Love your blog and portrayal so much, keep it up!
"That's defintley brocken, Friend."
Actually started my workout today...
and I'm feeling great. Think I'm finally going to stick to this one. At least until tomorrow when I wake up feeling sore as shit.
Pathfinder isn’t looking for a family in his creator. Throughout his travels he’s met several individuals he considers as such, some of which would have liked him to stay.
No, what he’s really looking for is the answer to a question. Why? Why was he created? And why was he left to collect dust? These questions nag at him, refusing to let him settle down in one place for two long.
And one of his greatest fears is that the answer will be a disappointing one. Something along the lines of, “Because I could” or “I was just doing a job.”
When you say you're going to start your workout routine today...
But weasle your fat ass out of it by saying you've got too much to get done.
For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.
send me 👌 if your muse would bang mine
Pathfinder is pansexual, meaning he’s not limited by gender in who he can find attractive or be in a relationship with. So SHIP WITH ME! Joking, mostly.
I’m not joking.
Anyway, he’s also already been in a couple of romantic relationships during his travels, before joining the Apex Games.

“Lilian is certainly a powerful asset to any squad. Although, I suppose that isn’t saying much, is it? All of the legends are, after all.
I do like her, although she reminds me a bit of Elliott, as she can be cocky. That attitude isn’t unearned of course. She can handle herself well enough in the ring, with or without a team.
This can lead to her perhaps, taking on more than she can handle at times though. It’s not something I really mind while working with her however, as she uses her lengthy experience to benefit her team, a majority of the time.”

Pathfinder can, in fact, participate in sexual intercourse and has done so a few times before. Of course it isn’t in the traditional sense, as he doesn't possess genitalia of any kind.

