I really love your art. My dream and draw and inspire me more and more for them, but I haven't had a trigger yet. I don't know if Tumblr has gotten to a point where this is known enough , but most artists aren't too, or at all, confident about their work. It is weird and unfortunately way too common for artists of all levels.
You see something you worked on for hours and eventho on some good days you'd be proud, you have less confident on this particular day.
Maybe because you got problems with your skin or a bad grade or just a bad sleep and thus are prone to stress and self doubts.
And suddenly something you should like - drags you down. It's as if you look at an artwork and your mind changes it and instead of seeing all your progress, you see what it isnt only.
It's not what you had in mind while drawing and it's not the art style you seek to have one day.
And in addition, you take a deep breath, gather your Courage and left esteem, and you post it.
And then it happens. the reason that a lot talented artists get discouraged: no Support from others. almost no likes or reblogs and a sketch you did months ago Was more liked.
So hear me out lovely Anon, I wish more people would get such supportive messages.
Because it's not their art that causes lots to be unseen. It's the Timing of Posting and sheer luck.
Maybe the topic isnt trending, most Fandom loved Blog owners have stress and thus dont reblog or it's simply that the same artworks stays popular and thus New ones drown in the crowd.
I was one of the fortunate. eventho I have trouble drawing feet and hands and often am stuck, I have supportive people around me. I guess I came to the right franchise to the right time - but some others dont have this luck.
Eventhough they deserve it more than me and work harder.

If you love an artist but you see they have less Support, let them know about your feelings!
Its a small and not time consuming thing but a great thank you for the artist that made you happy with something they worked on for hours.
