Slam Dunk North 2017 | Don Broco

So it turns out that 2017 was the year I got completely behind on updating all of my social media. That’s ok though, it just means I have tons of stuff to show you guys. Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to shoot Slam Dunk Festival North for the third year running. It was my second time shooting Don Broco and the stage lighting made for some amazing images. Last month I turned another year older, I wasn't expecting much but I was very lucky to receive this Eumig Macro Sound 65XL. This is the exact same camera the kids use in the train crash scene at the start of the movie. The camera was sent over from Germany and arrived with an unopened pack of Kodachrome 40, the original microphone and a vintage tripod. I'm a very lucky guy and itching to get out and test this thing out!

I went to see my old school last night before it gets demolished to make way for one of those awful ones that looks like a spaceship. The place hasn’t changed at all since I left, and it seemed so much smaller. Sad to see this building go. Was happy to see it all one last time, but brought back some awful memories of the bullying I went through. Saw the spot where I got beaten up with a bike chain. Nasty Times.

Young Guns Played the main stage at Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds a few weeks back and while I was on site for the BringtheNoiseUK crew, I was lucky enough to catch some of their set. Definitely a band worth seeing and their new material seemed pretty cool.
