved, for dirt and heft.

I had deleted my soundcloud awhile ago but recently decided to get back on it, because for me the point is just....have my things accessible in multiple places just in case. (apparently some people actually are On soundcloud. like listening to music on there. so ok!) but I hadn't yet gotten around to actually remaking the thing, because ugh. anyway was nawtttt...expecting to see this in my email today. literally what even the fuck is soundcloud.