Pathfinder’s display showed a blatant angry face in response to the man’s words.
He’d taken a liking to most of the legends who participated in the games. Caustic…was another matter though. For the most part, the motivations others had for joining in on this blood sport didn’t matter all that much to him. After all, he had his own goals to focus on.
However, Caustic was just all together, unpleasant. And his motivations were certainly morally questionable, from what he’d gathered. It definitely didn’t help matters when his gas traps did more harm than good for his own team, a member of which had been killed while trying to find their way out of the gas. Although he acknowledged the occasional usefulness of said traps, in this case it had successfully blinded them (excluding Caustic himself) to the whereabouts of the other squad.
“Given the circumstances, I would argue that one is in order, friend.”
Seeing the MVRN’s screen flicker to an angry face didn’t change Caustic’s attitude any. He knew that his gas traps costed a teammate’s life, but the other teammate should’ve been careful while being in that room. It was just common sense- well, in his mind it was. At the other’s rather angry tone, the chemist looked back to the robot’s optic before going to speak.
“As stated before, I am not going to apologize for something that should have been plain knowledge. They knew what exactly they were getting into. If they did not- well, I cannot help that. “ Bluntly put- as always with Caustic. Then again, what was the point of beating around the bush? Pathfinder could understand what he was saying- he’d been around long enough. However, that was a fact Caustic thought about much… mostly due to how he didn’t care that much. “We don’t have time to mourn over our colleague. I suspect the other squad is still in there. We should kill them while we have the chance.”
It was moments like this when he seriously questioned why he ever agreed to work with Caustic. Unfortunately, Pathfinder would have to then remind himself that, despite the man’s morally questionable actions, the other legend was an undeniable asset to have on any squad.
After all, the MRVN had been on the other end of Caustic’s wrath enough times to know, it was always a better option to be passively ignored by him than actively sought out for use as one of his test subjects.
Reluctantly seeing the man’s point, Pathfinder’s display changed again to something more neutral. He still was far from happy with the situation but there wasn’t much that could be done to salvage it now. Save for eliminating the enemy squad anyhow.
Pathfinder took a few steps towards the only entrance to the room that the toxic gas was still seeping from, and luckily wasn’t forced to enter before a member of the enemy squad came crawling out, practically wheezing for a breath of fresh air. Looking up, they were met with the sight of a peacekeeper only inches away from their face. “Shi-”
“You did a really mediocre job, friend.” Pathfinder cut them off, his screen briefly displaying an ironic smiley face before pulling the trigger.
“That’s one.” He confirmed, gesturing towards the room halfheartedly, “Be my guest.”
@angeljumper liked for a starter))
Pathfinder quite liked a majority of the legends, but wasn’t tied down to any one squad. Most who joined the games learned that there were no hard feelings if you ended up gunning down someone you’d teamed up with before. It was nothing personal, well, not for Pathfinder anyhow. Usually, he did prefer to work with legends he already knew. However, every now an again he’d squad up with new arrivals or even just legends he had yet to meet.
Naturally, such curiosity would put him into situations like this. Two squad mates down, one of which already had an inactive banner. Luckily, the other wasn’t in such dire straights. Although he didn’t move to help her until he downed the squad that had jumped them.
“You’re in bad shape, friend.” He spoke in a matter-of-fact manner, as he shifted the woman onto her back and not so gently, plunged a syringe into her chest.
She had jumped into a team full of shotguns when she only had a P2020 even if she was military trained and augmented nothing could stop a spray of shotgun shells coming her way, nonetheless she nodded at the friendly robot and grinned, even after nearly dying.
“Thanks for the pick-me up little buddy, I hope you saved me something, a small pistol isn’t really my thing”.
She chuckled and looked over the area checking if there where any stragglers or people moving in for an attack, noting non she looked up to the bot and hummed happily.
“Havoc?” It was less of an actual question, as he didn’t wait for a response and simply handed it over to her. Best to avoid a repeat of leaving either of them outgunned. Although, if they went up against any full squad that was somewhat unavoidable.
But that just meant they needed to be better. Considering she had survived the onslaught with so little firepower, he could say they had a decent enough chance.
“It’s just you and me.”
He informed, not having bothered with the body of their fallen teammate, save for taking the syringes they hadn’t had a chance to use.
There were still several minutes before the circle location would be revealed to everyone. So, Pathfinder proceeded to the beacon they had come up the mountain for in the first place.
“Thanks buddy all i need now is a Peacekeeper or a Spitfire and I’m all set”.
She nodded at being just the two of them, she didn’t mind she quite liked those odds plus it would make all their next fights an even battle so it was a win win.
Walking with path up the mountain she kept her eyes on the area below and other areas they could get attacked from, she hated getting flanked plus she didn’t have the armor for a full fledged fight yet.
“Alright Path you know our destination? I kinda want to set up base and get some armor and better guns”.
They had unfortunately been unlucky with their landing spot. No one had been around, which was always a bonus, but there hadn’t been very much in terms of good loot either.
This was at least part of the reason they’d struggled so much against a team they likely would have been able to give more of a challenge with better gear. So, it would definitely be beneficial to get some more looting in before they came across other, possibly more well-equipped, squads.
Scanning the survey beacon didn’t take long and he trusted the woman had his back for the short time he was distracted.
“I’ve updated our maps, it appears we’ll need to start heading southwest, friend.”
“Lets see if we can make it to Skulltown town then, and hopefully we get better loot along the way”.
She cracked her knuckles and her neck, she was ready. Looking to pathfinder she hummed and checked her map and slowly started to create a route that would hopefully bring a good amount of loot their way.
“Alright I have a route planned out just waiting on your say, we should get moving the storm starts moving though”.
Leaving without path would only get them both killed, and she very much would like to not die on a winning streak.
Skulltown would probably have been heavily looted by now, it being one of the usual hotspots, especially for the uninitiated who went in thinking they’d be able to get their hands on the good stuff first.
Of course, this typically ended with them being shot in the face after finding nothing but gun attachments. Although, by now, it would likely have calmed down enough for the two of them to head in without being faced with several full squads at once.
“Sounds like a plan, friend.”
He agreed, before aiming his zipline gun towards the bottom of the mountain they’d just scaled and deploying it, figuring this would be faster than going back the way they’d just came.
“Ladies first?”
Pathfinder asker, gesturing towards the zipline.

Pathfinder’s display, which displayed a smiley face a good majority of the time, changed to a sad one. Emotions were still an enigma to him, when it came to himself of course but even more so with those around him. They were quite complex. “I see.”
With Bloodhound being seemingly more closed off than most, accompanied with the inability to read their facial expressions, well, that just added to the difficulty.
Although he had gone into this specific situation expecting the offer of physical affection to be rejected, Bloodhound never did give off the impression of a hugging type. Though, he’d supposed it was worth a shot. “An interesting read, is it?”
He blamed his bad jokes on Elliott, the man had been a terrible influence on him in that regard.
Finally sitting down to get some writing done and stop being the lazy person I am for a bit, lol
Ugh, it's been such a lazy week...
Will be writing up any responses I haven't done tomorrow. Probably some headcanon stuff as well!
