Yeah, I worked on a canvas this time. Suprising! But I wanted to practice using these flowers for my schoolwork. Scary process, but it was definitely worth it. I think it's cute! I love flowers!!

Some random assortment of Zoobles and a mildly old sketch of the animal versions of Zooble and Gangle from episode 5 that I thought was cute enough to share but probably not enough to be in one of these posts if I ever do any doodle-based ones.
Also, I'm going to see The Last Act on Saturday with 2 friends!! Yayayayay!!! SO excited for that. Dodged a lot of leaks but we're at the home stretch!!

This little..comic.. thing? I'm not sure what to call it but anyway it is a masterpiece.
Episode 6 is definitely my favourite of the show and I don't see that changing unless 9 absolutely blows it out of the park, honestly peak of the show for me.
I love these two's dynamic so much. Gangle finds it hard to find humanity in herself, whereas Zooble holds onto their humanity as best as they can and helps her see the humanity in herself.
However, in becoming this rock for her, they try to conceal their own insecurities, and as such, Gangle sees them as someone who is strong and unbreakable. She can't fathom the idea of them being like *her* in a way, can't think of them as fragile.
While, of course, this idolisation could be considered unhealthy, at some point between episode 6 and 7 Zooble was able to speak up about their own insecurities to Gangle and they were able to help each other through it.
..this is my interpretation anyway. Maybe I'm reading it wrong I dunno..

Genuinely such a cool and misunderstood pokémon, another one of my favourites. The poor thing just wanted to help warn others, and they thought it was evil!
Such a sweet species of pokémon despite everything.
Like everyone else in the Irl Au, [Gangle] also experiences digital hallucinations, but they manifest in a more emotional and reality-bending form, along with some tactile sensations primarily on her face. She doesn’t experience them often, but they can last for days and take a huge toll on her both mentally and physically.
Thankfully [Zooble] and [Pomni] are there to help her through it, just like she does for them 💚

I think Bazooble is a compulsive hoarder at heart and steals from others just to achieve the most outlandish and wacky looks for their avatar possible.

The first one is based on a screenshot from 'They All Get Guns' and her development, the second is based on Zooble's development throughout the show, and the third I named "The calm before the storm" because, well, episode 8 drops today!! I'm super excited (and terrified) for it.
We started with these concept sketches, on which the insane amount of attention prompted me to make another batch the next day. It's been developed from there.
Key point is: what if Gangle gained the ability to possess people from a corruption in the code? What if she was emboldened to exercise her powers to the others' detriment, pursuing making her circus into a dollhouse of her friends as her ideal of happiness?
