Thinking about Ej and Lazaris bond. That's his daughter fr fr. At the beginning of The Hollow's story ej is n extremely depressed young man. He hardly does anything or had any purpose other than just keep his body going to avoid going feral.

Then he finds Lazari. A small child passed out in the shallow creek with an arrow through her leg. A nasty wound no child should ever have.

So, he brings her home. Patches her up. When she wakes up he talks to her. And she talks to him like hes not very obviously a monster. He cooks for her, does Laundry, finds toys, and tells her stories. All things he used to do before his life was stolen from him. He has a purpose again. He allows himself to be ok again.

Thats her dad. Lazari knows who her father is, raised in a deadly cult formed to worship the destructive demon known as Zalgo. Shes always known that he was her father. That she was part of a bigger plan for his return to the mortal plane.

The whole time it was to eat her. To consume the power her body had yet to unlock. So she ran. She ran far into enemy territory full of monsters who'd kill her. Thats what the leader had said would happen. She wanders on a trembling leg for nearly a week, the only belongings being the white dress she wore and the Muddy stuffed rabbit she held tightly. Then she lost consciousness and woke up.. Warm.. Her leg carefully cleaned and wrapped in a bandage with a cozy thick blanket over her body.

Then she met Jack. He was quite, a bit tall compared to most people. Lazari could smell the familiar demonic scent if a zalgoid but. Jack wasn't a drone for a master. She doesn't know why but she let herself trust him immediately.

Theyre soooo father daughter to meeee. They're demonic instincts CRAVE that fucking pack bond and before either realize it Jack's is already claiming her as HIS baby and her happy cub brain is like holyy shittttt THIS is what being taken care of is??? I thought getting my hair brushed was the max people did for their kids and hes over here getting toys for me???

look at my work, boy. I made a playlist mainly just for me to help me a lot with getting back into the groove of fanfiction writing, but if this helps anyone else or is simply just something anyone else here would enjoy, then by all means give it a look. Most of the songs are straight from what I could find of the MCD soundtrack itself but for the final section (and one song in the 2nd section) I added in a lot of my own songs that I usually listen to whenever I’m writing MCD fanfiction, to help with the ~medieval fantasy mood.~ This took me multiple whole ass days to complete. I hope you enjoy lmao
