Cullen Rutherford isn't an ultimate evil you guys just hate addicts and victims of religious abuse and it shows. Sorry not sorry. The Chantry takes advantage of everyone. Templars are taken from their families as children just like the mages are. There is a systemic abuse of both mages and Templars that is Specifically Orchestrated to pit them against each other and keep the power structure in check.
You also love to forget that Cullen was 19 when physically and psychologically tortured by blood mages.

Also voice talent =/= character so holding Cullen accountable for Greg Ellis being shitty is stupid. Lol. It's fine if being unable to get passed the voice association gives you an aversion to the character but at least fucking admit that's a You Thing and stop acting like anyone who doesn't share the aversion must be a shit person.
I forget Greg Ellis even *exists* most of the time. I think more about Iron Bull being Fred Jones from the Scooby-Doo Movies than I do anyone else's voice.
